Yes, the insert button was the first thing I was thinking as the problem to.I'm wondering why this happens with her though? With me, I only get the problem using corel word perfect (which works great). Never has it happened to me outside of that program. So it's a little weird that it happends to her so often :S Oh well, should be solved now though. Thanks for posting so fast inflamous

WELL, since nobody mentioned the more obvious of problems...And I may be missing something here. But as far as I know, almost EVERY websearch bot looks for this file: robots.txt This tells the bot what it can and cannot index. Not sure if it will help much, but I'd give it a shot. Link to know everything about robots.txt: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Also, he's a link to a site which should help you do what it takes to get your website into a search engine. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

Is It Possible To Create A Cell Phone Modem?
spacewaste1405241471 replied to tansqrx's topic in Hardware Workshop
Sound sliek it would either involve a serious make over of your phone, or you'd have to get in touch with your current isp, and find out if they'd even allow you to dial into their network through a cell phone from another company. -
I've Uploaded My Site, But Where Is It?
spacewaste1405241471 replied to sickgrrl723's topic in General Discussion
Also, make sure that if you wish for your website to display as the default page for your Xisto site, you should delete the current indes.html file, and then create your own.index.html=most default of all default pages that servers use when hosting a website...Although, there are several exceptions. -
Welcome to Xisto, I hope you enjoy your stay :DYou'll find the community to be quite nice...And I'm sure you'll fit in with those two key interrests

Ie 7: A First Look Heres a rundown
spacewaste1405241471 replied to optykal's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Quoted from the Acid Test site...In which I had thought you read considering you posted the link. Also, my FF failed the test, but back onto the subject. Like the quote said, IE7 is still in the VERY early stages of beta. Things like missing buttons=Beta issues, that SHOULD be reported so they may be solved. Microsoft is working hard to advance itself (as you can see with Vista), so I'd recommend that if you have the BETA of either of those...You report the bugs instead of complaining about the bugs. Beucase frankly, I thought BETA versions were only given out to people who would do well with giving the companies feedback and the new version/its problems. -

I like the work so far.Animated, but not overly animated. The skate on really appeals to me however, because every friggin' kid 100milles from me does that :)On a future not: avoid the double posting like klass said. You don't get to slide very often -
Running on a cheap e-machines, which seems to get the job done just fine for my current needs.Cannot do much hardcore gaming, but I like it all the same

Disabling Firewall On A Wireless Broadband Router
spacewaste1405241471 replied to BlackWolfX's topic in Software
Depending the router, adjust the port forwarding or port triggering. You must set it to allow certain ports, depending on the video game. You can find this out by doing a simple internet search. This may not work, but it probably will.Chances are you need to allow ports for each computer to though.Sp2 (Windows service pack 2) blocks every single port with their damned firewall, so you'll have to disable that .Edit: Also, since this is a lan game. Make sure the right tcp/ip protocols are working on all computers. -
As Moody said, please be sure your camera is able to have high quality video capturing first of all.Secondly, yes, by increasing the fps you'll have better quality, as there will be less 0.0X second gaps between frames, makes it less blurry. But it also involves pixels.Try setting the resolution lower. ^--------But only do that if you don't mind having the video small in the witdh to height ratio. Also, try adjusting the lens.IF none of these work, please specify your exacte camera.

Hi, nothing to worry about from what I've heard .This is simply like that issue where several xbox's had problems sometimes. All you have to do is clal the manufacturer and then they'll tell you what to do from there.I do believe you're supposed to send it in and have them repalce the battery though. My friend had the same problem, and so that is what I'm basing my knowledge on.You might have to bring it to the retail store where you bought it instead though. My memory=Fuzzy

OR aliens. I think this was more a test of the precision nasa has achieved. It's quite ingenious. Because with precision like this, we could really improve our landings upon other planets, and further our research to maybe even...Other galaxies.

Stem Cell Research what do you think?
spacewaste1405241471 replied to bigredrosen's topic in Science and Technology
Right, that may be true, but stem cells from the unbylical cord, for example, are very restricted in what they can treat. It's basicly like, adult stem cells from muscle tissue can only treat muscle problems. Etc. I for one think embryonic stem cells are the way to go...Although, they bring up alot of religious problems....But with just a few embryonic stem cells, are the research methods have been perfected, only a few embryonic stem cells could save several lives. Here's a fun fact though: Bone marrow stem cells are the most commonly used stem cells to treat patients to date. Bone marrow stem cells can be used to create all types of blood for a certain person. They have been used in transplants the longest, and saved the most lives. Now, imagine if people hadn't been allowed to research mways to use bone marrow transplants back in the day. Imagine how many lives we wouldn't be able to save. -
I don't know much about brands or spending, but they are quite good cooling systems. However, I recommend only buying one if your computer is top notch and requires several fans to keep it cooled already. Most normal computers don't generaly need a liquid cooling system. This is just what I know though.Mind providing your computers specs.P.s. If you live inside a REALLY hot place, and your ac isn't that good...A liquid cooling system might be usefull to. As fans cannot get the job done in that high of temps.

What's The Best CMS CMS or not CMS?, that is the question
spacewaste1405241471 replied to honeycomb's topic in Software
I'd have to go with mambo or e107. Both are very reliable, and fast loading.Although, e107 tends to involve mroe freeware things...Like skins for example, and is slightly faster on the loading. Plus easier to use, atleast for me. -
Well, after looking over what everybody else said inside the forum and it's still not working for you then I would suggest the following: 1. Make sure the computer you are trying to access from your own computer is turned on and connected to the network (duh). 2. Make sure both computers are set up to allow sharing of folders and such. You can do this by: A.My network places. B.Set up a home or small office network. C.Then just follow the steps. [Also, try to make it so the workgroup fro all computers on the network is the same. It makes things slightly easier.] D.Restart the computer E. Repeat those steps for all computers on your home network] 4. Right click the folders you wish to share, then hit properties. Then go to sharing and check "enable this folder on the network". Now your network should be ready and able for sharing...But if it has decided to be mean I suggest you check the following: Hardware: -Make sure you have the right hardware specifications. -Check the cords -Try restarting the computer once. Software: -If you've selected something to be shared inside....C for example. Sometimes, most times, it won't give you permission to view the subfolders. You therefore have to set each subfolder you want to be viewed individualy. Or better yet, just drag what you want to be shared inside the: My Shared Folder -If a folder is checkmarked as private, then you won't be able to share it, unless you go to the main folder that was check marked to be private, then uncheckmark and then allow sharing. {Through all of which you may be required to restart your computer} -------------- These are just the basics and most probably reasons why your network is not working properly. I have no idea about the guest password option, as I never enable the guest account, and everything seems to work fine for me. However, I intend on trying that out now, as I've always wanted to know of a way to password protect some of my shared files . Thanks M^e. Oh, and if none of what I said works out for you. I just remembered that some FIREWALLS may block you from being able to access other computers. To get around that just make sure all firewalls let in connections from ip's like: 127.0.0.1 or 192.168.1.X Just the typical ip's for networks. Hope I helped. ~SpaceWaste

Internet's Root Dns Servers To Stay On Us Soil
spacewaste1405241471 replied to jedipi's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Yeah, I myself always wondered how they work and how I could one day configure one of some sort. To the topic at hand. I'd much rather the systems be handled by the UN instead. The us are my friendly neighbours....But they are slightly power hungry, and I wouldn't want alot of valuable date to be lost because the US wanted to have control over it. Although, transporting those 13computers could cause problems themselves, possibly. So I guess I'd rather just have them in the un if it would eb possible to guarentee no problems in transportation. Or better yet. The ever so peacefull....Canada
