  1. I don't consider high school a waste of time... and especially not money, since my government pays for most of it... rofl...Aside from that, the reason I don't think high school is a waste of time is because I like to learn.I would rather be in school learning about things than be stuck with a full-time job and in debt, paying bills, etc. After all... KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!.. hhahaha....
  2. I finally got my first job just a week or two ago!I work at a local grocery store, stocking shelves, bringing carts in from outside, helping people put groceries in their vehicles, etc.Its a pretty good job, and I'm definitely enjoying it so far. Hopefully I'll be able to keep it
  3. Alright, time for yet another debate... I'd like to point out, that the reason why we were created was so that we can worship God, and love Him. If God didn't give us free will, that love and worship is really quite meaningless, and there would be no point to it. Also, as you said "... his own children...". Every person on this earth is not a child of God. The vast majority of people do not follow Him. They are rebellious and they rightly deserve Hell for it. In fact everyone on this planet deserves Hell, even those who do follow Him. However, He has shown those who do follow Him grace, and they will not end up in Hell.
  4. Hello again everyone! I added a forum to my website yesterday, enjoy! http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Also, I plan to feature forum users' art on my website as they post it!
  5. Yeah... there is only one post on the news page rofl... it'll have more soon... haha... Yeah, I've been looking at integrating the shoutbox for a while now... hopefully I'll do that soon. I'm not sure what you mean about the affiliates part though... I'll look towards improving those in the future... Yeah, that'll become necessary eventually... maybe I could have a part that expands out when clicked.. hm... that is definitely a good idea... I'll see what I can do about it, although it may not be happening any time soon.
  6. ^ Thanks and all... but would you mind explaining what aspects my website is lacking? ^
  7. Well aware of that... and if that was an attempt to discredit the Bible, I assure you, everything God wants in the Bible is there, nothing less, nothing more. Agreed, it is natural for us to sin. Also, why do you consider what is said in Genesis about Adam & Eve to be idiocy? A talking snake you say? I don't consider that so ridiculous when it was Satan presenting himself in the form of a serpent. Regardless of whether or not snakes can talk, it is clear that Adam & Eve were tempted, they gave in, and there you have the fall of man. I'd really like to dissect this point of what you have said.Although I agree that it is natural for man to sin, it seems that you present this idea by stating that we sin because we have evolved into a more complex being capable of doing so. On that I have to disagree. In the beginning (pun intended), God created us able to make the choice whether to rebel against Him, or obey Him. We were GIVEN the ability to make this choice, we did not develop it. Other organisms on this Earth were not given that ability. What are the advantages of a belief in God over a belief in Atheism? I follow Christ not for my own benefit, but so that he may be glorified and honored. After all, that is why we have been created. You seem to have the warped view that whatever you believe in must be the truth.. honestly that is the root of your question. by asking me to "In all seriousness list all the advantages belief in god will have for me over athiesm" it really seems like you are saying that if I believe in atheism, it is right, or if I believe in God it is right. I am sorry to break this to you, but there can only be one truth. God exists, or He does not. The point is not the advantages of the beliefs the point is believing the truth. All sin is deadly. All sin is a disorder. It doesn't sound all that unfair to me. No, you cannot blame talking serpents for our suffering. WE MADE THE CHOICE TO REBEL AGAINST GOD! rofl... incest alert... haha.. ok... Our genes, and genetics in general have definitely changed quite a bit over the thousands of years since Noah's ark and the Great Flood. I do not think that disfigurement would have occurred in those days for incest. Also, it was not sinful at that point, and would not have such consequences as disfigurement... etc..
  8. Hmmm... You say that you have a hard time believing that someone is able to help you if you accept them into your heart. I'd like to make a point that the reason why you choose to accept the grace that God is willing to offer you, is so that you can live for Him. You do not make that choice so that you will feel better, you make that choice so that you can bring glory to God! You make that choice so that you can enter God's presence and worship Him! I am very sorry to hear that you have already made the choice not to accept God's grace. But please remember, you can make the choice to accept it anywhere and at any time in your life. It is YOU who makes that choice, and the choice you make will decide what happens to you at the end of your life.
  9. You asked why dieing would help you. I will explain it to you. As you are human, you obviously commit sins. The price of sin is death. In other words, because you sin, you will die. If you never sinned, you would never die. However, we as humans are born into a sort of 'sin-nature' because our parents and those before them have sinned. Since this 'sin' demands death, the cost would normally fall on you. However, because Jesus died for the sins of all of man, if you accept that gift from Him, you yourself do not have to face death to pay for your sins. As for the Bible being a book of stories: many of these 'stories' have been historically proven. Obviously, they haven't been imagined.
  10. I can't take credit for the picture thingy... thats a free script known as LightBox.... I think... rofl... heck yes!
  11. Hey Bluebear. I can understand what you are saying and can see where you are coming from. There are probably a few reason why it may seem God is not answering your prayers. 1. Everything God does, He does for His own glory. That may seem fairly self centered when you hear that, but after all, He is God. He may not be answering your prayers how you would like Him to because it is not in His divine will. 2. Maybe God is answering you prayers, but maybe not in the way that you expect it to happen. He has a much greater design, and it falls beyond the boundaries of what we are able to understand. 3. Maybe His answer is no 4. God is Holy, and therefore, He does not allow sin to enter his presence. You may not like hearing this, but you are a sinner. Why would He answer your prayers when you continuously rebel against Him? He does love you! He has already proven it by sending His Son to die for you! The question is though, do you love God? He does not have to do anything (including helping you) because He is All Powerful. But He has chosen to offer you His Grace, all you have to do is take it . He very much wants you to accept Him into your heart, but the reason why you have not felt Him in your life is because you HAVEN'T allowed Him that room in your heart!
  12. Alright, jjaenagle I have to say I'm on your side... however, some of your theology seems a little off to me... but thats another discussion... You are correct in one aspect of this. Men did indeed write the Bible, however, they did not invent/create/imagine it. The words which are found in the Bible today are 100% God inspired. In other words, those who wrote it down, were being guided by God in what they wrote down. If I am reading this correctly, I completely agree with you. I find it annoying that people say that God simply lets horrible things happen. We has imperfect humans have no right to question God. He is infinitely greater than our minds could ever comprehend. The reason why horrible things happen so often in this world: sin. In other words, it is mans own fault that the world is in the state it is in. As I've already noted, the Bible is clearly God inspired. In Genesis, it says that God created man. That is all the proof that is necessary.

  14. That really depends on what you want it to do... you'll have to clarify what you mean.
  15. I program in PHP, CSS, and HTML. I should probably learn javascript sometime soon.. but meh....
  16. Ok, Reekun... you get what you pay for... Oh wait, you didn't pay for your web hosting. Its a free service, you should be thankful it even exists. I can understand your frustration, but seriously: is it really that big a deal?
  17. You get cpanel with your hosting package, not with the forum account.Fantistico does not replace the use of an FTP. However, it will install the forum for you, so you do not need to use an FTP to upload the forum. FTP can be used for general file uploads, etc. Fantastico is used to add forums, image galleries, blogs, etc.
  18. (Note: I've left out some of your post, because the issues had been addressed in the post above me.) I definitely agree with you. That is utterly wrong and disgusting. However, I believe the point you are trying to make by saying that, is beliefs in general are bad. That is untrue. Not all beliefs are bad. Also, you asked the question: "How messed up is this damn world?" I agree with you, this world is incredibly screwed up. The reason why it is screwed up: sin. I agree with what was said in the post above about this issue, but I will answer the question you posed: "Lets be honest, why do you believe in Christianity?". First, I'd like to point out that I have no faith in the religion itself. What I do have however is faith in Christ. Now since that is cleared up, let me rephrase your question: "Why do you believe in Christ?". I think that this is actually a hard question to answer, as there is quite a lot of ground to cover in the answer. Due to this, I will give you the simplest answer that I possibly can. The reason I believe in Christ is that He is God. God created us to love Him/be loved by Him, and to give Him honor and glory. That is the entire reason of the existence of anything, even God Himself (in other words, God exists to honor Himself). So why do I believe in Christ? That is my purpose in life.
  19. Thank you both for you opinions and comments. Kobra, I added you to the associates section at the bottom of all of my pages. I may play around with a darker background, to see how it will turn out.
  20. You don't have to worry about acquiring Bryce 5 legally... cuz its the second newest version, and they don't sell it anymore. If you can find a download for a full version of it online, and a serial number, your good.
  21. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ I want opinions about everything that you can oppinionate please! lol Any suggestions are welcome..
  22. I've been logged in for a day straight... at least before, so I don't think that the problem lies with the trap....
  23. One time I had waffles and cheese.. surprisingly... it wasn't all that bad.... I may have thrown some peanut butter in there too... can't remember...
  24. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Here is the spoono tutorial I was attempting to follow I think that the only reason I couldn't do it was because I'm not to good at using a mouse to morph things, etc.... As for obtaining a copy of Bryce.... I'm searching my computer for the installation file, etc. that I used... I think I deleted it though.... .... I'll pm you if I can find it...
  25. Actually, that is essentially what it is. I guess I'll try to explain this to you... Alright, before Christ died for our sins, people would offer lambs without any blemishes to repent for their sins. Essentially, Christ is that spotless lamb. He was the perfect human. Therefore he alone could atone for all of our sins. https://gotquestions.org/ may be able to help you if you have any more questions... and they'll be answered far better than I will be able to. And now... time for a debate with electriic ink. ... (also, lets keep this as friendly as possible) Indeed He is God, He is capable of all things. However, God is also Holy. But more to my point: sin=death, and sin requires payment. Because God is Holy, sin cannot exist in His presence. He does not allow sin in his presence at all! There is only one way to pay for sin, and that is death. Now, you asked, Let me quote some scripture... I must say, the question that you asked, really puts the crucifixion in a negative light. What if you were to look at it this way. God loves us so much, that He was willing to sacrifice HIS SON, so that we could live! Jesus was 100% willing to do what his father willed. Before the crucifixion Jesus prayed that if there was any other way for us to have salvation, that the crucifixion would not happen. Well, it did happen, so thats obviously the only way .
