Personally i would go with one database per sever and then one table per update. Nice and simple. As for the time stamp you can manually create some SQL for that and then fill the field with the current server timestamp. IVe posted in your other thread too.

Exactly, im sure we are all educated in the ways of a woman's menstrual cycle. When they have their period (i assume its still called that in the states, its "that time of the month" as well all know it by) the womans body is simply chucking out an egg that didnt get fertilized, the blood is simply the lining of the womb which helps the baby grow, of course the egg is too small to see. Chickens of course dont give birth to live babies and hence dont have the blood lining, so when they have a "period" they just chuck out, or lay, an egg. so what you are eating on toast is a chicken's period. When a hen lays an egg with no male involved, it is NOT reproduction, for that egg is simply infertile, it can only be reproduction when a male IS involved, as those eggs will likely hatch.

Chickens lay eggs constantly, whether they have sex or not. But this is not reproduction as the eggs are infertile.

Well my advice is to report this post in about 2 hours time, or to PM a mod to get some attention. Tell them if they dont get it sorted within 2 days you're going to demand your money back for false advertising, they say a guaranteed uptime of 99.99%, so if your site is offline for more than 3.6 days (lets say 4) then they havent adhered to their end of the deal and as far as im concerned you're entitled to your money back.As a side note their status page is a 404 error. I think Xisto - Web Hosting needs some attention or xisto is going to loose customers, and rightly so. 24/7 support is offline?! Xisto, you have issues. Serious issues.

Too true, but at the same time i think theyre a good start, they can power small remote villages such as those in scotland and wales where its a pain to lay cables. I also think solar is good for individual house and given the sheer amount of square footage atop the city buildings, and the lack of shadow on them due to their height they would make great places for solar panels than can easily provide the hot water for the building or supplementary power. And as a side note about it being cooler and that proving global warming is fake: Global warming is about just as likely to cause an ice age as a global drought. IF the gulf stream shuts down (a warm current from south america to the UK) then it will be like turning a radiator off on one side of the planet, the UK and areas around us will get a lot colder, and with that the global temperatures will drop and eventually an ice age will begin, just like the film "the day after tomorow" the gulf stream shuts down which is why it gets cooler, the storms of course are fictional. So cooling down is also a sign of global "warming" a more appropriate title would be "climate change" which is used widely.

Aye, some animals, like humans, can reproduce at any time they want, whereas some only once a year, and some like rats several times a year. I agree to an extent, i do believe temperatures are rising, and i do think we have an impact, but a very small one, perhaps 1% or so of the warming is due to us. as you said we are on the tail end of an ice age, which is in fact why sea levels may be rising in southern England, because as the ice retreated it lingered in cold scotland for sometime, and of considerable thickness, and the millions of tonnes of ice actually pushed scotland down, and like a giant see-saw the south end rose slightly, so now that the ice is gone scotland is rising back up to normal height and thus the south is sinking slightly. Not only that but if you can find me 500 years where global temperate averages per year have stayed the same i will cycle everywhere i go. It doesnt happen like that.The earths orbit isnt perfectly round, so variations happen, not only that but the solar cycle is 11 years which means that the suns activity, and hence energy production, changes in a cycle about every 11 years as measured with sunspots. So temperature is going to change.Also consider that methane, a perfectly natural gas, is, i think, 30 times more effective at trapping heat than CO2 and then you realize whats going on... thousands of tonnes of methane goes into the atmosphere every year, some from rotting rubbish but loads from rotting vegetables, plants and yup, animal farts. So theres your greenhouse effect.lThough that being said i still think we should reduce pollution as look at Bejing... Aye, i think the OP might have been talking about natural selection/evolution as "knowing" rather than having knowledge of. G chickeens lay eggs because they are predated on to such an extent they need to reproduce every day.I dont know how often chickens (or precisely, hens) lay eggs but i think salamangkero is probably right. And everytime a hen lays an egg it isnt reproducing, its simply laying an infertile (usually) egg. The eggs we eat very very rarely have the ability to hatch for the hens are not in contact with the *BLEEP* (the male chicken before you start!) and so dont get pregnant, they simple produce eggs constantly and i guess its like having a period. As a period is simply your body getting rid of an egg it doesnt want

Nah it wont overtake google, itll stay below yahoo too i think. It doesnt look like a search engine and the results are rubbish, its hard to look through them to find what you want as you only see a few results per page and unlike google it doesnt have the text there (atleast it didnt when i tried it) and so you dont know if it really contains the results you want.

Deep down we all know it isnt going to happen! MS arent worried about who uses their browser, all they care about is their paid software like office and windows. IE wont be antwhere near the FF or opera standards for a good few years yet! Having said that i might be tempted to try a later beta

If its soon, eg within a few weeks or a month or so, then phone your girl and tell her you will back shortly and you would like to go around her house and speak to her parents. If you wont be home for some time then phone her and get her to put her mum/dad on the phone.When you speak to them explain that you love their daughter and would like a future with her, that youre not like some other guys that want a quick relationship, you want to live with this girl and one day marry her. Ask them why they dont like this idea. And dont try to defend your family instead just explain that your dad has a short temper and thinks he knows best but doesnt, tell them that you are making the decisions here and your dad isnt (as it seems its your dad thats causing the issues) explain that because your parents have issues that you want to be better than them, you want a better relationship and truly care for their daughter. Take their comments on board and if you can afford it, when you get home take your girlfriend and her parents out to dinner, you pay of course and show you can take care of their daughter and talk about the future. The BNP arent racist, they will however house native citezens over those who have just run through the eurostar tunnel and turned up in dover. Which is right. There are people in this country, pregnant, single women, families, couples who are homeless and these immigrants come over here and get a 3 bedroom house, not a scummy flat, a house, car, benefits, free healthcare and everything while these homeless natives get to squeeze in with relatives, live in hostels, or live in scummy council flats. surely this requires something more complex? doesnt the provider have to charge you for the message?In which case would need to have some sort of account which is credited with real money.Having said that i live in the Uk so things might be different and ive never integrated any kind of text message to any code.Have you tried scouring the net sites of phone providers? I agree, admittedly i havent read your links but im tired and drinking :)There is no logic behind this system as far as i can see. Big companies make money online, thres no doubt about it, and given the cheapness of the internet (lets face it, i can get hosted for ?5/month... A big company needs more than me so lets say 10x that amounts, its still only ?6k per year, now given the cost of employing someone is about minimum ?14k per year the website is a lot cheaper, even if you have to pay ?30k a year for a site admin youre still looking at ?36k per year for massive exposure, huge amounts of space to advertise your product in place of 2 or 3 employees who will advise customers you now have 2 or 3 pages of text and images that do a better job and cheaper. Its the reason you get online discounts, because its cheaper to work online than offline. so given that fact id say that all companies benefit from the internet, sure there are people like moi that compare products and change our minds but at the end of the day for every customer that chooses a competitor one chooses their product so it doesnt affect them im sure.Not only that but no-one in their right mind would pay to see a certain number of websites... its just silly. you would just tap a phone line and have free access.

Im not much of an expert with JS and these sorts of things, i prefer the back end of websites as it were but i have a few ideas. Firstly make it visible in the CSS and view it in FF, does it appear in the right place? If not then you know you have a problem with the CSS and the JS has nothing to do with it, if its in the right place when visible but wrong when the JS gets involved then its the JS.It could be due to the way FF and IE parse the HTML, as far as i know IE loads the page as one "element" and FF does it line by line, dsiplaying wht it reads as it goes along, so it could be due to that. But as i said, first thing to try is to see where it is when its visible and work from there.

Avast certainly is the best. My brother had Mac-crap-affee and it just doesnt work properly, it slows the pc down to the point where a virus would be a damn sight faster! Avast is by far the best, and i would never, ever purchase a paid alternative. And if you want anti-phishing stiff get a firefox plugin called Phishtank and get the komodo firewall. It allows e-commerce sites to register themselves with the firewall and then places a seal of approval on the bottom right on the browser that is clickable to confirm its authentic. It's good stuff!

Just browsing the news and came across this article: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/7567889.stm It is a new exploit based on your computers clipboard. Basically the hacker creates a flash file, usually a banner ad which has some specific code in it. This code empties your clipboard of anything you have copied and then inserts a weblink in there to a malicious download posing as anti virus software. So next time you copy some text and paste it into a forum or chat box or something the flash file, which is now stored within your firefox process or in the firefox temp folders, deletes the stuff you copied and re-inserts its little link back in there, so you go to paste and instead of the text you paste a link to a virus. Inventive! I expect a fix might well take some time for this, because its not a firefox bug as such, more of an oversight of flash to allow it to modify the clipboard. It seems the best way to kill it is simply to CTRL+ALT+DEL > PROCESSES and "End process" the "firefox.exe" process. In most cases that seems to solve it, if not you will need to reboot. This affects Mac and Windows but is easy to remove. There is however, a more serious exploit within the DNS system. There has been a bug found, and i think some companies have patched, others havent, and it allows a hacker to redirect you to any webpage while still keeping the correct URL. For example i could type in paypal.com (correct) and be taken to a fake paypal site, despite the fact the URL is correct. Im not sure how this works but the best way to prevent it affecting you is to always make sure you look at the website carefully to make sure it is the right one. If you log into your bank remember they will never ask for the full PIN/secret number or word (they will normally ask for one of those in full, but not both, they will normally ask for letter/digit 1, 4, 2 etc... not the whole thing) More info can be found here And this exploit will affect EVERY device that connects to a DNS server, your phone, PSP, xbox/PS3, computer, server, PDA. Everything.

It takes practice but eventually you can feel your own energy when you need it, rising up inside you and laving your body, and you can actually feel fairly tired, though many will say if you feel tired you did it wrong as you should take energy from outside, into your body and use that instead of your own reserves, but alas i diverge... those that do not believe will put these sensations down to the human mind, which is no doubt powerful enough to make one feel tired, energetic, feel an energy rising within and create all the other feelings that one might experience. So the debate is open. I do believe, i think that there are two energies in the universe, male and female, my basis on this is no matter where you look in life, no life form is able to create offspring without having a partner of the opposite sex. A sexual reproduction just makes clones. So if there was one male God or female Goddess then how did they make something so different to themselves? Perhaps they are all powerful and so dont need to have a partner, but if that is true why is it that almost all other life forms DO need a partner? Makes you wonder...

hi there, the above resources are a great start, but remember not to just stick to tutorials. The way i learned was to follow the tutorials and learn the basics, like manipulating a string of characters, or basic maths functions like +, -, * etc....and learning about variables in POST and GET (dont worry if you dont understand what im saying, most tutorials will cover this pretty quickly) Then from there build a basic program, for example a form where it asks for a users first name, then they enter their name and click the submit button and your script compares their name to a list of "banned" users and if they are banned it tells them to go away and if theyre not banned it says hello to them. Stuff like that. That way you will get a better understanding of the processes involved in a program and how a program should flow, and also iit will be all your own work. with most tutorials you will simply be copying them, which is great, but to really learn you need to do it yourself with a little help from them and then eventually you wont need them at all and can then step up to the next level. I do have a tutorial on my website but im having some problems with that at the moment so when its up and running ill post the linky, it tells you all the best software to use and gives a basic intro into PHP. I think its pretty good EDIT: thanks to SM here is the linky http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ its not a long tutorial but it will tell you what software you need to test websites on your own computer, rather than needing a webhost, and the best software to use to edit and create code. It will also teach you in a straightforward way how to create a dynamic PHP website with a url like site.com/modules.php?mod=news which i think is a fun project to learn and useful too!

Its surprisingly common, yours could have been due to the alcohol. Everyone has sleep paralysis when they dream, otherwise we would act out our dreams as sleep walkers etc.. do so its nothing to worry about.Ive never had it but it does sound scary, especially the visions etc... I think the most common one, and a very common nightmare, is of an old lady sitting at the end of the bed, or laying on you/sitting on you, possibly with evil looking eyes.I dont know if there are any techniques you can use to snap out of it, but if it does happen again try to take control, you need to wake your brain up properly and then with any luck it will release you, so you could just try to act normal as though you were awake and just lying still and youll either relax enough that youll sleep again or youll be released as it were.If it keeps happening then see your doctor, there probably isnt anything they can do but you never know.the rule here is not to get wasted!
