  1. The movie was about 90% first book and the other 10 was from second book, or so I read on a movie site. I found that game a long time ago at school online, and the site he gave seems correct...42
  2. I first heard about this game about 2 years ago. That essentially means I have no idea what its about. Its released later this year. When you look at it, it looks like every other FPS (aside from the fact it's cel shaded). I just found out some interesting gameplay details, though. In the game, you follow preset paths with forks you can take by turning. The skill of this game comes from your quick aiming and taking quick shots at the baddies. I'm not sure how this will turn out. It could either lead to a ton of cheap shots a la Dragon's Lair, or it could be very easy and anybody will fly through it (at the same speed as anyone else). Its an interesting idea for a game, but I'm not sure if its buy-worthy. It'll definately be a rental game.I'm not exactly sure on the release date, so if anyone knows, go ahead and post it.
  3. Also, since the ads are content relative, wouldn't putting the code on a blank page return no results anyways? They literally have nothing to go off of.
  4. http://www.i-mockery.com/winky/default.php That's a neat little site I found about the militant mentality that surrounds sXe kids. The fighting, the gang beatings... sXe is just a scene. Like emo and ravers, it will always exist. Its just a group of lonely people looking to be nonconformists just like the others. They call themselves straightedge to become part of an exclusive group. The x's are in a way, a members only jacket. I'm not bashing the lifestyle, as I am fairly straightedge, I just don't feel that they need to set themselves apart because of it.
  5. I have myspace, but due to the massive amounts of javascript, and the massive restrictions on my browser on my phone, I usually just hang around xanga.
  6. I hate you... Not really, but I dont have firefox at school. I cant do this one. Maybe i should be cool and install firefox...heh~aaron
  7. lol... Did you forget to preview or was that a very ironic way of proving your point?I never used the edit button... I always just read it through to make sure I said everything I wanted, and if I wanted to add more, I just posted again. I didn't even notice its absence...
  8. Not too much will change. Possibly some new innovations in technology, but environmentally and politically, the world will still be total chaos/hell for everyone. I don't see anything changing majorly. No colonization of other planets. I think we'll be lucky if we are converted over to hydrogen fuel by then
  9. Well, here in america we celebrate veterans day, but the only war type thing we lost was vietnam... But I agree, war is stupid.
  10. First of all, its "indie". The killers have had a fairly fast rise to the mainstream. I first heard about them from cd101 THE alternative station (http://cd1025.com/). Many bands get dragged into the mainstream. If you hate bands being thrust into the spotlight, listen to bands that everyone should like, but doesn't. For example, They Might Be Giants. They have been around 23 years, have had 1 number one hit (birdhouse in your soul, february 2001, I think) and one grammy (best tv theme, Boss of Me for Malcom In the Middle). TMBG have released somewhere close to 10 cds now, not including alternate versions. The thing that pushes them away from the mainstream is the accordion... But see, you can't hate a band for going mainstream. I've known about the killers longer than most people; I heard "somebody told me" back in august. It was in the new artist launchpad on cd101, and they are almost always on top of the indie music scene. The reason I say you can't hate a band for going mainstream is *most* bands make music either for money or sex. There are a few true musicians, but this is the blatent truth. almost any band would gladly sign to a major label if it meant more money. Even the purists would because it would make touring easier.
  11. I'm fairly straight edge. Except the whole vegan/vegetarian thing. I don't do drugs, I don't drink anymore. I used to mess around with girls casually, but all it ever did was make me depressed. I have found life to be much better/easier to cope with when I'm thinking straight. I'm no hardcore kid. I listen to piano rock. The music really has nothing to do with how you live. I agree it is bad to force your opinions on other people. And yes, history does show that alternative lifestyles are so much fun. But isn't stealing fun? Isn't there a thrill as you gently squeeze the trigger and feel the gun recoil...Um... The point I'm trying to make is that sometimes stuff that's not good feels great. Otherwise people wouldn't do it. Why else are there serial killers? They feed off the thrill of the kill. Sometimes, as antiamerican as it seems, you have to force yourself to suffer in order to get stronger.*note* I have never killed anyone or stolen anything. It was all speculation. Hehe
  12. Unspammable? I highly doubt it. Even with the best filters and tricks, spammers will find a way. Its all a matter of time... Oh, I had a host that wanted you to install "plugins" once. It turned out to be spyware. Be careful on what you download.
  13. Well, I tried it. Darn Bess must have had a security boost, because its not working now. Thanks anyways. Those were some pretty neat tools...
  14. Wow! Thank you so much! Homestarrunner, here i come! heh. thanks
  15. The price? There are plenty of free sites, such as xanga.com, livejournal.com, blogger.com. I personally use xanga.
  16. Has anyone else ever checked out http://www.i-mockery.com/ ? Its not the most politically correct site, and its definately offensive, but it can be downright hilarious.one thing to read is the sexual moments in video game history article. Good, fun stuff.
  17. Heh, I live on xanga. When I'm not hitting the message boards, or finding exploits to our school's security system(bess=evil), I am constantly reading random people's blogs. Not just xanga, but that's the only one I have an account with.
  18. Well, there are a few reasons I use xanga. First, and foremost, xanga is compatable for me. I only have internet access from my cell phone, and its browser is mozilla 5.0 compatable. It supports no flash, so I can't login to blogger.com and it has no javascript support, so livejournal and myspace are limited at best. The second reason I use xanga is I'm lazy. I could just as well write my own blog script or use the one from here in Xisto, but I've already got a xanga. And yes, the look of xanga is way overrated. In a way, I'm glad my cell phone doesn't display colored text or backgrounds. I'm not proud of how mine looks. It was just an easy alternative to writing my own script.
  19. None of that wil work. Our school has removed "run" from the start menu, and they also found a way to lock command prompt... Man, this sucks. Our school has blocked almost everything on the computer.
  20. Well, if you can get the money, somehow, I really recommend Macromedia Fireworks. It is very user friendly and has a ton of tools. Just don't use freehand. I got a book on it and still can't figure it out. Hmm... Also, psp and photoshop work.
  21. Well, the topic is very self explanitory. I'm looking to find this out because it is a... Well, a security loop at school for the gaming sites I want to access. Any help is very... Helpful... Haha~aaron
  22. Ok, for all you artists out there... http://www.deviantart.com/ is the best online art gallery I have ever seen. Free sign up, and from what I can tell, unlimited storage space for pictures. Also, deviantART is not limited to pictures and drawings. All form of digital art, including flash animations and games are welcome. Its a great place to get your art critiqued. One warning, art thieves *do* hang around sometimes. DeviantART has taken many steps to avoid it, but it is still possible. My site is http://lackingimagination.deviantart.com/
  23. Myspace doesn't work well for me... Javascript everywhere, and I have a very limited web browser. Anyways, my xanga is http://xanga.com/, fun stuff... Xanga is probably the biggest time waster on the net.
  24. I like the design, but in my opinion, the piano should be slightly darker. It does look great though. Keep up the good work. And as a side note, (pun intended) they are called the black keys. No fancy names. HahaAaron
  25. The colorblind contest is especially funny, where you change only one color or object in a picture and leave the rest untouched. Also the celeb testimonial or whatever contest was funny.
