Well if you dont use the keyboard in mapping, then I would think you could do it with a controller easy, you would just have to get used to the controller. When I started experimenting with maps I used the doom3 engine. And I had to use the keyboard to script sequences and functions, such as a door opening and an elevator going up and down. To the way a zombie attacks at you, or even where enemies spawn. COD2 mapping is definitely not as complicated as mapping for DOOM3, or even the new games like fear. There is more scripted sequences such as doors for example. It gets even more complicated because almost ever door opens diffrently than the other and has diffrent operating speeds. It gets so complicated and its alot like flash in a way, because if you mess up the keyframes and the cripted actions, then the whole sequence wont even operate correctly. Its why I quit mapping for DOOM3, after I made my first map I realized what A waste of time it was. Just too much work for me. This is why I like simple games for mapping such as COD2. When you make maps for this game its usually a multiplayer based map only. Theres less scripting and actually less moving objects, other than a couple of doors that open and close using the "use" key.

I got 1450/2400 my first try. But Hopefully I will improve when I take it this weekened. I am confident eneough And I know I do have the capabilities of scoring maybe ven a 2000. But I would have to be pretty lucky for a 2000 lol. Hoping to improve my score by atleast 250 points. Witch would bring it up to a 1700. But I would be happy with a 150-200 point imporvement as well. And anyways theres no way I can score less than I did before right? I mean I have been studying since last time I took it for the next one and now I know what it is like to even take the test. I think that cofidence is key about the SAT's and really if you go in and score less before, its most likely because you had doubt in yourself or were not as confident. As for my grades, hey do you think they are solid grades? I know that the Algebra and Science both are week grades but hey. The semester is over and theres no way to bring those up... I have been working hard all year and hopefully it pays off. For some reason I always score A's in my Engligh and History classes. But its just those two subjects that I have trouble with. Next year I will be taking the folowing classes:ChemistryPre-CalculusLatin IIIEcon (economics)web-Design...... :lol:3D DesignI am hoping to get into a 4 year college. Im really exicted but also scared that my grades might not be good enough to get into a UC (my GPA- 3.2). But hey, theres always provate colleges and Junior college witch I could transfer over to a 4 year after 2 years. It doesent really matter anyways, all I can know right now is to work as hard as I can until I acheive the goals that I dream of. My only real goal is to be successful. I want my time spent in school to mean something. Thats why I have been going for so many years, and Im sure its the same reasons why other people stay too. It really doesent matter how well you do in things really, its how hard you try to do well.. This is what really counts to me in my mind.

Im having trouble preparing for the SAT and the Finals witch are both next week. Does anyone have some brief recomendations for me? Currently I basically just read the chapters covered for my textbook classes and for Math I just go over notes and do the problems and then I check my work. For the SAT I have a tutor I take every weekend. I got a 1450 my first try on the SAT? Do you think its bad for my grade level? How can I improve my scores? Im a Jr. in high school (11th grade) ill be a senior next year. (12th) The SAT is out of 2400 points. I really am hoping to score ubove an 1600 with the next SAT coming up. People say that your best score is always your first..... I really hope that this phenomenon is incorrect... As for my class Grades I have: Algerbra II: C Physics: C English III: A U.S. History: A Latin II: B Possible Problems: As you can see my problems are all related to math and scientific fields of work. These are the classes of witch I must improve. I scored low on the Math sections in the SAT and some of the critical reading. Some improvements must be made in these fields to improve my overall score. as for the essay I scored 9/12. So I dont need to worry about this. I will go for a 10,11 or even a perfect score next time. To make things worse I have a broken right hand, witch I had to get surgery on...I am right handed so I do have trouble writing and circling answers. It probably takes me about 15-25% more time to answer any one question. So do you think this is affecting my scores? Note: I receive extra time on the SAT. I think its about 25% extra time. Dont know exactly.

well, I know I like to play COD2! But ive never tried mapping or anything, but I play it on the Xbox 360 so I dont think any custom mapping is possible. I was thinking that they should release a program with the 360 so you can map and mod your games, but yea. I guess thats what the game downloads are for on the microsoft marketplace. Anyways its an awesome game. And I dunno why I didnt get it for computer but hey, overall its about the same for the 360 and PC. Unless your PC sucks.

Well overall I think the site layout is pretty nice, but maybe you could xhange to colors around a little.. or even give it that glassy look to it. Better yet make it more tech/spacey. Overall good job this far since you have just started.

One thing i have to say is LOL! I really think that this is a hilarious idea. And suprisingly a good one actually. With all those people out there spending non-stop 24/7 hours infront of their console of computer system this chair would probably be very much soring of the market. Only if it had a somewhat of an affordable price that is. The toilet is a good idea, but maybe things might get a little too messy if you know what I mean! Good idea, but in real life it would be too pricey.

I agree that it seems a little toom slow. And maybe just a tad like too colorful and like contrasted. The quality is awesome and I can tell that you spent plenty of time woring on it. I just got a 360 man, scary stuff. I mean cool in my point of veiw but scary for the developers. Also it wont work with xbox live so getting those hacks are basically for people with no internet.

Space / robot The theme was space, not sci-fi. I think people have to look deeper into the theme for the sotw entries. I bet we would see alot more quality this way. Also theme should be descripted with details, any questions dont feel down to hit up a Moderator with it.

Multiplayer? Interesting. Its a good idea because ive seen very few of these out on flash gaming sites. I have to say I have done one before and it was alot of fun. -But I have never really heard of a php game, I thought that flash was used and somehow these flash files could communicate and interact making a database within itself. Or it adds new information to sepparate folders. If I knew how then I could show you.. but I dont I only really know how to make interactive banners and flash sites sorta. Very Intestesting, the notion of being a conspiracy? Hmmm this sounds more like a type of study to me.. but darn! I forget what its called. I beleive they teach things like this in college. Its a class where you look at everything and uncover there true meanings. This means that if you get on a plane dopes it really move? I mean of course you travel across the whole united states but like does the plane actually move? opr does your mind change. And make you beleive that you traveled this far? Are you all on this forums just illusions of my mind? Yup woa indeed. Because none of this is actually a proven fact. Yea, Ill see what I can do flash wise. But what I am gonna do is try to link everything to a notepad file so you can edit it there. Its going to be a nice real simple flash. I have no idea what type of animations you want like a pop-out or rool-over type thing. -If you want I can take Truefusions design he made and just make that one into flash, but w/e you prefer really. Just hit me up with a pm linking the topic and ill do my best.-But again im sorta new to flash so its gonna be a little more time than I expected maybe 1-2 days if thats alright.
