  1. Hey everyone, I got this from a friend. I thought it was worth sharing. http://www.popuptest.com/
  2. I don't see how that relates to this. I assume you are trying to figure out if I am a Republican or not. I'm not I don't like Fox News because I think they lack integrity. If it's who I voted for you want to know- it wasn't Kerry or Bush.
  3. I hope this wasn't already posted. I searched the forums for it, but didn't see it... so anway...I got this from another forum....We all know how excellent Firefox is... But want it to be even faster? If so, follow the instructions below.1:- Type about:config in the address field.2:- Set the value of network.http.pipelining to "true".3:- Set the value of network.http.pipelining.maxrequests to "100".4:- Set the value of network.http.proxy.pipelining to "true"5:- Set the value of nglayout.initialpaint.delay to "0"Line 5 you might notice is not there, don't panic. Just right clickanywhere in the config window and choose New+Integer, from there inputthe text in line 5 (nglayout.initialpaint.delay) and set the delay to0.There you go. Close Firefox, reopen it, and experience the web at amuch faster pace.Enjoy.
  4. How can you say that while you are "wasting time" posting on a message board. I think "wasting your time" on anything (in moderation) can be healthy, so long as that thing is not self-destructive.
  5. -from Drug Reimportation: The Free Market Solution by Roger Pilon of Cato The analysis by Pilon is very interesting and expresses my points on this matter. I suggest y'all take a look at it.
  6. I totally agree with everything you just said there. It's like it is said, just because something is legal does not make it moral. That is where I disagree. If someone lets another person use THEIR service, the owner has every right to delete anything that the user post, so long as they do not impersonate that user. Taking away this right is just wrong and in a sense taking away property rights.
  7. Quite a few people I have talked to also have 50 invites, as do I. It would appear that they are getting closer to being out of their beta version.... or maybe they are just being generous?I do see people all over Usenet are also saying they have 50 invites.Do y'all think everyone recieved 50?
  8. A user of a message board or a website owned by someone else NEVER had freedom of speech, nor should they. Upon becoming a user of a forum or being hosted by a website, chance are the person joining must agree to the TOS to use the service. Agreeing to the TOS is a type of waiver, in other words... you agree to waiver your rights. (Not that you even have any as a user of someone else's services.) Using a forum or webhost is a privilege, and not a right. You are using someone else's property, and therefore your rights are not applicable.
  9. I'm not sure I trust websites like this or this. Call me paranoid (many of my enemies do!) but I get the feeling sites like that are just a fancy way of collecting my email so they can spam me. Anyone heard of anything like that happening? Can those sig sites be used to get email addresses?
  10. My father lives in British Columbia, while I live in New York. You can imagine how expensive it gets to call on the telephone.... especially because he talks on and on.He and I now use Skype as much as possible. Like it was said elsewhere, the sound quality is just awesome. He uses the file transfer to send me pictures of the family up in Canada. I use the IM feature to send him a website I like. There is an option called "Skype me" which tells people not on your buddylsit you want to talk. I have used this a few times, but I really don't like chatting with random people. The downside of Skype is the lack of popularity. Almost all my friends are on AIM. If they all also used Skype, that would be good... but no one else (besides my dad) uses it.I guess I just have to force some friends to use it (with my ninja powers, of course).
