The thread starter is asking how to untar the tar file in the server. He is asking how to untar the tar file in the file manager or Cpanel. What admin has done also I've never done. If you have followed that's very good. However, my recommendation to him is get Winrar and Unzip the tar file locally in his local computer and then zip again using winzip so that he can upload to the server using upload to the server any folders after public_html and after you finish uploading click on the zip file, you will have options in the right side, click on extract the file, it will extract all the files. Tar files are difficult to manage but have been used for compressions since they comes with smaller size when compressed. It is good for storing purpose but when we have to use it is first better to convert in zip file only. That's my suggestion.

Hi Electron, That's a very unfortunate case. I'm hearing such case for the first time. I too am an HP laptop user. Of course, their Compaq laptop. I do not have any problem so far. Mine too has been over a year, the warranty has expired but it is still working normally like it did before. I think such case will happen to one in thousands. And the fact is that your laptop went unfuctional after a year, which is after the warranty period is over. I think you have very less valid points to claim that they are unfair and are not good, simply because the warranty period is gone. Since I bought my current laptop much before March 2005 it is of course difficult to comment on the programme they put in the laptop so that the laptop will not function right after the warranty period. My point is that if it goes wrong after the warranty period since that isn't covered anymore by their warranty as a customer we have nothing to claim except to repair what actually went wrong. And I think you are only doing that. However, I cannot understand why HP is asking that much amount only for the LCD.

Italy well deserved the 2-0 win against Germany. In fact, Germany was not a good team except that they enjoy the home crowd and as such they deserve to bow out like South Korea who as a host four years ago enjoyed the same luck and bowed out finally at the semi-finals. I had used wireless internet connection in the past. It was in my friends place. My friend has a wireless internet connection at home, luckily he let me try once and it worked on my system as well. My first reaction is Wow, I should say it is one of the best themes I've seen in php-Nuke. I like the theme very much - the only problem I see is the loading speed. In many places internet connection is as slow as snails. It took me much time to see all the graphics properly. But I think it's worth. If one wants a good theme then he also needs to sacrifice loading speed to some extend. However, content is not much for visitors to keep coming back. I think you should increase the content posting. Also, why not make the forums available to all, atleast it must be viewable by visitors. Otherwise when we can't see anything we won't feel like registering in the site at first.

I recommend and voted the third one. The third one is the right template for the kind of people who are going to use that website. Specially many people are going to make use of the forum there and it is good to have it in the left side of the page, which is in the middle of the screen and menu on the right. That's a very cute button for trap seventeen. But the size is not common and I wonder where to place in the site. I would rather go for the smallest size banner that we find in Mozilla Firefox browser banners. That size is good to put even in all the pages of any site. However, the bigger the banner the more time it takes to load the page. You've got the skill in making the animation which is pretty impressive but I recommend that the height of the banner to be smaller and width to be a little longer. May be you could design few more so that we can choose as well. Thanks.
