In my family it was just two boys, my mom didn't really pamper us though. We do get quite a bit of support and freebies from our parents, but we aren't pampered either. I think I grew up to be a very good man and I'm glad of the way my parents raised me; though I don't plan on getting married for quite some time, I don't think I'll be a bad husband.

Even though the smoke effect didn't work out very well, I think the sig looks pretty good. The grey does look like it fades a little too quickly, but other than that, i like it.Edit: Now that you put up the second one, I really like it. It doesn't seem to have too much color, but it still looks pretty good to me.

Winxp, Winvista And Linux Multiboot Is it possible?
t3jem replied to SamiFX's topic in Operating Systems
From what I understand about partitions, different paritions are like completely different hard drives, at least to the computer they are. So if you write to partition (E:) then it should not do anything to partition (C:). I may not be an expert about this, but it should have no affect on your primary partition. -
Why Not To Get Married My fun divorce
t3jem replied to chefwhit606's topic in Dating And Relationships
Well, obviously you need to take your time when your planning on getting married, and you should not rush into marriage, but you shouldn't give up marriage all together. You do want to pick your spouse carefully, but you don't want to scrutinize every person you meet otherwise you will never find the right one; nobody is perfect. You do give a good point on what happens when you don't pay attention to who you marry, so I think the best way for a good marriage is to think about how well you will get along with that person with the rest of your life rather than for just the next couple years. -
I've played number 1 and 2 for the PS2, and your right, its very addicting. There are some knockoffs on the internet for PC, but they aren't any good. But yea, they did a good job on making the game, though the price is a little steep for me.

Age Of Empires (please Answer My 1 Second Question) A Quick Question
t3jem replied to Lindsay7321's topic in Computer Gaming
well depends, there are three Age of Empires games, which one are you using? In the third one you should just be able to go to multiplayer or something like that on the main menu and go online to play, same for network play its in the same link on the main menu. I haven't played any of the others, but I would assume its alot alike. Also if your having problem reaching the internet with the game, then go into your router and use port fowarding or DMZ. -
regarding what husker said. Bullies normally bully others due to low self of steam, so fighting back/embarrasing him will only make things worse. And he did say he was at a private school, and I would be surprised if a kid at a private school doesn't have parents that care.

well, i recently stumbled apon anarchy online. You can download at http://www.anarchy-online.com/ . Well, i think thats the link anyways, i'd check, but i'm at the max tabs right now. anyways, its kinda like everquest, only instead of placed in a farytale land it's placed in the future. It's pretty cool. But its only free until january 2008. Also runescape is a good one, but gets boring after a while i suppose.

First of all, fighting fire with fire, it's never a good thing. You don't want to stoop down to his level, if your complaining about him, i'm sure your better than that. Now, what I would suggest is perhaps, talking to his parents, in public schools this might do nothing; however, if he is in a private schools his parents will at least talk to him at the very least. If you talk to his parents and let them know what their son is doing then they'll talk to him/punish him; however, be very kind and cureous and don't make it sound like your trying to get him in trouble, parents don't like hearing that their kids aren't behaving correctly. Secondly if the bully finds out that your the one who told his parents it may get worse, so let them know that you want to remail annonymous. You could also let a teacher know and they could do something about it. I hope this helps.

wow, i've been looking to program for the wii pretty much ever since I got one, but i've never been able to find any source for it. This isn't really what I was looking for, but you know what? its good enough, for now anyways, awesome, thanks a ton for the link. Can't wait to try it out.

Well actually I beleive you are wrong on both points you made. The first one, that people would specialize on one thing and become very good at it. I believe, just like they did long, long ago, that some people may search to specialize in a feild; however, most will not and you will end up with a population that will follow any leader that can speak. As for the second, that school doesn't get you far/money. If you are very, very, lucky, then you may be able to get a decent wage with no education; however, no one will hire you without any education, most jobs now won't hire you unless you've graduated high school. And if you go through colledge, get a doctorat, you'll be making tons of money as there aren't many highly educated people out there. So all in all, public education is a very good thing.

utorrent is clean and free too, and I'm pretty sure it's open source too. I use utorrent and am pretty happy with it; though, my downloads are slow, but I think its because of my internet and router.

Payperpost A legit way to make money with your blog
t3jem replied to lekrissy's topic in Business Forum
Well, I signed up for it, but I'm not sure how to really get started, I was at my main page and all and I figured out I need to create a blog profile or something, so I'll figure that out some other time, thanks for the link though. -
As said above, neither gmail nor hotmail give out spam. I don't know who you give your emails to, but I get 0 spam, in my spam folder or out. I don't get much email either but either way, the spam filter on the accounts can't stop all spam especially if you give your email out to a site that will use your email maliciously. My hotmail account receives tons of spam, its annoying and I can't stop it, so I moved to gmail, I know that if I gave the same people my gmail email then i'd get the same emails, so its not gmail's fault your getting spam, its yours.

Favorite Os? What is your Favorite Operating system
t3jem replied to Mafian's topic in Operating Systems
I use windows because its easy and comes with my computer, i'm too lazy to try linux as this is my only computer and not willing to lose everything. The only real reason I stick with windows though is its compatability with 95% of all applications I use. If Mac was able to run exe files without emulation or a higher load on CPU there is a high chance I'd switch over. I've only used mac for about 10 minutes total, but the time i spent on there i was impressed at how fast it ran (I don't think it was that good either). And like I said, I'm too lazy for linux. When I get a new laptop in a year or two it will be windows, but I will reformat and put XP on it because I don't like vista at all since it takes up way too much memory. -
How Clean Is Your Room? Mine is like a blizzard hit town....lol
t3jem replied to velma's topic in General Discussion
My room used to be neat and clean until lately when i've been behind on my school work, havn't really been able to do anything. I'll probably clean it up a bit today as... well I'd be surprised not to find a packrat in here. My closet is somewhat clean as all my stuff ends up on my floor, whatever makes my room messy either doesn't go in the closet or its my clothes that i'm too lazy to hang at the moment. mainly just computer/game stuff and clothes I havn't put away yet. Other than that, the only other sore spot in my room would be my desk as i only make enough space for my laptop to set down and nothing else really, its mainly a bunch of junk that I have no use for, but oh well, I guess i'm the packrat in my room. -
As for a game concept, i've been into MMO games lately, those are fun, but they are the hardest to make. If your interested, I know some C++, OpenGL, and some webbased programming too, i'm looking for experience but I've never gone to school for it yet. So just in case you want some help, i'm really busy so I could probably only give an hour or two a day, but once summer starts I can give alot more (in about 1-2 months).

I think the whole point is so someone doesn't rack up like 500 points, gets hosted, then they don't have to post for a year. It helps keep the forum alive so people will keep posting even after they get hosting.

I do believe that sinning can send you to hell; however, I don't believe everyone goes to hell because if you accept christ into your live and accept that jesus died on the cross and rose again to save us from our sins then you can go to heaven. The only way to heaven is through jesus, every one sins so you must repent your sins to get into heaven. If you honestly repent your sins to god then you will be able to get into heaven.

I've never had a warning from a moderator about my posts being sloppy or anything. Here nor at Xisto. Maybe you just type as if your instant messaging? Mainly they will warn you if you plagiarize or start making it hard to read.

I'm not planning on getting vista, I get a new computer in a year and even then I'll most likely just reformat and install XP on it, unless vista runs insanely fast on the computer i get, i'll downgrade for better performance, I can't stand trying to keep up with technology these days, your out of date in a month. Vista is too flashy for me, I don't mind the old 95 graphics if it makes the computer run alot faster. For me it is use over looks, if it works good but looks like a 3 year old drew it then so be it, i'm going to use it over something that looks amazing but works horribly.

Have You Ever Lied Online? Tell me why people would lie online
t3jem replied to velma's topic in General Discussion
I lie online about my age and location and stuff, especially when signing up for accounts on websited, I won't give my full name, i'll give a false location and I'll make myself older for security reasons. But I don't lie about my profession or anything to make myself look better. I don't agree with lieing so I don't think its right to lie about profession and stuff even online, but I can understande lieing to be secure; however, if I were chatting with someone I've never met in real life, and they asked me sensitive information I just wouldn't tell them. -
Happy easter and may everyone be blessed with good fortune.. oh wait, if your here you already have . Well happy easter anyways!!

Runescape Cheats From Players Calling all RS players
t3jem replied to seez's topic in Computer Gaming
There are no cheats in runescape. Cheats are put into games by the game developers mainly to help some people beat the game and stuff, or for jokes. Runescape is an MMORPG meaning hundreds of thousands of people compete in a single game so they would not all agree on enabling cheats; therefore, cheats are not programmed into the game. There are exploits though, but these are illegal to use, they are usually fixed as soon as they are found too. If you are caught using an exploit then your banned. You can also macro, but again, this is illegal and you will get banned, and as xfartx has proven, many real players will get mad at you. Runescape has a very good macro catcher so if you want to keep your account i would strongly suggest not using them, also runescape can ban by IP meaning your entire LAN can't play runescape (if you use a lan, otherwise just your computer). So to cut it short, theres no way to cheat in runescape, you have to play fair and square. Hope this clears things up for you
