These improvements are only going to benefit its currently existing users. I doubt that netscape will ever make a comback unless its starts getting similar ammounts of publicity like firefox has, which is unlikely.

Ive heard than in Switzeland its popular and acceptable for people to swim naked in lakes. I would love to vacation there some day and try this myself.
-
Awesome! I wanna try this right away. But just one question, does the file that is run when the cd is loaded have to be an executable? I think that auto-running an .html or .mpg would be useful too.

Hmmm, this may be dumb question but, isnt it the natural tendency of black holes to grow bigger in magnitude as matter is trapped in them? What if a self-preserving blackhole is created on earth and it spirals out of control? Will the whole planet be swallowed?

How To Map A Network Drive Note: This is for Windows XP
Casanova replied to EJay's topic in General Discussion
This is useful, but how can this be set so that some members of my LAN have to provide a password before they can map a drive in my computer? -
How To Host Ur Own Site In 2 Mins Php+mysql Needed
Casanova replied to doom145's topic in General Discussion
Hey, this is kinda neat. I can now run my own passworded, underground server! Im guessing this would be useful for those who need a php servert to quickly test the apps they are developing, or something like that. -
Are you refering to PERL? If so, yes it does. They have version 5.8.4 installed.

If someone actually followed that, they would soon die from earth disease or cloggled arteries. Neat idea though, I would love to see TV comercials promting it.

Well, at least using firefox means that one is safe from the massive ammount of exploits that already exist for IE. Since this is a open-source project, chances are that fixes will be released faster than what MS can do.

Bittorrent Client What is your favorite BT client?
Casanova replied to snlildude87's topic in Software
I didnt like Shareaza one bit. Even for files with many peers, the downloads were always under 10kbs, which is about 12 times slower than what I normally get with other clients. I have read that the speed goes up after you have been uploading to other people foor several weeks, but why would I stay using using if takes forever to get anything during that time? -
Bittorrent Client What is your favorite BT client?
Casanova replied to snlildude87's topic in Software
Hmmm, no option to vote for azureus? After trying many other clients this one is my favorite by far. It loads fast, has lots of plugins, and is very configurable. Another client i have installed is bitornade since its very small and simple to use, but when I have many torrents at the same time, I always use azureus. -
The school in which I used to be also was also blocking translation tools because students were using them to bypass their stupid filters. Fortunatelly there are many free proxies avalible so it was a matter of making (at home) a list of the newer/smallers ones that havent been blocked yet.

One ofthe biggest reasons people are still smoking so much is because of the social pressure to fit in. In one are of my campus, every day there will be about 20 asian students, all smoking like there was no tomorrow. I guess that being there and not smoking would be pretty awkward.

Im not too sure about having 18 as the line that divides wheter a person is mature enought to undersand the consequenses pf their actions. 17, and maybe 16, are a more suitable age, though this changes from person to person.

Uploading Files And Connecting To Ftp using WsFtppro
Casanova replied to OpaQue's topic in Web Hosting Support
Surf FTP is program i use. Of all the ones I have tried, this one loads the fastest and has no ads whatsoever. The download is also less than a megabyte too. I can even run it from a thumbdrive! -
Is the image in the signature area the finished product? It looks very nice, exept for its huge size. Was the animation done using tweens in image ready?

If you need a free image editing software, there is one called GIMP. It supports many of the features as Photoshop, so it has all you need to create a fancy logo. Download it at: http://www.gimp.org/

Now thats what I call creative advertising. Not that I actually would want customized smiley thought. They are too big and obnoxious. -
Where can I see an example of what this script does? It looks like it simply displays a different image when the mouse hovers over it.

Instead of making a separeate post for every sample of code, why dont you put them together and post them in the tutorial sections? Otherwise it looks like spam to me.

Its much faster and easier to upload things using a ftp browser since you can send all your files at the same time. Your ftp adress would be something like: ftp.yourname.trap17.com
