Mastering my army of Super Penguins armed with plastic safety scissors, bent of taking over the world. All hell was about to break loose, when suddenly, George Bussh and John Kerry showed up, in person without their respective campaign managers. My knees trembling, my dream balancing on what happens next.... John Kerry stepped forward as I crouched and started to debate with himself. I was in awe for he actually was arguing against everything he had once stood for. I was relieved until George Bush stepped forward. But, with Cheney having a heart attack and not around to hold little Georgey's hand, he found joy in playing with one of my smaller penguins. That penguin was my part of my special artic unit, he was going to be okay from this ordeal, he'll have to suffer for now. With both Kerry and Bush distracted, I summoned my ultimate weapon, Howard Dean. He quickly made haste with the two and I was left to conquer the world at last! But, as I was about to make my last move to power, I failed to remember to bring along my supple of fish for my comrades. Blast, failed by a supply weakness. Maybe next year....

  1. So the best thing, I run into volleyball teams, make pot smokers paranoid (Like I'll call the cops) and generally get to see all sorts of crazy going ons, Does anyone have any fun stories about hotel stays/employment? I'd like to see that I am not the only one.....
  2. This war will never end, in my eyes - I will always hold to the blood, in my cries - It will rage on as if my life means nothing A breath of fresh air is hard to believe in anymore, I wish to just sit and play and listen to singing- Made by those that rested on shores, I just want to look into the mirror and not see any scars, Know when I laugh it's in joyous times See my Father and Mother and always know who they are, It will rage on as if my life were a crime, A breath of fresh air is hard to believe in anymore And I know when I laugh it's not in a joyous time, It rages on as if my life means nothing I wish to just sit and play and listen to the singing A breath of fresh air is hard to believe in anymore Made by those who rest in the waves on the shore. I will always hold to the blood, in my cries - This war will never end, in my eyes -
  3. Here we go again,On this merry-go-round,But when did it stop being merry? No laughter to hear, not one sound.Soon I will be gone and away,Not to be beckoned near,Nothing will bring me close,This is my greatest fear.A hundred thousand miles will separate,A hundred thousand tears will fall,A hundred thousand doubts will rise,A hundred thousand dreams will stall.Soon I will be a memory in her mind,A face hard to remember,A caress hard to feel,A fire burnt down to an ember.I will burn, cry, hate and fear,I will laugh, love, joke and smile,All in the span of a single phone call,Onto the floor my fears will pile. But here I will sit,With the knowledge I keep,Always wondering,How am I in so deep?
  4. What manner of life do we treadOnward to lands less traveledMen never met tell me where to goPolicies I never wrote do I defendMy hands are bloodied from the coldMy face burnt from the windSkin chapped and swollenChafed from the unfriendly terrainMemories of home haunt my dreamsLast rites to happiness carry me fartherMy life a chaotic restless fightI, a soldier, never aloneI fight the causes of my leadersTomorrow a new day rising in the EastYesterday now a burning pastBut for today my duty I carryFor I, a soldier, silent and strongNever ask of tomorrowAnd yesterday I try to forget
  5. The Circus lights have been put out.The tents all packed away.Along with your hope and happiness.Preserved for another day.An empty field of forgotten dreams. And soiled stagnant love.Stained with circumstantial evidence.Drowned with cheaply made drugs. One last light left in the dark.Flickering and dying down. The tragedy of purity's death.Screaming without a sound. The fuel is dying as wagons roll. And the well is drying fast.Reality siphons out everything. To see who's standing last. As all illusions are stripped away. And your delirium's torn apart. Will you stand complete and whole?Or slowly fall apart? So swallow your pills to save yourselves. And pray you make it through. But as you're sinking further down.I'll start overwhelming you.Sometimes I wish that I could fall. And be lost, dead in the tide. But every time I start to sink.I remember reasons not to hide.
  6. The one big problem with Gmail is that they do a lot of tracking. Check it out in the privacy notice. You think they are just going to dump a gig on you for free and not get something good in return? They ID you with every action you do through the service. Is this going to stop me? Nope, I'm still going to use it because honestly, if someone wants to watch me check the weather, fine I don't give a hoot!
  7. The improvement that Halo needs is to have a fully interactive enviroment. I love the game and I really don't see anyway that I would change it. Sometime, you should look up High impact halo. It's a fun site that has recordings of Halo tricks and bugs. There are several video clips. Halo DOES NOT suck. It's a great game built on great technology.
  8. I could live my entire life without another Ricky Martin, backstreet boys, 98 degrees, Vanilla Ice, Busta Rhymes, Hotel, Twisted Sister or Pet Shop Boys. But, I think the world may have been better off with a little more 2Live Crew. They are my heros, cause me so horny!
  9. I've just gotten out of the military, so that kinda of puts a good spin on ANY job that I get. Currently I'm working as a engineer at a hotel here in Austin, Tx. I love my job, I get to meet people all the time and everyone is always friendly to me. The way I see it, no matter where my path leads, I'm always going to have a smile on my face. I'm proud of who I am and that will take me far in life.
  10. I actually just came across them the other day when I was searching for good indie bands. I downloaded every song they had and I love them all. Elton John cursed Madonna when she got nominated in the UK for best live act and he accused her of lip synching live performances. Well, he was releaved when Muse won instead. I think the ydeserved it, great band, if you haven't heard them yet, you should...
  11. I've had both DSL and cable and I've become a faithful cable user. Every one I know (even though they throughput is technically the same in some cases) says that cable is faster. I have always noticed a difference between the two ands I've always loved my cable modem even more. But if your in a area where EVERYONE uses cable, then through bandwidth could suffer... It's really up to the area.
  12. Actually, I was looking around for a quality hosting service in another forum. It seems that Xisto has a lot of support and even more in the way of telling me to use them. So, I'm gonig to give it a whirl and see where it takes me. This forum (and the idea behind it) is a good idea, a way to keep the community giving back...
  13. All I got to say is that we have two idiot savants running for a crown. If Howard Dean were running, well, I'd vote for him and I'm a republican. He's too up front though, he'd never make it past the rest of the politicians. Both of our president to be's are morons that have become experts in avoiding the questions posed to them. I wish I could run, but I'm not that ambitious, hehe....
  14. Best band ever? Well that is a hard one to choose. I think it'll have to be Ween. I love the way they have such a large variety of songs, from the country sound to punk. Oh, well, I also have a slight lean towards early NIN. But that's just me. if I had to choose a oldie but goodie it'll be Johnny Cash.
