I've been looking through all the usb distributions. Most of them need you to burn a CD, then copy the files, which I can't do. Is there some way of skipping this, some virtual disc or iso unzip tool?

It could be used, but it's not the smartest way, text files or sql are better data storage. -
There are Windows Blinds (and its alternatives) skins, I've seen some stuff for Windows theme editor, but couldn't get it working.

Those sort of things are generably scabable (or at least keep that in mind when you make it).It varies too much to say. Unless you're doing hundreds of cron jobs, it only matters how many people are using it. It'll probably be very database-based, you could offload things like user pictures to imageshack. I would expect bandwidth would be a problem before cpu usage before disk space, but it can depend on things like use of sql.

Along with cookies, the server can tell the browser not to cache it. I'm not entirely sure how this goes, but it's something like it still downloads it, but always goes online to the original website for a new version. -

Ultimate quality would be some sort of redundancy, your site on two dedis doing nothing else.As for what I've had, I had packages from friends identical to Xisto (Cpanel, sizes, etc) and it's brilliant. Downtime doesn't mean much anymore, they just fail if its much. I find no ads and Cpanel a must. -
I would just package up Ubuntu to my own choice. Or buy a massive pen drive and put a bunch of OS's on, and Grub. The wheel has a million designs, we can be lazy now.

That's activex, which is ms/ie only, things like Java are equally hard, but cross-platform/browser.

You're saying you want a script. We can't do anything at all with that infomation. No scripts at all can often make a good website.iGuest you can't, everything seperates file:// and http:// for security.

You can tell google a user/pass, and sitemaps, but generally what it can't find a link to, it won't index.

Replace the <body> with <body onLoad="startBanner()"> No caching on the client is impossible, to see something it must be downloaded. That fact makes all the rest impossible in any worthwhile sense. -

You'll probably be learning PCRE regex, orignally from Perl. Regex is very powerful, but one of the slowest general use functions in php. You really should learn if if you can, it's very language-independant. If you look at http://php.net/preg_match (php called it preg, others called it regex) for an explanation of how the regex patterns are used. I found the website you linked to quite hard at first, but the language I used had a much simpler explanation elsewhere. Php may do, you could google for one.

Probably your internet, or the site you're downloading it from. I've had downloads of over 1mb/s from M$ one time, then like 50 kb/s another time, even BBC ranges from 20 to 600 kbps.

You could do something like a salted hash for the checking address, and regex (preg match) for checking email, though this is probably better done in javascript.

Yes.1. The only sort you have to care about is how much data is sent out from you, and generally html files are negliable.2. Crontab, doable here.3. Yes, learn loops and arrays of php.4. I would suggest contrab for the server, and javascript for the users.

You're getting one standard tv graphics card, for a high end computer with 3-sli? You might want to match that up. If you're a really hardcore gamer you might want another monitor, or 64 bit. Imo I'd get a second hard drive and graphics card if I was buying that.

The only place I'd drive that is where a go-cart would be better. Anywhere else and it's not safe enough or it'd get beached.
