  1. Ah, that's good to know. I don't use search function or user comments. I went to public_html/cutenews.1.4.5/cutenews/data, opened up config.php, searched through the entire page but couldn't find anything regarding "permission." Could the permission change function be located in another file? Thanks again for your help!
  2. Hi BuffaloHelp, Config.php doesn't show up as an option, so I guess I have to go through Cpanel. If you happen to know where within the Cutenews file I need to make the change to CHMOD 777 I'll go ahead and try. Otherwise, I'm ok manually entering code until I have time to upgrade. Sure appreciate your help thus far. Hi TrueFusion, thanks for investigating the problem. Looks like I'm on an older version and will ultimately have to upgrade. Yikes!
  3. Hi BuffaloHelp, thanks for troubleshooting this further. I?ve noticed just recently when I?m in there trying to add or edit a post, the html toggle view is no longer visible (it used to show up under the ?short story? box). I clicked on article options and while ?Convert new lines to <br/> shows up, nothing happens when I try to check it. It won?t even highlight. Then I went into WYSYWIG and it was already activated. But when I try to make any changes within System Configuration:News, I get a whole page of error messages, starting with:Warning: fopen(./data/config.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/vbritton/public_html/cutenews.1.4.5/cutenews/inc/options.mdu on line 754So, I ended up manually entering code (<br /><br />) to get a page break on my last post. Would you happen to know if I can (easily) upgrade straight from v.1.4.5 to UTF-8 without losing all my material and settings? Thanks again.
  4. Thank you for the timely and excellent response, BuffaloHelp; as always, it is much appreciated. I tried double spacing to make paragraphs with no luck so far, I'm guessing because I'm on an older version that's apparently been rendered defunct. Is "WYSIWYG" something I can engage within Cutenews? If not, where might I look? I will also look into the upgrade you recommended.
  5. I'm not dead yet. I feel happy, I feel happy......

  6. Greetings, I am attempting to add new posts to my site (vivianbritton.com) via Cutenews, and while I can do so, the program is suddenly lacking HTML function, making it impossible to render individual paragraphs. If you look at my last entry you'll note it views as one long paragraph, verses the several that would render normally. I am lacking technical skills, so for all I know I'm missing something on my end. All advice, help, and input is appreciated. Cheers
  7. Hi Nik, so good to see you here! Hope you are well.

    Cheers,

  8. Rubbing a white mans foot on a buggered patch of flesh strikes me unsavory, unhygienic,, unpleasant, and oh so..stinky. Not unlike mingling virgin Canadian hemp oil with genetically altered corn rendered in Monsantos evil lab of Franken-food horrors. Might lead to fungus-among-us or god/goddess knows what else. If I must be compelled to rub a human foot on a fresh bite, than so be it, but please make it an aboriginal, preferably black footor at least one with some measurable melanin. Give me color! For I have suffered long enough at the invasive and alien alabaster foot of doom. The pronoun I here is used loosely, as I imagine others can relate to this irreverent take on the white foot the foot that has long kept natural man underfoot and enslaved. Jhalips link sheds further light on the plants entomology, wherein the site master elaborates on enghishmens (i.e., white) foot. Appropriate that they also reference Britain (englishmen), an empire with a long, illustrious history extending their power by keeping aboriginal peoples underfoot. Right. Now that Ive had enough fun subjecting yall to my very subjective (and twisted) interpretation of the plants origins, there are actually some practical measures one can take to keep the bugs off. First off, if youre of the female persuasion, consider yourself as likelier bate for various and sundry parasites. Not sure why this is. But if youve ever enjoyed an all night kegger with friends on a long summers eve, take note of the mosquito complaints. The majority tends to come from women. One might appropriately think this is because women are more likely to complain when something hurts. Youd get no argument from me there. If something bites me, youre going to hear about it. But it turns out theres more to this than simple psychology. I could probably dredge up the link if anyones interested, but a study I recall concluded that mosquitoes do, in fact, prefer to feed on the fairer sex. The theories submitted were mostly conjecture, the hormonal factor sounding most plausible. If someone were to patent a product that masks the scent of the pheromones these parasites seem most attracted to, we might likely do away with bug bite topicals. Apparently theres still too much money to be made in insecticides and expensive pharmaceutical band aids. Perhaps for the same reasons youll never see industry present a cure for cancer, we may never see an effective pheromone insect blocker. In lieu of the technology purposely kept suppressed from humanity, we are left to our own devices. Thus, it is heartening to see topic starter address the botanical alternatives we still have access to, that is, before the FDA makes them illegal. Yes, any government capable of declaring a plant illegal (think cannabis) is capable of much worse. Plans are in the works to make it impossible for you or I to purchase Vitamin C without a prescription. This is but a start, of course. Other botanicals one could use as bug bit ointment would also be subject to the draconian Codex Alimentarius: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Ultimately, rendering oneself an inhospitable host to parasites is the final solution. Eat raw garlic at every opportunity and avoid genetically modified food, most prevalent in factory farmed meat. But when you do get bit, a few things do come to mind. I spray any initial break in skin with hydrogen peroxide (H2o2) and follow with a thin application of betodine iodine. Let dry, then cover with botanical of choice. The botanical, unlike a band-aid, will allow your skin to breath and subsequently heal faster. One might start with a purging paste of neem and turmeric. This paste has long been used in India for dealing with all manner of ecto-parasite related infections. Follow up with a light glaze of honey. Yes, its sticky, but the bees knew what they were doing.
  9. Nowadays, terms like engineer are often loosely incorporated into job roles that may have previously been considered of the entry level, blue-collar persuasion. An unconventional use of the term at best, at least from my jaundiced perspective. The phenomenon strikes me as yet another corporate ploy to make the rapidly declining work force feel good about performing menial labor for a shrinking paycheck. Factor in dollar decline and inflation and today?s American slave averages no more take-home than he did in 1972 (not sure on date, but if memory serves it was in fact this year). And the dollar continues to decline. I imagine this is more apparent in the States where we are currently undergoing a controlled demolition of the economy, thanks to the same parasites pushing global government and the "green" agenda. They envision an entire world of low-paid surfs at their disposal. I always chuckle when I hear the talking heads exclaim that employment rates are on the rise. For who, and doing what? They fail to mention the jobs in question entail flipping burgers at McDonald?s and scrubbing toilets at Wal-Mart, or....shoveling dog crap off a manicured hotel lawn. The skilled blue/white collar jobs that once fueled the American empire are being systematically shipped offshore where highly educated foreign counterparts perform the same work for far less. So your average slave is going to feel a whole lot better about changing light bulbs in a hotel room for minimum wage if he gets to call himself an engineer. And the employer, conversely, knows he?s going to weed out the fray by inserting terms like ?engineer? into the job category. It?s a win-win for everyone, in a twisted sort of way, that is. Having said that, I have always found hotel maintenance people extremely hard working, coconscious employees, and above that, fun! Yes, when you get a chance to talk to them outside the prying ears of management they have many stories to tell, most of them involving what they perceive as incompetent management. Many of those I spoke to felt they were hindered from doing their best because a boss couldn?t see the forest for the trees. Still others acquire a jaded view of people in general. "People are animals," was a common theme. Having traveled extensively, I would agree for the most part, though the comparison to animals is an insult to our furred and feathered bretheren. I am always appalled at how people treat property that belongs to someone else. Usually the people in question are over eighteen. I recall a recent stay at a west coast Holiday Inn Express. The property had seen better days, I think. It?s proximity to the Pacific Ocean and fine reputation subjected it to overuse form the vulgar, partying horde and business road warriors alike. While I was there a nurse?s convention was in progress. These medical professionals were feeding on junk food: chips, soda and the like. The irony. But they also had wine, which I happily availed myself to. Yes, I am capable of morphing into a nurse when free booze enters the equation. Thankfully none were wearing those pesky name cards and I slithered in unnoticed. These "adults" became quite unruly as the event progressed and after all was said and done it looked like a hurricane had hit. Hotel staff had never seen such a mess. These are the same scum sticking needles in your arm. When I checked into my room I was impressed with the size. It was large for a non-suite Holiday Inn. But so much of the space was underutilized. There was square dining table, but no work desk. If any of you travel you know how essential a work desk is. After inquiring with maintainace I discovered none of the rooms, not even suites, had work desks. He rightly thought it was poor use of space. Management claimed they ?couldn?t afford work desks.? Never mind that particular property pulls in an obscene amount of revenue and every other Holiday Inn I?ve ever stayed at had a work desk, for crying out loud. So in the final equation we?re talking about fun at hotels, eh? What I consider ?fun? during a hotel stay might not fit the common definition. My idea of a good time is being left the hell alone with no extraneous noise to cloud my misanthropic thoughts. Sadly, this kind of fun is hard to find in a hotel. It?s for this reason I prefer to scope out a property before checking in. This almost involves riding the elevator to the highest floor and locating a corner room that, 1). Faces toward the back of the property, and 2).is not parallel to the linen closet, i.e., the maid hangout. As much as I love the Spanish language I?m not about to subject my ears to these shrill cacklers all day. I do not check in until after I?ve scoped out a suitable location for my kind of fun. I?m not the only one. Top floor corner rooms are highly prized among seasoned travelers. One need look no further than previous posts to understand why.
  10. Oh yes. I have long eschewed lame-stream indoctrination for the refreshing climes of Internet radio. Here is freedom in action! Back in the day when I was still trapped in the hive mentality of society?s matrix, Michael Savage, Rush, and Laura Ingram were my radio hosts of choice. I still like Savage as a speaker, not so much for his political platform, though I concur with much of it, but for his misanthropic (a philosophy near and dear to my heart) perspective. As a wise man once suggested, if you?re not a misanthrope by 40 you?ve never really loved humanity. And lets face it, the guy?s got one of the best voices in radio. Great resonance. Or at least he did. Last I heard he had been banned from Europe for ?hate speech?? What the hell is that? Sounds like a new and improved form of censorship to subdue those who don?t go along with the current program, whatever it happens to be at the time. Our masters are currently pushing the ?green? program, so anyone who doesn?t flop onboard the carbon emission junk-science bandwagon can expect to be singled out for harassment in the future, if they haven?t already. Then one fine day I woke up and realized these alleged radio conservatives were working for the same criminal government who also bank-rolled liberal (communist) radio. The same criminal government who presented the false paradmin of democrat and republican who are actually two sides of the same coin. The same government who slaughters innocents abroad, approves proven carcinogens for public consumption in collusion with the FDA, who robs the people of one third of their income, and who are caught in lie after lie. No. I saw no reason to continue subjecting my ears to their vile form of propaganda. Art Bell on coast-to-coast radio had also been a favorite, but I started questioning his newfound focus on UFOlogy. In his prime he had pioneered subjects like government cover-up, vaccine eugenics, and the like. Then he mysteriously disappeared after his child was ?kidnapped.? When he returned to radio, there was no more provocative truth telling on fascism within government, only interviews with whack jobs claiming alien abduction. I found myself in a bit of a quandary. It was then I started tooling about the Internet for alternatives to the lies and propaganda. Here I found liberty minded hosts the likes of Alex Jones on infowars.com, Jeff Rense of rense.com. And there was Dr. Rebecca Carley, who had practiced allopathic medicine and brazenling reported how the industry purposely produces professionals who don?t care about patients. These hosts entertained my exoteric sensibilities. But something was missing. I finally found blogtalkradio.com the capstone of my personal listening enjoyment. Here, I could search on esoteric topics at will and found a production presented by Occult Science Radio most illuminating. Prior to visiting the site I really had no idea American blacks had such profound interest in the subject. The media presents a rather jaded perspective of this community at large in an attempt to pit white against black. It?s always divide and conquer with our masters, you see (united we stand, divided we fall). Don?t recall the guests? name, but he brilliantly discussed the essential role a specific African tribe had played in formulation of the Qaballah, a tradition more popularly accredited to a semetic race. The man had several other historical insights that blew me away, and that I, with my bachelor?s degree had never been taught in University. So much has been left out our history books, our holy books, our news - intentionally or otherwise. Omission is nothing more than cleaver deception, and therefore, a lie. Our masters think it's imperative we know who Brittany whats-her-face happens to be copulating with on given day, but they won't tell us what's really going down. It is incumbent on the individual to seek out esoteric (hidden) truth, and then ask himself: why has it been kept hidden from public sight? Internet radio plays a vital role in disseminating information previously monopolized by those who would like to remain our slave masters. They've got another thing commin.'
  11. Every tradition has a written if not oral legacy detailing ?evil? entities who inhabit other dimensions, occasionally making themselves known to humans via dreams or other phenomena ? or when specifically invited. It?s difficult to imagine peoples the world over and of no relation were all experiencing the same hallucinations. Then there?s the apparent dualistic nature of our reality: black/white, up/down, male/female, magnet/steel, ying/yang, hot/cold, winter/summer, good/evil. You have the ?new agers? who for the most part seem to embrace the concept of good and it?s divine energies but dismiss the other half of the equation, seeking to stay in la-la land with their rose-colored spectacles. There are extensive, encyclopedic works on demonology which go into graphic detail, the Book of Enoch considered a valuable resource for those of the Western tradition, as are Eliphas Levi and the much-maligned Allister Crowley. I had heard from one source the Book of Enoch was removed from the bible for it?s comprehensive overview of ceremonial magic and manipulation of demonic energies. Enochian magic is still considered by many one of the more dangerous schools. So do demonic beings exist? I tend to shy away from using terms like ?belief? as my personal paradigm has so many times been rocked to its very core. You know what I mean: Just when you think you?ve got it all figured out, another Pandora?s box opens to brand new possibilities thus proving your previous system wrong. But I can say that after years researching the enigma of good and evil, I now lean quite heavily in the affirmative. So yes, I am of the mind there are energies, entities, demons ? if you like, who play a very real role in our lives. If we allow them to. Which leads into the topic starter?s second query, demonic possession. And my answer here is quite similar to what I stated in the first paragraph. It seems every culture has within the tribe, the church or the mystery school an individual, who either through innate ability or extensive training, the ability to exorcise evil spirits from possessed persons and/or land. Who is best qualified comes down more to the exorcist?s track record, but how does one research such things? In light of this, the Catholic Church might be the first place an individual of American persuasion might seek help, as they have centuries more experience with exorcisms than their protestant counterparts. Although, nowadays, the Church has become so homogenized with Protestantism she has lost her finer arts - which is why I long stopped attending mass. The beauty and mystery has been usurped with protestant worldliness. I am not discounting pagan or Eastern resources either. I imagine an individual reared in Hindu culture would be better off seeking assistance through Brahmans, as that?s where his core beliefs were formulated. Sadly, we are 80% the product of our upbringing unless we choose to shake off our default programming. There is some debate regarding the psychological type more likely to become the mark of demonic possession. A few things stand out in my research as more plausible. Firstly, the mark is often narcistic as a result of being emotionally or physically abused as a child. Such individuals may lack self-esteem and often roam the earth as empty shells, readily adopting the latest fad or fashion in an effort to feel whole again. There is a vacuum inside. And nature abhors a vacuum, especially a vulnerable one who can't say "no." But this alone is not a recipe for possession. If this same individual, however, a). Through divination or other esoteric practice invites the presence of demonic, angelic, or elemental energies without extensive training, or, b., Begins sensing the presence of these energies and engages them in rapport via conversation or dreams. The key word here is engage. If you hear a voice out of nowhere talking to you, don't talk back! I'm not talking about the inner voice many refer to as the conscience or higher self, but an audible voice that sounds as if it's in the same residence with you. If you respond, the entity will interpret this as an open invitation to continue hounding you. Demonic possession is a serious threat to today?s youth, especially. The primary source as I see it is low-vibration media bombardment via te-LIE-vision, video games, and ?music? that encourages wonton dabbling in demonic frequencies. Do not attempt to commune, summon, or otherwise mingle with elementals without proper training and arsenal. This is akin to jumping off a plane without a parachute!
  12. Howdy Sheepdog, I hope you're keeping warm tonight. It's cold as hell up here. So much for global "warming." Hehehe..

  13. When I was at University I dated a guy (we?ll call him Jeremy for the sake of this conversation) who grew up in a situation somewhat similar to what to what the thread starter has described. His mother was emotionally abusive, and his father (not paternal) covered the physical side, occasionally knocking him and his older brother around, while leaving his sister alone. Fortunately for Jeremy, this horrible man met with an untimely end behind the wheel of an automobile late one night. But his mother survived the crash, and lived on to torment him throughout his teen years. I actually met this person and can attest to the sadistic joy she took in wearing down Jeremy?s self-esteem. After we drove across two states to visit her on his birthday (naively hoping she had changed?), the first words out of her mouth to him were, "You look horrid." Nice to see you too, Mom. He was hoping he'd get the usual welcome one might get after driving 500 miles to visit a relative one hadn?t seen in a year. Oh, I don't know. Something like a warm hug, engaging conversation, and an invitation to sit down and take a freakin' load off. Certainly not a verbal slingshot right between the eyes. This was only a taste of things to come. While there for the weekend, I witnessed such emotional atrocities on her part I wondered how he had managed to grow into the gentle soul he was verses an ax murdering ghoul. It seemed most of what spewed forth from that venomous mouth of hers was devised to chip away at his very soul, and I even witnessed her break out in a menacing grin after one particularly nasty jab. Upon leaving her residence at the end of the weekend, I found myself feeling completely drained, even though I wasn?t the target of her abuse. The woman was, among her other attributes, a psychic vampire of the worst order. Similar to the topic starter?s situation, this woman took the brunt of her abuse out on Jeremy and left the other two siblings alone. In fact, she actually funded their respective college educations but left Jeremy to fend for himself. Having grown up in a very supportive family unit I was at a loss to her foul behavior. Weeks later, something about Jeremy?s situation dawned on me: His two siblings looked like their mother. Jeremy did not. He looked more like his mother?s first husband, whom she despised. And many of her insults were aimed at his physical appearance but he had never made the connection. I also noticed she was deriving pleasure from his pained responses to her emotional abuse. I think she could sense his frailty and sensitivity and like the vampire she was, continued to feed off his discomfort. On the other side of the coin, I think his expectations toward her may have too high as is the case with most of us before we realize parents are only human. She was not educated, had gotten knocked up at sixteen. When I met her she must have been at least 60, and from what I could surmise she still hadn?t grown up and while she feigned being the responsible citizen about town, attending protestant services, volunteering at the church and other charitable endeavors, she was a total demon toward her own son. This is not the hallmark of a secure, mature individual and in my estimation she should never have had children in the first place. I am of the mind most people should not procreate, for that matter. They simply do not have the psychological makeup for it so the horror stories come as no surprise to me anymore. For anyone faced with a dilemma like this I would first ask them to adopt an objective perspective (not easy, I know) and stand outside the situation as a stranger might. This will give you insights you would otherwise miss. In Jeremy?s case, he later confirmed his mother did, in fact, resent the fact he bore more physical resemblance to his father than her. In fact, he looked nothing like her. Sometimes the motivation for abusive behavior is really this superficial. My advice to him was to stop reacting (in his usual way) to her insults, thus depriving her of the satisfaction and motive to continue her assaults.
  14. Outside the sophomoric (and oh so pungeunt) realm of the junior high locker room, I find myself questioning how the flinging about of "FALSE" definitives helps further productive debate on the subject at hand, short of intimidating the less bold (or the less verbose?) into submission. Maybe it?s just me. I?ve always taken exception with internet ?shouting? as it strikes me uncivil and counter-productive to rational discourse in a realm where all we have at our disposal are words. The topic at hand here is the inherent toxity of the highly questionable H1N1 vaccine alleged to counter the curious swine flu, which above poster claims is less malignant than the virus itself. Time and history, I fear, continues to demonstrate otherwise. As some within this thread have wisely noted, (including above poster if I?m not mistaken), the virus itself has been trumped up to fear-mongering panic levels far in excess of it?s actual threat, thanks to - in my observation - our fascist/controlled media. Simply put, H1N1 appears at this time to be just another flu virus, albeit of dubious origin. And much of what I?ve gathered thus far demonstrates the so-called ?cure? is worse than the disease. Far worse. I find myself in disagreement with above argument but more specifically the poster's negative shout, which violates my sense of internet protocol. My understanding is a live virus is in indeed inherent in the HINI Flumist vaccine. The following documentation substantiates my initial and secondary submissions, those being the recently treated are in fact contagious to those they come in contact with. Kindly focus your attentions to the last sentence (in italics): Above submission should lay to rest unfounded beliefs the misinformed have regarding the volatile and very real contagious nature of those recently compromised with H1N1 vaccine. Those still suffering under the misguided delusion they can't catch flu from the recently treated would be advised to remove the rose colored glasses lest they become unwilling vectors of H1N1. Following this illogical line of thought, I may as well throw myself off the nearest cliff because I?m going to die someday anyway, right? Or, since my tap water may contain trace levels of pharmaceutical psychotropics, injecting Prozac directly into my blood stream might not be such a bad idea. A fitting philosophy for the suicidal, defeatist nihilist, I suppose. But those who actually embrace life would be well advised to think twice before laying themselves prostrate before governments' latest fascist experiment. As was stated in a previous post, a vaccine (unlike a fillet of dead salmon) bypasses the body?s normal defenses and is no way analogous to everyday hazards which come into play. Well, maybe a poor analogy. Very poor. The Health Protection Agency would disagree, per correspondence sent to 600 neurologists regarding a previous swine flu vaccination experiment inflicted on the public, circa 1976. Following are highlights than anyone with internet access can easily confirm: Make no mistake, the current swine flu experiment is just that, as it has been forced on a gullible public sans the rigorous testing any product should undergo before public release. I'm supposed to roll up my sleeve or bare my nasal cavities to this garbage? They will have to find unwitting guinea pigs elsewhere, I'm afraid. And we have yet to see H1N1's full toxic fallout unravel. The above submissions are not conjecture, "rumor," or crazed conspiracy dreamt up while the Enlightened Misanthrope was under the influence of 100% Agave Tequila (although this time of year I prefer Scotch). On the contrary, the evidence above speaks for itself, and presents a strong argument against needlessly exposing oneself to Baxter's H1N1's toxic money making venture.
  15. Many thanks to the topic starter for dedicating a thread to this much ignored topic. This is freakin' H-U-G-E and absolutely devastating to the various and sundry promoters of the global warming hoax. So why has the lamestream, er, I mean mainstream media remained largely silent on this issue? Oh, wait a minute. I think I answered my own rhetorical query. Naturally their lying lips are sealed, as our criminal media have long been willing handmaidens of this fraudulent pseudo-science that is widely chastised by reputable scientists. But media chooses to ignore the scientific majority who remain staunch in their refutation of the bogus theory. Global warming my a*s. If anything, the planet is cooling. Experts not withstanding, I don't need no stinking talking head to tell me the winters have been getting colder and wetter of late. There was no Indian Summer here this year. Last year, snow piled up so high folks had to shovel it off their roofs so the ceilings wouldn't cave in. This year promises to be worse, if current precipitation data is any indicator. So now, those who attempt to shape public opinion have changed their sinister tune from global warming to the vague, "climate change." The ultimate goal, of course, being to tax you into complete oblivion. As I'm sure our resident weather man can tell you, the climate is always changing. Reminds of the old axiom, "She changes her mind like the weather." Al Gore? The man is an unspeakable snake oil salesman who stands to gain a fortune from taxing your very breath, your....carbon emissions. How dare you as a flesh and blood mammal the audacity to use your lungs for breathing! You thought your taxes were high before? Wait till the NGO think tanks who pull Gore's rotten puppet strings find a way to push their "climate change" agenda into your living room and ultimately, your wallet. The author of the Inconvenient Truth should be inconveniently arrested (perhaps while he's jetting about in his private, carbon emitting airplane), and sent to prison for fraud. Oh, what a happy day that would be. I can dream, can't I?
  16. Following is my response to post #3: The supposition the vaccine contains dead or weakened H1N1 virus doesnt preclude its danger or the contagious condition it renders the unfortunate recipient. A vaccine gives you a low level form of the illness to activate your bodys own defenses, thus giving it the resistance to the exact virus in question without (you hope) making you ill. The vaccine wouldnt work at all if you didnt get the illness, weather or not you actually exhibit symptoms. To illustrate, most children of 30 years ago got mumps from being exposed to others with mumps. After getting the mumps, the kid can go play with other kids all day long even if every one of them has mumps and he/she doesnt have to worry about getting it again because his/her body is now immune to that particular virus. The goal today is to give the child the mumps in a weakened state (vaccine) so the kid can get the mumps without being inconvenienced while still having acquired immunity to it. Sounds reasonable on paper and it perhaps can work much of the time without consequence. But there are those pesky, often deadly consequences that appear to rearing their uglier heads more often as of late The extra ingredients documented in post #1 have absolutely no business in the vaccine, and make me wonder if perhaps the makers of the H1N1 vaccine have alterior motives. Since the vaccines are known to contain dangerous heavy metals (mercury and aluminum) that are also known to have high neuro-toxicity to humans and other mammals, and are also known to have residual toxicity (they are collected and contained within the fatty tissues of the brain and elsewhere for the life of the person) and interact with other chemicals in harmful ways (for example: fluoride has a much more deleterious effect upon the subjects intellect when combined with aluminum than it would alone), I am left wondering if someone somewhere wants children to be less intelligent than they were years ago. If so, they're doing a very good job attaining this goal! The condition of asthma appears now at a much higher rate ever before in the history of breathing, and appears to be on the increase. One cause of asthma has been linked to vaccinations. Im betting poster #3 was vaccinated as a tot. Thats not the only known cause, but its been shown as a strong correlation in scientific studies. An article by a Medical Doctor, Dr. Horowitz, who supports this view can be read here: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Of course there are numerous studies to counter this, but those studies were financed by the very entities Im speaking out against. So you can go ahead and believe the studies bought and paid for by mass murderers if so desired. Just like you can believe the studies paid for by the tobacco industry concluding their product isnt addictive. Or how about the latest scandal known as Climate-gate where its shown through emails and other documentation that real science was and is being subverted and marginalized by dirty politics and money in whats quickly becoming the biggest scandal of science in the history (modern) of science. But, to conclude my point, the necessary meds to control asthma are not in the discussion of vaccines in any way. Im happy the afflicted got control over this disease, but perhaps hed never have gotten it in the first place if not for the vaccination program in place during his childhood. This is only an assumption on my part, of course. I, like Anwiii, have never gotten a vaccination, and I get sick only on the rarest occasions. I never got sick as a youth, even when so many around me were coming down with the flu - miraculously after getting stuck. When you inject any foreign material directly into the bloodstream, you bypass your bodys natural defenses thus putting blind faith in the creators (in this case, the highly suspect and criminal Baxter corporation) of the injected material instead of the divine wisdom of your own body. Theres no way to influence people who are controlled by the fear they have had instilled in them by the medical establishment. If thats you, gentle reader, at least have the courtesy of quarantining yourself so as not to give this abomination to the rest of us. If not, ask questions and research, research, research. Even the label on the vaccines indicates they are not safe to take. Add to this the FACT the pharmaceutical companies were given immunity to law suits due to malpractice by federal law passed during the waning days of the Bush Administration (or Regime, if you prefer)( search engine: CONGRESS SET TO PASS LAW ELIMINATING LIABILITY FOR VACCINE INJURIES, or see this blog: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ ). Im not going to document every last word I say on this, or any subject for that matter. My goal is to offer alternative viewpoints, and maybe, just maybe, instill the spark of inquiring discernment so many seem to have lost in this age of blind subservience to so-called authorities a subservience I find inexcusable in modern, industrialized society. We have a world of information literally at our fingertips. There is no excuse for blindly accepting what you see propagated as truth by controlled media and mainstream medicine. Dont believe me either! Question everything. In this age of the Internet, research can take a matter of seconds. 17. Before we proceed, lets see what they think of this whole controversy in Canada, a land I lovingly refer to this time of year as The Great White North: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Ok. Now that weve seen the good side of crack, er, vaccines, lets get serious. Heres a short list of some of the ingredients that should concern any thinking person: (from http://www.rense.com/general86/dngers.htm ): Some speculate that future (or current) dictators will enact laws making resisting getting stuck a crime against the State, as they continue to push propaganda that portrays resisters (i.e. independent thinkers) as a danger to the population. From what I've discerned from both mainstream and unbiased sources -and personal observation- the danger is not from resisters, but the brain-dead masses who blindly roll up their sleeves to any questionable vaccine being pushed by the corportacracy, otherwise known as the "government." These folks have no idea what is in these vaccines, and half the time, neither do their ill-informed doctors. I am of the opinion that the vaccinated are not only a danger to themselves, but the many who had the good sense to resist the fear-mongering, pro-HINI vaccine campaign. At the very least, the newly inoculated should consider waiting for vaccine-induced flu symptoms to pass before venturing forth among among humanity. If you really think that The Creator didnt design you well enough to fend off bacteria and viruses effectively and think its a good idea to bypass all your bodys natural defenses by piercing your skin with a syringe full of some of the most toxic ingredients grown in diseased monkeys and cruelly harvested from their kidneys (See the movie Outbreak), then I'm afraid words may escape me. Following are a few more U-Tube videos to give you more to think about: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
  18. In the recent past, the United States government, in all its wisdom, enacted a policy that any vitamin or mineral health supplement that has not been tested by the FDA has to carry a label on the packaging saying that it hasn?t been proven to have any therapeutic benefit. This was a ploy by the large rich drug companies to try and cast doubt over their competitors? claims for natural supplements from ingredients that have been used for ages (literally) to treat symptoms that Big Pharma can?t synthesize in a laboratory somewhere. There are numerous examples and one that comes to mind is Valarian Root Extract, used as a muscle relaxant. You can overdose on this herb and probably cause a wreck or damage yourself if you decide to operate heavy machinery when you use it, especially if you add a glass of alcohol to it (my favorite combination..hehe). But, that?s really a good way to get the best effect from it too, just as long as you?re in bed looking for a good night of sleep. It?s safe if used per the label, but no one?s going to spend millions of dollars just to get the fascist FDA to put its stamp of approval on the bottle. It?s really a matter of common sense. Before this inane rule took effect, those same products were safe. Nothing has changed inside the bottle, it?s what?s outside the bottle that?s changed.
  19. A family friend of mine was sick as a dog (sorry about the pun Sheepdog -couldn't resist:) just a week ago. Curious about she fell ill I grilled her and her other half for details, thinking in the back of my mind the flu somehow played a part. Seems her husband joined some club a couple years ago and has become more and more active of late. Not long ago he went to one of his meetings and noticed that one of the members was hacking throughout. He asked the member, knowing what the answer was, if he had gone and gotten his flu shot and the member answered in the affirmative. As soon as he got home, "Tim" mixed up a disturbingly large dose of garlic and Vitamin C and tossed it down the hatch. She asked and he told her what had transpired at the meeting:The new guy, "John", was a cowboy all his life until recently when he sold his large ranch and moved in to town to retire with his wife. John isn't educated at all in any way most people would know and hasn't developed a healthy distrust for his government or their "FDA licensed medical professionals". He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam where he was awarded all kinds of medals including the purple heart. I'm sure most people would consider him some kind of hero but Tim, who has no purple heart but did serve in the military, now just considers him an illiterate germ incubator. After taking two steps back after asking the first question, he inquired of John which inoculation he'd been pricked with and John, with a wide grin answered, "I didn't ask".Every alarm bell in his head told him to panic and run the other direction and ask no more questions, but, being civil, Tim excused himself and went to the washroom to attempt to sterilize his hands, but to no avail. He brought it home with him that night and my friend didn't take the necessary measures he did when she should have and began to come down with flu symptoms herself. The next day, after catching "John's Disease", she called me, hysterical, and when she'd told me what happened, I advised her to begin a regimen of high dose powdered "C" (dissolved in water), garlic, and cayenne pepper -enough to quell a charging herd of elephants- and it stopped the progression of symptoms in its tracks. It still took a good week for all the symptoms to disappear entirely, along with about $20 worth of powered "C" while her husband never got sick because he countered the attack the same night he come in to contact with John, and continued the powdered "C" treatment for a couple days after.. My point is, it's not necessary to take the shot to catch the flu, but it's pretty much guaranteed you'll catch the flu, and pass it on to others, when you take the shot. On a side note, at the next meeting, one of the other members who'd been privy to "John's Disease" had indeed come down with it and passed it on to his wife and son.It might be worth noting that, according to the CDC and other health agencies, the flu strain used in the vaccine being pricked into unsuspecting trusting souls this autumn in North America isn't the same strain as that being spread through its normal, non-inoculation, mode. Chances are if you get the shot, you'll get that strain and still get the other strain as well. The flu virus mutates so frequently (and unpredictably) the vaccine manufactures often can't get a product out the door and in your arm in time to fight their target before it mutates -making the vaccine completely ineffective for its intended purpose, but still infecting the population with that strain. A lose-lose proposition if you ask me.
  20. Hi inverse_bloom! Id hate to see this experience prevent you from enjoying the company of a beloved companion animal again. I have learned my lesson (the hard way), and in the future will keep all pets indoors under my watchfull eye. As Sheepdog wisely notes, there are simply too many hazards in the great outback of the back yard. I admire your positive perspective, anwiii, Oh, if only my sweet Vladimir were suffering from a common case of wanderlust. But alas, this boy was not so common. Every morning I look at the sliding glass window, hoping against hope Ill see his elegant siloutte gracing the back porch. I have grown up with cats of all sorts but Vladimirs loss is especially painful. This fine feline was, dare I say, more human than human. The pure love and intelligence in his eyes was unmistakable. Im sure other pet owners can relate here. Vladimir Putin entered a meditative state upon hearing rain drops hit the roof, he aquired a taste for Wagnerian opera but left the room when assaulted with modern music. He was a gentlemen and mentor to the ruffian rescue kitty, Nigel, who now wanders about the house aimlessly, obviously devastated by the loss of his beloved elder. Nigels personality is not unlike dufus, though Id hardly equate you with such a derogatory term. I often wonder if people understand the power of words and vibrations, and how animals become what we name them. Too bad you didnt have a say in naming poor dufus. Nigel is now fearful of the outdoors, which I suppose is a good thing. His tail is bent, as if held half staff in memory of Vladimir. Nigel saw something. I fear he saw sweet Vladimir taken by creatures of the night. Hey Sheepdog! Good to see you again. I wish my sweet Vladimir had the protection of your brave Komondors that fateful night.
  21. Two weeks come and gone and I know I've forgotten something:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, for crying out loud!! I shall do a cartwheel while sucking back a bottle of Dom Perignon in your fine honor. Salude!

  22. Sorry to hear the family and you came down with the flu this year. With the advent of the nasal spray and the number of people getting stuck with a very virulent, contagious strain, I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. You may want to keep some powdered Vitamin C on hand to prevent future contamination. Nasal irrigation with salt water is also beneficial when you feel you may have been exposed. My older sister is now getting flu shots every year and as a result she now gets sick with the flu, where before she did not. She'll call me out of the blue and say she's been off work for a week feeling sick. Then I say, "oh, did you get a flu shot?" As you can probably imagine, the answer is a very embarrassed, "yes." It would be interesting to see (unbiased) statistics on this matter.
  23. When my sister and I were in grammar school I often wondered why we didn?t come down with the flu every year like our classmates. We did, after all, attend the same classes, sing in the same cathedral, and play recess in the same field. Admittingly I found ways to escape throwing balls back and forth but I was stuck in the same stuffy rooms with the other prisoners, privy to the same germs. I actually felt we were missing out on something. A right of passage if you will. Our classmates, you see, were allowed to stay home for having acquired this terrible virus. How, I wondered, could I go about catching this wondrous thing called the ?flu? so I too would be given free passage from school for a week or two. Oh, to be free of that place for an entire week! But my sister and I never did acquire the flu. Years later, and still flu free, I reflect on the wisdom of our mother who never allowed us to get stuck by any nasty vaccine ? especially an influenza vaccine. The other kids parents were not so enlightened. They got stuck. Guess what? They came down with the flu. Nowadays, It seems the vaccine continues to bring about the very illness it professes to keep at bay. I personally don?t know anyone suffering from the flu that didn?t also get stuck with a flu vaccine, or was infected by a flu nasal-spray recipient who sneezed all over him or her. What has your experience been with flu viruses? Did you get sick after getting stuck, and spread it to others? Do you think flu vaccines are counter-productive? Or do you think they are a necessary evil?
  24. Hi anwiii, thank you for the kind words of encouragement. The worst part is not knowing what happened to this sweet cat with any degree of certainty. Vladimir Putin was a true homeboy, a good boy who never strayed far from the house. He was also a large boy with a kitty pouch who made a point of never missing a meal, especially breakfast., so I knew something was terribly wrong when he wasnt there like clockwork for his kitty chou. There are no close neighbors around here. Being in the backwoods of the Rocky Mountain foothills and two hours from the nearest metropolis my nearest neighbor is too far away for Vladimir to have ventured off. Heck, he wouldnt have gone to the neighbors house if it were ten feet away. There is no road nearby that he could have gotten hit by a car on. After this happened I was hoping for the best, and I made a missing pet sign with his picture which I posted near the county road. Granted, it took me a few days to get around to making the sign as at first looking at his picture was too painful. I offered a very generous reward for anyone with information leading to his safe reward. Weeks later there has been no reply. I am sadly left with the likely prospect he was stolen away in the night by a coyote or other deadly critter.
  25. Great post, Inversebloom. I have discovered the hard way my backyard is indeed infested with dangerous and deadly critters, and sadly, they are of the feline-eating pursuasion. You see, one of my precious gattos was taken three weeks ago, by what, Im not sure - though I suspect a canine. You can see my boys picture here: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ (scroll down to my boys photo). He is the beautiful gray cat on the left. His name was Vladimir Putin and he didnt deserve what happened to him. It happened early one morning, around 3am. I had to leave early that day to drive across the state and my precious puddy wanted to go out, so I let him out, moron that I am. Something was telling me not to but I didnt listen to my instinct. When I got home, there was no sweet Vladimir scratching at the sliding glass door to get in. It was due to my ignorance of the wild that he fell prey to the dark of the night. I went over all possibilities in my head. We have owl, cougar, Canadian lynx, black bear, some even say grizzly, raccoons, turkey vultures, raptors of all pursuasion, wild dogs abandoned by their people, and..coyote. After talking to neighbor who had lost several cats to coyotes, I came to the conclusion they were probably the culprits. He said the coyotes were actually walking up to his deck and snatching his animals, then dragging them back to their den. This idiot and his troll of a "woman" had fifty-plus cats and apparently did nothing to stop the coyote onslaught. Anyone with more than twenty cats is a what I call a collector. He was not running a shelter and apparently not taking care of the poor cats. Because of him the local coyotes became quite comfortable preying on domestic felines. As for me, I have learned my lesson. My remaining cat is a true home boy now. What sickens me most is my precious Vladimir lost his life due to my negligence as his care taker. I am more angry at myself than the deadly critters who lurk in the bush.
