none i never vote. Weather's not so good, the start of the cold season so i'm expecting this section to grow.round -
this is coming from a girl. Just ask and stop making this into the biggest deal in the world. It's just a date not the end of the world. If you were asking her to marry you then i could understand all this drama but it's just a date and you really don't know if it's going to work at all.round

there are like a hundred sites, and groups just dedicated to linux. I installed a linux box on my system but gave it up, not because it was all that difficult to navigate but because there were no really proffesional programs out there for me to use. I though that it run faster but it's all the same really. Hope you have better luck.round

Web Browsers Safest Internet Web Browsers
round replied to Antihack's topic in Security issues & Exploits
but you can't get viruses from browsing the net. What you can get is spyware which isn't really a virus and you only get that if you download something. You still no matter what have to click ok to everything, so if you pay attention you won't accidently install a virus.round -
Google Just Got Csi gmail service used in csi
round replied to Saint_Michael's topic in Search Engines
Is it really that much better. I haven't been able to create an account because it only works with mac's running osx compatible browsers so i'm not really sure why anyone who hasn't upgraded would. I mean it's only email after all.round -
The last time i submitted a site to google it took longer than a week for it to show up. I mean techinically it can take a week if your lucky enough to be spidered right after you submit but i've had sites that have taken up to a month or so befor the url appears.round

the site is nice, but the flash isn't linked, or not that i can see. Wish there was more stuff moving around, little things to make it more fun.round

I like the feel of the site but maybe there are just too many backgrounds on the page. The text isn't very readable either. But good work none the less. Hope to see it when it's completed.round

weird but there doesn't seem to be a site up and running at the url above. The message just says that the account is active and hosted at Xisto. Am i missing something.round

i really don't see why you want to leave the whole thing on while your away at school or work and stuff. I really believe that if your not using it then you shouldn't leave it on. Plus leavin it unattened and connected to the internet is not a good idea unless your running your own server.round

i'm not sure but this might help. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

Would You Shop Using Your Cellphone online cellphone shopping cart
round replied to round's topic in Programming
ok here's the thing guys i was asking a question. No reason to freak out here. There are people out there that download things to their cellphones, like songs and stuff all the time.round -
I forgot to post this link for you http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/index.html and you should try and check out java.com aswell. Plus it might be tons better if you just did a search on google. Find the site which explains it to you in a way that you can understand.round

I would just buy a book. The bigger question here is, why would you want to learn java? It's sortof outdated right now. I mean if you really wanted to learn something that would turn out to be very useful, then i would suggest learning php. Although it's still a scripting language(doesn't need to be compiled) It's still closer to c++ and will start you off understanding database programs. I think trying to learn java if you don't understand programming at all will only get you discouraged.round

Should There Be Two Different Css Files one for stly and one for lay out?
round replied to Static_Fury's topic in Programming
keep it all in one file, that way you can have a differnt css file for completely different sections of your site, if that's an appeal. But i like to have to open and save only one file to the server when making changes to my site.round -
Changes In Google.com Homepage. On 7th birthday Google in changein a bit
round replied to sunny's topic in Search Engines
i don't like. I use the search engine everyday all day, and really wish they don't end up looking like yahoo.com. I mean it's not that bad of page, not heavy at all to load, but it's filled with so many things that i don't need or ever click on that it would be a real shame if they went that root.round -
thing is that i do know some people who like to listen to a certain type of music and wear black all the time, who like to call themselves goth. I'm not sure if it's the rest of us who put labels on people or if it's people themselves who like to label themselves.round

i finally get what these sigs are, but i wonder why people are spending so much time creating them. and they all sort of look the same. Nice but, all the same.round

You would be better off running your php off of someone else's server. Or running it where it will eventually reside. Much, much simpler. If you have virtual pc on your computer then you could try installing easyphp. It's the best php/mysql/apachie sever around. I haven't found anything easier for the mac.round
