Cool Signatures Comment on Signatures
skedad replied to laniczech's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Yes, I too agree it looks nicely detailed, but should be scaled down. You could still do a lot with that signature maybe even add some flair to it. -
I haven't gotten as far as 3... Gran Turismo was awesome, realistic... and hard to play! Not saying it wasn't fun, but man it got hard to control at first. Other games are similar, but once you try to get the handling down, then it is all good.I am glad to see that the series is still going... Just not sure when and how I will be getting back into it or not.

Street Fighter Opinions about Street Fighter
skedad replied to characato1405241476's topic in Computer Gaming
I have been a fan once it hit the arcades... It is just as fun, but when you are coughing up coins to play, you try to get your player down so you can rule and keep playing with losing quarters! That is how I started to learn and play... Then some other dude will come by and bump you off of your winning streak when coming into fighting against you! Then if he or she is better then you get bumped off and they keep going... But I have gone through a lot of coin battling people too!And then it came to SNES... and man Super Street Fighter 2 The Next Challengers came along and added every fighter... And you could change colors... and beat the main guy with his clone Bison.... It freaking owned big time! But that was the last I have played... Don't know about the newer systems and how it plays out... I have seemed to moved to Mortal Kombat... Now if Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat aligned MK style... That would be sweet!Midway versus Capcom Mortal Kombat style! Sorry got a little off topic.... OR DID I!!?? -
If I was not sure of a task, I would duplicate the layer and save it so you know that you can do anything you want and not ruin the actual design. On the dupe layer I would probably try to select the blue with either wand or replace color and then try to make sure nothing of importance is getting cut out, or that it is jagged looking. If on the practice layer, I would cut away and maybe have a light feather on it so that it doesn't look all cut out and would be more standout. I think I am getting ahead of myself, but I am just thinking as I type.Anytime you save as or duplicate items and layers, you are less likely to make a mistake that cannot be taken back... And you can learn from what does and does not work.

Nowadays, I use it as a means to vent, relax, and put extra burning night energy when I cannot sleep. I am married and have two kids... So I don't play and have time to play like I used to... So now I get right to the point in what I am playing. I love that I am a gamer, and always will be.It was fun at first to keep yourself entertained, and now it is a lifestyle choice. I think you like games, or you don't.Off the electronic series, I love to play board games and card games, too. So anything to keep me interacting.

I would have to say Mortal Kombat series. I think over any fighting series. Sure they have the same characters, but they continue to add to the roster... I think after that last huge whopper from Armageddon, it is hard to see a limited roster... Even with the addition of DC Universe, it is limited... I guess the new game is going to be like story mode, too.I have followed Mortal Kombat from the beginning, and have only played Tekken a handful of times... Maybe because I have answered the question a long time ago, and have been spending my time with Mortal Kombat... And I plan to try the new version with DC Universe.

You need to have $3 at the end of the month... Now it is starting to sound like my Credit Union. You have to have at least $25 at all times in order for your Savings to not kick in and keep your balance afloat! HAHA but at least in Xisto, I feel like keeping track of my site will not jeopardize my spending! But it is good to keep your eye on your spending here as well. I just plan to keep my hosting credits in check and then try to raise my myCents as I can.

I have installed more browsers, but it is not as exciting as adding on new programs. I have not been actively installing to my PC as of late. But I add a lot of extensions for my Dreamweaver, and it is all freeware.I plan to reformat my PC again and then maybe try new things... I am always up for trying new things... So maybe I could start customizing my programs that come in and it is easier when it is free to do.

So I am good to go, and as I am going through the motions, I am also reading up on what to do next. And I really wasn't sure how my credits and posts would turn to myCents, but I think I am happy with how much converted over! So I think I still have some more reading to do on what can come from this new system. And once I realized that the turnover to cash can work with purchasing extra goodies from Xisto - Web Hosting. So good jobs and kudos for converting systems over and doing well at helping everyone that is interested to convert over.I hope to think of this as added motivation to really get into my posting more, and reap the benefits as it turns over and converts to cash! Thanks all and I plan to keep posting!- skedad -

I just did the newer version of PS3 vs X360 and Wii. I chose PS3... And in this one, I choose the PS2.I have played Sony since the first Playstation, and will probably be good to the Sony product. I have overplayed my Playstation 2, like I used to overplay my Super Nintendo. My brother in law is probably collecting the XBoxes, and I will collect the Playstations. I played Halo on his Xbox, and we played others on both consoles. I overkilled on RPGs on PS2... like I did on SNES...PC games are ok, but I will not bog down my computer with games, when I play consoles. I like particular games that are PC only, but I don't get into it hardcore like I would with a console game.I use the PC for older console platforms... they are emulators... But I don't really seem to play them as much anymore... PC games I play are like solitaire and flash games.- skedad -

What Is Your Favorite First Person Shooter Game?
skedad replied to Jammerjd123's topic in Computer Gaming
Ok, so I just saw a Doom post, so I have played Doom and some Quake, but it was on PC, and it was basically to just play against someone who was really, really good at it... It was ok, but I also played Halo on PC multi-player, so we started our own Halo server and just played tons of Slayer, King of the Hill, and like Capture the Flag... Miss it, oh I do! But it is fun to play on our 42 inch and 50 inch... so it makes up for it... -
What Is Your Favorite First Person Shooter Game?
skedad replied to Jammerjd123's topic in Computer Gaming
First of all I would have to say the Halo series. I like all of them, and have played them on cooperative with my brother in law... we are still going through Halo 3. I like that if we get a little bored, we usually will turn on each other after playing for a few hours... it's all in good fun. After Halo, would be Goldeneye on Nintendo64... I haven't played any other James Bond 007 games, but I bet they would be just as fun. I again really got into the multiplayer mode, and would continue to play it today.I have only played a few kinds of first person shooter. This third one would have to be Turok for the Nintendo64... I hear there is a newer version out there, I just cannot think of which console it is for. I remember adding stereo sound to Turok... and man it was the coolest thing ever! It had the jungle feel and the sound was amazing! I just liked how it flowed from one part to the other... And it was cool hearing TUROK! Fun, fun game!I cannot think of anymore off the top of my head... I don't know if I would love all of the shooter games... but I like that it has to have a different spin to it... I love James Bond flicks, so that is how I got into that one... But multiplayer with others on really good skill levels... Killer! -
I have grown up with Nintendo, and then on up to like Nintendo64. I then turned to Playstation and have now felt like evolving into the Playstation 3. Once I started playing my Playstation, then the Gamecube came out and then the XBox, and so it is not that easy to just buy all of the new consoles. So I would like to keep up with Playstation. My brother in law has the XBox360, so then we can switch off on the popular movies once I purchase the PS3...I cannot say if it is better than X360, but that is what I will be buying and playing. I would think of the Wii, but it is a lot to put into video games...

My wife is away from our home, and it is nice to be able to send her a lot of things online. She has our laptop, and we send each other a lot of things. I have sent her stuff that were financial, and scanned documents. She has our digital camera, so she sends us digital photos online. I like that we don't have to send multiple emails with a few files here and there. So I am probably not going to use it on a daily basis, and it seems like if I need to send someone large files, then I will be continually using it. But I do like it, and as always, its nice to see more freeware and online services...- skedad -

It will most likely be more confusing if you are trying to pinpoint a lot around the credit system... You will find that when you start and when you find topics of interest, that you will be responding to more and more topics... And as you asked the forum a question with a new topic, you can still get credits asking questions with new topics... If you have a question, try to put as much detail to it as possible... It may be able to do many things... You will be able to get more of your thoughts across and could help with your question. And the second part is that the more you type, the more likely you will raise your credits...It never hurts to be yourself and ask what you need... There are a lot of good people here that know there stuff, and you can get a lot of information at times. Try not to repeat yourself throughout your posting, and you will be fine! Good luck and there are a lot of good places to start... If you are not sure at first, you can look around in each section and maybe add your opinion with a few thoughts!- skedad -

How To Make Realistic Fire! real fire in photoshop
skedad replied to theking648's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
That does sound pretty good. I would think you could attempt it at many different levels too... Maybe instead of the black and white you could gradient a flame and blaze combination of red to yellow and then smudge it... but the concept is still there... I would think once you start to work on it then you may want to make it it's own layer... You could start customizing any background or anything once you take it from the black backing...I like the tutorial, though... It looks good and it is a good start to make any kind you would like...As for the posting a few above... Some people will experiment with anything in their mind... Think of how something is made up and try to create to the best of your ability... I just try to create what I think of the best that I can... Trial and error... and soon anyone can start adding their own creations to tutorial for others to enjoy! And now adays, anything is possible! -
Well, already this sounds like a good thing to try. I do like to try different devices as long as it seems like it is secure and if it has a good reason as compared to other programs... And this seems like it is a variety of uses, and supports many types of extension files.I do get tired of trying to keep up with open with shortcuts... Trying to find audio files to iTunes, or having them not open in Windows Media. We have a camera that doesn't really seem to open with Windows Media... It turns video into audio, and then it doesn't open in Quicktime, so this seems interesting to try...I may have to try it and install it and see what I think... Will have to post then, too.

So I am wondering even before I check into signing up and trying things out... I already am having problems trying to keep up with my credits at the moment... And I just don't think I would be able to get up to 100 right now... Is that how it starts?? Maybe that is not how it starts, but I noticed that once it hits 100 it converts to another from of dollar. So if you sign up does it already convert your credits you have to myCents? Do you need so many credits to begin signing up!? I am trying to keep my credits from 10 to 20 to stay afloat... It is just hard to find the time and when I do I feel I am cramming for credits....I would like to participate, maybe I just need more information, or I just need to follow this thread a little more. Not to make it sound like rant, but it does sound quite interesting... It is like even more reward for keeping up on forums and even converting and keeping credits that may be damaged by bad posting. I hope to find out more and if it works out, I will be trying it out for myself!- skedad -

Skemb -- Site Preview The personal family webpage...
skedad replied to skedad's topic in General Discussion
Thanks everyone!I think that was the thing... I was making my family site too professional looking, and it just started to bother me. Like I will still try to make it clean looking, but definitely will drop the professional ads and banners and all that. -
I know that the mods and creators are trying to keep this professional, but on many of these new posts I am seeing Xrated materials that have been added... and not banned!!?? I don't have my kids on these posts, thankfully... but why would anyone want to start to ruin these posts with just filth... Don't these people realize that this is a nonthreatening site and that is just a horrible way to show stupidity... I would hate to leave such a great hosting site because of others ignorance... I have noticed that I don't care that people will spam with smileys on it... at least it is not Xrated....And some people need to learn to grow up... and if someone wants to post that junk, there are probably tons of forums that would love to see it... (for some odd reason)But I don't think this is the place for it...Thanks all....- skedad -

Skemb -- Site Preview The personal family webpage...
skedad replied to skedad's topic in General Discussion
I have revamped my site to a more basic approach. I just was tired of seeing my site continuously keep getting sucked into grand backgrounds with hard to match flash documents and such... and figured that going back to the basics with a little detail here and there may have been a good move at the moment... Or maybe it wasn't.... I love animation... always have, always will and I still wanted to incorporate it when I could without over killing it... enough to have fun with. And this also was a cheap plug for all to see my site again hahahahaha.... -
So I have seen it on the big screen and planned on renting it again to see on my big screen... and ended up just buying it there on the spot.I am definitely a sucker for the comic book super hero flix nowadays!

Man Adobe is really pushing this suites... I think they fix up a past version, then go right into a new one... Maybe I am just being a bit envious or jealous, even. But I am happy with my Photoshop CS right at this moment. If I ever really get some crazy amount of money some day maybe I would put it towards a suite. Maybe even if I plan to get into like Freelance... I am putting the freelance on hold to start a career in IT... so I will be totally happy with what programs I have at the moment...I like that it is a household name and continues to keep up the good work with Adobe products... Someday I may just put the money to good use... as long as I would be able to upgrade and not keep having to shell out a lot of money for new versions. This was really meant to be a good post and not a rant... hahha

Sorry all! I actually have taken care of this issue... I feel pretty dumb, actually... I was moving files and I guess an older version of my homepage I use for links overrode the other... And it was one with the older link to the cPanel... So all I did was overwrote it again with the newer links. It is all good... Thank you all for you help, though!- skedad -

Man I could feel pretty lame with my answers, because I have played so many of the MK and Street Fighters that it is hard to think of others...1. Mortal Kombat (Especially Armageddon)2. Street Fighter ( Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers)3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters4. Super Smash Brothers, Melee5. Killer Instinct... should do something more recent...I guess there were more than I thought.
