No. It's not common sense. Common sense would be outside since I want the strokes to go on the outside, or on the edges of the sig. I thought inside meant like deep inside the sig.

Hue/saturation is really bad. It'll make everything 1 hue, so your sig will be monotone. Ugh. If you want that effect, I'd say try to inward bevel. It's in blending options under bevel/emboss.

I bet that the original one could be better, but the color that you used killed it. With the first one, there are bright blue colors. I hate those. With the second, no light shiny blue.

Too black and white for me. The blending and everything is good, but I just don't like the color scheme.

Wow, that looks really good. Looks like a work of Brooks. How did you make the fire/wind effect by the render? The only thing I'd change is the text. Nudge it up a bit so that it'll be in the rectangle/fill area. And where did you get a picture of my abs??

But how do you know that the text is not centered? I like its simplicity and the vibrant colors that you used. It would have been much better if the name on it were Brooks though.

No suggestion for text, but you could remove to scanlines to see how it would look....

Maybe it's the blue background and the whitish-blue circles that led me to think that he's wearing muffs. I don't know. Why didn't you make the background green though?
