  1. oh ya! frisbee fan here too. course the game we play is called frisbee football but it sounds a lot like your frisbee soccer... since we're in the US I'm thinking it's just the same thing.I love archery and it helps I'm pretty good at it. (school champion in high school woo! hehe) I went on a fieldtrip with the summer school kids and got to do some archery and nailed that target every time right in the center (except for twice but we don't count those). Was the highlight of my day since I haven't done archery all through college but I guess I can still do it.
  2. I've read all three several times. I'm sort of a LOTR nut. The book I liked best was "Fellowship" because so much "happy" time was spent in the Shire, and of course we got to hang out with the elves in Lorien. I love the language and imagery of all three books however. As for the movies, I liked "TTT" best because it moved along so quickly and those Uruks are scary beyond all reason. lol
  3. I was on entechost for a bit but they were havin lots of probs and turned it into a single site. Don't know what happened. *shrug* I was on freewebs but their coding that I had to put at the bottom of every page just made it look baad and it took quite awhile to upload everything. Sofar, Trap looks to be a great host!
  4. Just another alternate would be to go into Netscape Composer. My sister swears by it (she's a beginner too). I just found an interactive HTML learning site at http://www.davesite.com/webstation/html/ which might be helpful to noobies
  5. I use HTML-Kit. DLed it for free at download.com and I really like it. I've done others (including frontpage which is okay for teaching people how to do coding, but I don't like using it.) I like the speed and streamline look of HTML-Kit best.
  6. At home I'm on Windows XP and I really like it, though I guess as on all OS you have to keep your firewalls etc. updated (I've read XP is particularly vulnerable). Anyway, at school we had Windows 2000 which I'm so not a fan of just because it's too "user friendly" if you know what I mean. I'll stick to my XP
  7. I've always been a PS fan, but I'm thinking of getting a Gamecube. I don't know if it's true, but I've heard it loads a lot faster than PS2 and that's really been getting on my nerves how slow it is. I wanna play *now* dag-nabbit!
  8. I admit it, I've been watching Simple Life 2. I can't believe I have been, as I hate reality shows not to mention the "talent" on the show. But it seems like SL2 is always bloody on. Do they have nothing else on FOX? Oh yeah, method and red. Eeeeeegads who gave that show a greenlight?? I miss X-Files (cerca season 6). Simpsons used to be funny, it just isn't so fresh anymore. I heard they're doing a movie though, so that should be interesting...

    Zelda

Zelda is absolutely my most fav game. I'm going to have to go with the Ocarina of Time for N64. I just really like the story (and Link gets to be big which is just too cool).
  10. I just got "Road Rage" for PS2 and I'm totally addicted. It's just like, oh what's the name of that game, well you have to pick up people and have to get them to the destination point by a certain time or they hop out of your car. It's got all the Simpson's characters in it and I love how the characters all recognize each other! When Marge gets into Lisa's car she says, "Hi, honey. Can you take mommy to the store?" hehe It's just really very cute.
  11. This Land is Your Land... Apparantly this is pretty funny, but I can't get it to run on my puter. I've heard the sound clip on the radio though and sounds hi-larious! For those that don't know, it's a parody about George W. Bush and John Kerry.
  12. Ned Kelly was just *now* released in the US (7/27) so I finally got to see it... three times actually. LOL Can't watch an Orli Bloom movie just once you know! I really liked their take on the Ned Kelly "legend" because they weren't superheroes, just regular guys that got into a seemingly unpreventable situation that lead to some painful (and rather depressing) consequences. See? No spoilers here! I recommend people see it, though I must warn there's little time to come up for breath, pretty intense. I'll give it a 7/10.
  13. ya that one's called "Rock Bottom" with the letters all side-ways and funky.I love the Sponge. I used to find it incredibly annoying, infact at one point I think the show was my mortal enemy. Yes, the whole show. But it grew on me because my little sis got the first season DVD set for x-mas and it's pretty much been on loop ever since.
  14. Going into the theater, I wasn't too thrilled that we'd be watching Spiderman 2. He's not my fav comic book hero. In the first movie, Tobey was just such a pathetic Peter Parker, so I figured hooboy Tobey sulking for 2 hours in red spandex... but really it turned out to be the best movie I think i've seen all summer, which is rather disappointing. LMAO (I had hoped I'd like VanHelsing and Troy a whole lot more than I did.) S2 was a fun romp - cgi wasn't too overbearing nor was the MJ/PP romance. I'd recommend seeing it to friends
  15. I just finished reading The Two Towers again. Odd how Lord of the Rings never gets old Of course I'm still looking for elfy inspiration for that fic I'm working on, so I try to keep LOTR fresh in my mind. Now if I could just find time to actually work on the fic. hum.
