Yep, I know exactly what you mean and how you feel.Unfortunately its a very sad cycle, and I think one of the major reasons for it is the monotonous routine this world revolves around: go to school, get a job, retire, die.There is really a hell of a lot more to life than that. We have to take steps in our own lives to not get trapped in that routine. This isn't saying you can't go to school and get a great job, but at the same time, don't let that reality define who and what you are. Don't just let the routine make you into something. Make yourself into something and strive for more than what everyone wants of you, and strive for more than the routine offers.

Ok, I've really been looking into this a lot lately. Honestly, it is a very scary thought. Let me explain what I am talking about. Ok, we all know how vast the internet is right? So imagine, with all those billions and billions of web pages, if your the owner of a large company, it must be very hard to shove your product down the throats of everyone through use of the internet. Unlike the television, the internet allows people to decide for themselves, we have access to tonnes of information and conflicting opinions, where as before the internet, we had television, which was largely owned by the same people, and we had the same messages continually thrown at us. So, if we have more freedom because of the internet, what does this mean for those companies? Well it means that they begin to lose money, it means that they no longer have such a large control over a vast population. So how do they solve this? Well, what the companies and our Internet Service Providers (ISP) have been planning is to offer us packages. These packages will be along the lines of '29.99 for 60 websites'. Ok, so its not so bad at first glance, but what are all the results of this? 1) You have to pay an extra fee to access websites like Xisto, game faqs, etc. etc. All these small websites that have a specific audience. Ok, so big deal right, I'll just pay a little extra per month. Ah, you may, but I can guarantee you that the majority of users will not go that extra mile. The result is, the viewership of those smaller websites gets majorly cut. Those websites ad money goes down because they are getting less viewers, and eventually, there really won't be a point to having the websites exist anymore (no one visits them after all), so the owners shut them down. So we have the loss of tonnes of communities, etc. 2) Small businesses, bands, etc. lose the medium through which they are able to sell their products. 3) We lose freedom. Think about it, the internet gives us access to countless ideas, conflicting beliefs, debates, etc. It allows us to choose based on what WE look at. If the internet becomes another t.v. service, we are back to square one: we have no alternative but what those in power show us. If this happens, it will be a very terrible loss. I voted for the XBox 360.I also own a PS2 and a N64 ...Anyways, I haven't been playing games all that much recently. I've been spending far more time listening to music, etc. I think one of the major reasons I haven't been playing as much is that I also haven't bought any new games in a few months. Again, this is due to music . I've been buying quite a bit each month. (I have also been buying band t-shirts, etc... but not as much).One of my favorite games for the 360 has got to be Devil May Cry 4, its so fun! Although... I've been stuck on mission six of "Dante Must Die" mode... freakin' dice rolling sucks...I also own Assassin's Creed... great game... but unfortunately, it has absolutely no replay value at all.If and when I buy some new games... First off all, streaming music from the internet isn't really even allowed, unless the creator/record label agrees to it. Also, the issue with people recording the music while it is being streamed, etc. isn't really even an issue. It sounds so terrible when it is recorded, its basically pointless.

I will most definitely TRY to participate in some new tournaments.. however, I don't plan on participating in signature tournaments... as far as I am concerned, I don't enjoy creating signatures because: everyone else is doing, and they are becoming monotonous. Well, as a male, I find this to be quite an interesting topic. Why are guys so inclined to this type of unnecessary sexual and perverted behavior? I think that one of the major reasons for this is that, in short, we have been brainwashed. Look at the media, the music videos on MTV/Much Music/etc. they are full of sexual images, and the have created a world full of lustful animals. Not to mention the pornography industry, which undoubtedly has tempted 100% of males who know what a vagina is to spend countless hours in front of the computer/t.v./etc. watching the perverted images flash across the screen. The world around us has turned women into an object of pleasure, and this is utterly wrong, and a perversion of what God intended for us. Unfortunately, this is a common misconception. As sad as it seems, every male, whether you can admit it or not, is like this. Of course, others have this problem to a more extreme degree (like what gisellebebegirl witnessed), and some have it to a much lesser extent. For a real life example, I'd like to use one of my friends, who shall be called 'Bob'. Every time Bob sees a women, he will usually decide to inform me of whether she is hot/sexy or not. Now to some of you, this may not seem like a problem. You may say something along the lines of, "That is only a compliment." However, when you look much deeper into this you can see that Bob only values women for how they look. Why is this so? The FIRST judgement he makes about a women he meets is on how she looks. So instead of treating her like a human, you begin to treat her like an object. It is like purchasing a vehicle solely on it's aesthetics. Of course, due to the chemicals/hormones and generally how our brains our wired, we cannot help but feel inclined to think about sex. I myself have struggled with pornography, and other lustful desires. But, from my own experience, I believe that we are able to over come such desires, and reverse how we think. We are able (but we must be willing) to change how we view women. We can change this view from a disgusting one where women are treated as objects used for pleasure, to one where we consider them humans. To sum up my opinion... I guess you could say the following. We are naturally inclined to be disgusting animals. This is not helped by the world in which we live, in fact, these animal desires are only enhanced by it. If us men are ever able to overcome this, we must realize how we are treating women is wrong, and we must change it.

To my knowledge, marijuana is only mentally addicting. It has no chemicals such as nicotine in it that would cause you to be physically addicted to it. However, it is often the case that people will mix marijuana and tobacco together. At this point it would be both mentally and physically addicting.As for pure marijuana without tobacco, really the only reason it would be mentally addicting would be if you became addicted to the high that it brought you. I suppose there could be other reasons, but I am not aware of them. I have also heard that mixing tobacco and marijuana results in something that is much worse than a single cigarette. Apparently, one of those is similar to smoking multiple cigarettes. I imagine that cancer causing agents, and other chemicals either have an enhanced effect, or the marijuana itself adds to the damage.I have also heard that marijuana can result in brain damage, or perhaps equally as bad, makes you stupid .As for legalization, I do not really care. I think that if someone decides to smoke marijuana they should be allowed to do so. After all, there is much more harmful materials available, such as alcohol.

I used to play games a whole lot... but I don't play them so much anymore... Contraception is used to prevent a pregnancy, while abortion is used to end pregnancy. Contraception should not even be considered the same as abortion, if anything, contraception helps to prevent abortions. However, you are correct contraception does technically end the chance of a baby 'who could have been a great artist', etc. However, that is only one argument that you have been able to disprove.

I already stated in the 'Abortion' thread that I do not believe it is my place to decide what the punishment should be for the people who commit the crime, and I do not want to.However, IF I absolutely had to choose... I believe that the punishment should be that of any other murder, and that both the person that consented for the abortion to take place and the one performing the abortion should be punished.If you have the stomach for it, search for pictures of aborted babies, what you will see is something utterly disgusting. You cannot tell me that is not a gruesome as any other murder, and the penalties should be as such.
