Yes invisionfree, but SMF is good if u hosted on the site, thrn you have a very good nice forum that has unlimtied number of members polls and topics, or you can get a trial version of IPB that is ad-free, but has a limit on members and things of that nature. Also phpbb is free and mybb, there is also fourmer, and forumupforumup.usinvisionfree.comforumer.comphpbb.com

Guess it is good site, but me like tv on my flat panel watchig it day in and day out, I hate watching the shows Ia love on the small screen of comoputer, but when seeing it on the humungous flat panel my uncle has I love it!

Thanks for all the help guys. It was a joomla sort of type. But the problem is it was still a redirect. When you visted http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ it redirected you to http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/home Well I didn't know that the blank lines affected the way Google indexed my site. And I will do that trick that you said about adding text to the body of my page! And I added it with the script in site management on our cpanel. But I will also manually add it as well! Some reason when I think of gender and web design I think of guys with big glasses and do not intiate mmy train of thought towards hot busty babes! But what is funny to me is to think that some members on this site could actually be of the different gender and we dont even no of it. For example, buffallo help could be a girl (sorry for using u in this example) , he probably isnt but who knows. For all you know I could be an alien with six heads who has no sex at all. For I am neither male or female, or I could be anerdy 20 year old trying to get my site to reach stardum? Who knows?

I feel that if technology continues on the path that is going in then Yes this will occur. Everybody knows this from scientists to writers like Ray Bradbury, who stress the importance of using technology to the fullest, but knowing there is a limit to how far we can go with it. Right now though, I feel we are at a good state in the technology buissiness and we do not have to fear of this occuring in our day and age, but as technolog progresses we are becoming more vunerable to such take overs that we need to be extremely cautious to this occuring cause it could happen in the near future when we are least expecting it!

Well I answered what you initially posted, which was unrelated to the question currently posted. But, to make use to the question asked, yes there are ways to protect yourselves when using (others( wi-fi. But remember, using an internet cafe's wi-fi or any other businesses that offer wi-fi free is okay, but using your neighbors or somebody who is not distributing their wi-fi is illegal. The things you can do are what you just posted like firewalls, etc. Use some anti-virus software as well to secure yourself in case somebody infects you with a virus over the connection, because these connections are easily viewable to others. Also, do not send personal information when accesing these connections like credit card numbers or s.s #'s . Those can be easily accessed to by somebody who knows computers very well. Then they can use this information to commit identity theft and loads of other wicked things. Your best bet is to just use a connection that is secured by a W.E.P . or some other kind of security because other wise you might as well give your personal information out because they are so easily accessible!

Others can access your interent and use your bandwith without you ever knowing. You need tobuy and install one. I advise you use geeksquad, they are the best at installing things like that, but *BLEEP* is not cheap. Do this so you will not take the risk of loosing yor interente ever again!

I signed your guestbook and showed how I can help your site a little bit. For example, switching to Xisto would give you no ads and things like forums and such that are listed in Fantastico! Geocities is a good starter, but you need to take the next step! So thats my suggestion

"Yes! I'm listed" was my initial response when searching google for: computer.trap17.com : And there it was, my link in the Google Search Engine. What was remarkable was how my site was indexed in one day when my site had no posts and a disgusting template. I was ecstatic and hoping this was a beginning of something good to come. So I started making my site better. I got a template, some members, and one month later there is my site. With 2100 posts and 5 members. I felt proud of the job I had done and thought to myself. If I can get indexed in google in one day, how great would my site be one month when we get 10 members and 4200 posts? But, before I thought too hard I quickly went to my laptop and searched The Computer Forums, which is a trademark of my site. I looked through the list and got nothing. I was astonished because I had expected something higher, but I didn't care because google took time. So then I went and searched computer.trap17.com . And guess what? There was nothing there. NOTHING!!! I was p.offed. THe only thing that was listed was my hosting approvals by Buff. So how can Google index my site in one day when there is nothing there except for an empty Joomla webpage and a phpbb forum that was disgusting with the subsilver template, and could not index a site that had 2100 posts and a nicer morpheus template? So now I think of Google as nothing at all. Except a bot who doesn't know garbage from gold. To me, they are no more a traitor then a friend, until i see my site back up !

I have a question about this category! How come it is around, isn't it just providing more hits to their respective site? Anyway, some free hosts are : freehostia, and ifastnet . Those are good, but none is as good as Xisto. Believe me on this

*FIRST OFF: I love the new forum it reall suits the site better" Now In the scripts category on our hosted members section, there is something called PhpMyChat Room. It semms easy to install. All you have to do is put the following information in: SOme reason it will not work though. When the installtion is done is says to click on the link, but the link does not lead to anything. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ we should combine Xisto and Xisto - Web Hosting together. Why? it'll be the best to get more traffic! Xisto and Xisto - Web Hosting would make it easier. People will get free hosting, still have to post, but then see that if they do not want to post then they can upgrade. Also, these forums should still be up, for support, but under Xisto - Web Hosting. Also, people should have the choice of adding ads to their account if they do not want to post. Sure there is Xisto.net, but you are restricted to a sub-domain and limited features. This is just a though maybe a really dumb one, but .... maybe its a good idea

I like the concept of the site very much. The only thing is to make your site more professional looking. I think that would help a lot because your site seems a little on the cheap side. The other thing you should do is add more content to it. There is a good number of things on your site, but I think by adding more content to your site that will most-likely give you a lot more visitors to your site, boosting the profit ( I see you have some ads on your site.) That's just some of the suggestions I have, it is a good site, but there are things that you can do to improve it!

Welcome!! Try to be active and not to spam on the forum. Post good quality posts and earn a lot until you have enough to gtet hosting. The hosting ehre is the best out there. So there is no need to look for better hosting. Hope you enjoy it here and hope nthat your website goes well!

I proably will not watch it, but it is cool that they are going on and airing the program anyway in memory of steve irwin. I'm glad they are not going to show him getting bit by the stingray because thayt would be wrong, instead it looks like they are going to show steve irwin doing what he did best, in the last footage of his show! Looks like a good way to end his career and begin the long legacy of the best crocodile hunter that has ever livved!

Umm yeah that does probably work, but it does take a long time to do so, so it isnt worth it. I cannot say tnhe idea is horrid, nbecause my site uses a similar concept, if only they made it easier to earn money then yeah I would join, but since it is too hard, I am not going to try it!!!

I dont use any sort of program. I just use phpbb forum software, so i do not use any of those prgrams like frontpage! But I did use frontpage in the beggfining when I was hosted with awardspace(Xisto is much much better!). I did not like it because it was hard to cutomize it, and since I am no web designer, I had no clue on what I was doing. I gave up on that and told myself to never do something like that ever again. So I now just use fantasico to upload scripts onto my webby webby website !!!

Your parents are just dping what they feel is in your best interest. They do not want you to be wit hthe wrong corwd or wrong group of people, and they care about you a lot. You should feel lucky that you have parents that actually care about you and not some parents that do not care and let you run wild. Really, i don't know what it is like to have strict parents mine were never like that, since my dad was always away on business, and sometimes he'd tag along my mom too, so I had to make my own decisions a lot. That was rough siunce I hung around the wrong crowfd a lot. So really be grateful, because there may be some kids wising their parents wer elike yours!

I used to be a fanatic to IPB, and loved it a lot. I wanted one, wanted it to look exactly like Xisto, and wanted all the mods for it. I then saw that IPB weren't as good as I had initially said. First off, with IPB there are not that many mods for it, compared to phpbb where there are so may mods it is unbelievable,and I am grateful for it. Also, it is more customizable and a lot of people have phpbb templates available, that is something that IPB failed to do, in my sense. I did find CSS skins and I liked them for IPB, the problem is the ones that I found, had a lot of copyright notices on it, and that would make my site look both cheap and unprofessional. Now with V-bulliten, I have not tried it out, so I would not know what it is like. But, personally, I dislike how it looks and feels. And it seems like an IPB wannabe that cannot be as good as it. And you have to pay for it, just like IPB, which was horrid. With Phpbb its free and mod-ful(tons of I mods for it) a lot of cool templates, and it just plain out ROCKS. I love it and hope all people looking into getting a forum look into phpbb first. Okay, another thing is that you forgot SMF, and mybb. I dislike SMF, a lot. It is hard to instsall tmeplates, the mods for it suck, and I just hated the interface of it, that I would think everybody who would use it would hate it. There are some cool stuff that you can do with it, like edit the user agreement, which I liked, but that is something that I can live with not usin, so I was cool with it. Now Mybb is the worst, that you would ever use. DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TRYING IT. I really hated it and I do not know why. Maybe because it was anotehr wannbe phpbb and it had all the same feature ,but an ugly interface and chapely done features that I would not know why any human, would want it. So there it is what I think. To sum it up I made a list of the best and worst!1. Phpbb (duh! its free, like Xisto!!!)2. IPB( Yeah you have to pay for it, but the admin features do rock)3. SMF (not the best but you get what you pay for, and its free)4. Mybb (again its easy to install and free5. V-builliten( you have to pay for it, and I hate it! So thats just my humble opinion!

Okay there is a simple answer. For those people who want to do somthing with their life instead of spending hours on the computer even though I'm currently spending hours on the comuter. Anyway, high school is fun. You make friends, get the girl, and all that other crap. But, the people who want to be more then a web designer, for those people who want to be suregons, for those people who just want to succeed in something like dentistry, then of course high school is in upmost importance. IF there was no high school and everybody just went to college then people would not be prepared, thats something high school also does is it prepares you for everything that comes after school, so of course you may need it, but Boozker, you are AN EXCEPTION!!!!!!!! You are the 1 out o 100 people who are ready for college, many people are not and that was somebody like me who was not ready for college and needed high school, or I would not have become anything, and when i mean anything, i mean anything. I would have become a bum, or worked a MCdonals, also if you go straight to college you cannot get a sports scolarship and you cannot get a academic scholarship so of couse people who cannot afford college, but are intelligent are going to have to go to high school, as a way to be able to afford the amount that college is going to cost. And as I have said before, high scool is fun. I mean you get to hang out with people, while learning You get to get in trouble, cause trobule learn, go to dances, eat their crappy crappy meals that they serve on the crappy crappy plates. You get to go to Gym and play sports with people you may normally never see play sports because they are not athletes. The list is endless. High school isnt just about learning about smart things lie math, socal studies, and etc. etc., but you learn life lessons, how when you do somehthing stupid or cause trouble you will get punished, for those who never knew that and in high scool if you do something tats bad you wont go to jail like in the real world, so the moral is that high school is useful and it is important and it is somethign to look forard to.!!!!!

Also, since I am farily new with web desgin I do not know exactly how to make my own templates, but I will look in to giving out PHP scripts, that was a very good idea! Also, this a question to the Mods., is it alright if I gave out Xisto credits points. For example, for a specific amount of points someone can exchange their credits for points and I will personally give them the amount they asked for from my account to theirs? IS that allowed?
