I am also in the process of building a new pc, and i personally will go with a amd 64 (about 4000+ i think). It is backwards compatible with 32bit programs, OS's etc and i'm sure that the new windows will come in a 64 bit version (though i personally suggest linux).

That depends on what you call "not too long ago". My first googlewhack must have been at least a year ago. After looking at the site it appears that googlewhacking has already been around for 3 and a half years. While I aggree that it will continue for a long time yet (slowly increasing in fun as whacks get more scarce), however i disaggree that it will rise to equal the fame of pokemon. This may be because it lacks the complexity, or it may simply be because the characters of googlewhacking (eg. M, S or Z) just don't have Pikachu's charisma.

I'm not sure if I'm right but is it that you started violin at 2 and did a concert a 3? If so this is amazing. My niece is 4 and she could no more play the violin than slam dunk lol. Anyways I started out fine tuning my singing at in the Australian Boys Choir at about 7yo, I quit that at 10 cause I was kinda over the music and stuff. I then tried the keyboard and alto sax but again didn't really like the music we were doing so they didn't last long. Eventually I started playing guitar around 15 months ago. I love it and the music I'm learning is great.

I have put numbers in the quote so I can address each issue you have with the PSP more easily. #1-Personaly I would prefer 1 good quality screen rather than one one average screen and one 2d map.#2-I can think of very few games that would actually use the touch screen let alone effectively #3-Umm not sure what you mean here. #4-I admit that this is one strong point the DS has over the PSP, and what idiot turned Metal Gear into a card game, I nearly threw up when I saw that! #5-For what I consider a better console I can wait. #6-I will spend my money on PSP games simply because they are better quality. #7-The whole point of having one of these systems is so that it is portable, if you had the possibility of going to a computer on the train then you could just go to it to play games on as well. #8-Same as #5, for a better console I can pay a bit extra. No offence intended but this is an unbelievable comment, Nintendo has spent a long time developing the DS to be better than the GBA. Nintendo believes that this is better or they wouldn't have released it, however if you think you know better than Nintendo then perhaps we should boycott the DS and all go back to playing our GBA's. I have a Gameboy, Gameboy Pocket and a GBA, but this time around I will be getting a PSP. They have better graphics and alot of other great features (the most prominent in my mind being the USB socket which will allow online gaming {online centres already set up} as well as possibly future connection to things like a keyboard?) which put it in front of the DS's good games and past reliability.

I call myself a catholic but only really because thats what my parents call themselves. I only believe about half of the things the church preach and I only go to church at Easter and Christmas. I always thought that it was classified as a religion not because you worship a god, but simply because you have a kind of a guiding figure who you pray to, along with all the other stuff like a book and a set of rules etc. (very sorry if you don't actually pray to him and I'm just making stuff up)

Button Positions where do you like em
Darren1405241470 replied to Trekkie101's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I prefer the buttons to be on my left. I don't really know why, I think it's just that most websites have them there so out of habit I look for them there first. -
Unfortunately there are no usefull plugins at all for IE. Instead I suggest you download a completely new browser, I personally prefer Opera but the most popular at the moment is Firefox, You can download Opera here - http://www.opera.com/computer/windows or you can download Firefox here - https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/. Both of them are free and while Opera comes with a popup blocker you can quite easily get one for Firefox.

New Reputation Thing What do you all think?
Darren1405241470 replied to Darren1405241470's topic in Web Hosting Support
I didn't know that it was only mods/admins that could see the warning. I just assumed that no-one else had warnings. Now that I think about it that was a pretty dumb assumption . PS: where can I get a copy of Nils v 1.0.0? It looks good but I've never heard of it before. -
Experts Opinion Please... review this website..
Darren1405241470 replied to maximumx's topic in General Discussion
I am by no means an expert, but I'm kinda bored so I'll give you my opinion anyway. I'd say about 7.5/10. In the guest book the purple colour dosen't really go with the blue around it. I would put in a lighter or darker blue (just my opinion so probably dosen't go for everyone). I would either move or ditch the "romance" thing at the top too, it looks like a heading and is a bit misguiding. -
Diablo 2 Lod Help! Need to trade items
Darren1405241470 replied to Darren1405241470's topic in Computer Gaming
Thanx heaps. I downloaded "stu's diablo trainer". I had looked for something like this for like an hour and a half before i got the post. The only thing I hadn't searched was import/export -
I was ... well, I am being brought up in a house were my mother and one of my sisters is a practicing catholic and my other sister is a non-practising catholic. 90% of my friends and such are non-practicing catholics so that's what I classify myself as when someone asks. To be honest I have no idea wether there is a God or higher being, nor do I have any idea what the purpose of life is or if their even is a purpose for us being here. What I do know is that all of the religions so far have had many faults in them while with many, almost all of the "believers" have been very hypocrytical (there are of course a few exceptions of both religions [there are many strong buddhist and muslim believers] and people in religions [off the top of my head mother Tereasa was a very pasionate catholic]) and when asked about the inconsistences in their religious beliefs they were very good at changing the subject. It seems to me that we will never find the answers to many of these questions unless of course someone finds a way to prove that one of the scientific theories is correct, but upon recollection even if somebody did find a way to prove it I think that one of the churches would destroy it. As it is the churches hold allot of power throughout the world and many of the leaders of these church would not want that to change. Maybe I've just seen too many movie's. As I have said so many times I just don't know and I don't think I (or anyone else for that matter) will until I die, and by then it is a little late to find out the purpose for the world . Unfortunately their is no possible way to go directly to the source, for me or anybody. If you will notice the Bible was not written by God or even Jesus. It was written by men, and if you read the bible Adam sinned in the garden of eden so long before which is the very reason why Jesus was here in the first place, to repay our debt. If man sinned before then why not after. The point I am trying to make here is that the bible is again simply a small group of people's views of how the world was created etc. The entire thing could have been made up by one man for all I know.(actually I have often wondered whether the librarians would classify it as fiction or non-fiction ). Perhaps someone has evidence that it is real or was at least written by the people who signed it? Unfortunately the treasure hunter is often wrong but because he never does find any more the ships bell he doesen't know so. I can only hope that some day I will find the truth behind all of these questions. Until then I guess I will have to try to concentrate on other things and lead the best life I can.

Webdesigning Spell Correction ..
Darren1405241470 replied to wonbin's topic in Websites and Web Designing
You may want to check your grammar there because I think you just made a few mistakes, and of course grammar is equally as important as spelling in webdesign. -
There is no other sport in the world like Aussie rules! It is the ultimate combination of strength and skill, and the best part is that we made the rules so there ain't no-one who can beat us at it.

I do indeed have many of EA's games one of my favourites being Fifa 2004. Lucky for me however I haven't paid for any of them, I have a burner and the internet so I can just get them of a p2p program like Limewire. I do the same with alot of MS products (not that they're actually much good just popular).I find it amazing that EA have managed to get away with this for as long as they have. Don't they have some kind of union or something?

Promoting A Website really need help
Darren1405241470 replied to danagym's topic in General Discussion
I'm not quite sure what you mean but either way I have found the best tutorial on how to promote your site. I'm pretty sure that I've have already posted it before somewhere but I'll post it again anyway. Here it is http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ It will show you how to promote your site (including search engines and optimising your sites content). I hope it helps. -
Whats The Last Dvd You Watch And Rate It Out Of 10
Darren1405241470 replied to wonbin's topic in General Discussion
The last DVD I watched was White Chicks. Not the best I've seen but still damn funny and I'll give it about 8/10 . -
I have been learning (electirc) guitar for about a year now and I love it . Before turning to guitar I tried to learn Alto-sax and Piano/Keyboard but I never really liked them as I am really into rock/metal and you can't really play that with either of those instruments .

What OS do you use ?? was just curious about this
Darren1405241470 replied to gokul1405241470's topic in General Discussion
After using windows ME for 4 years no wonder you think windows XP is the best thing since sliced bread. I hate to tell you this but it isn't. Admittedly it is alot better than the other Windows versions but it still crashes periodically (I see you said yours hasn't yet which is very strange, how much have you used it?) and often gets spyware etc. Although I don't use it I still firmly believe that the best OS is linux (haven't decided on the best distro yet) mainly for it's stability/security. -

Darren1405241470 replied to rapco's topic in General Discussion
Actually its CSS not CCS but anyway. It isn't very hard to learn and there is a great tutorial on it at w3schools. There are also many other tutorials there which will help you produce even better work. -
New Reputation Thing What do you all think?
Darren1405241470 replied to Darren1405241470's topic in Web Hosting Support
I think thats a great idea although I haven't seen it done before on any forums, this is probably because some people would abuse this right to choose mods/admins. I think we should implement this system but once a potential mod/admin gets to the appropriate level then instead of them being automatically upgraded a message should be sent to OpaQue so he can give his ok first. This way people could still recommend who they thought would be a good mod/admin but the final say would be OpaQue's. BTW - The reason i'm the only person (that I know of) who has a warning signal on my name is because I am the only person who actually took notice of the warnings they sent me and stopped copying tutorials from other forums. Everyone else who had a warning never took any notice of it and kept spamming until they got kicked out. -
What Do You Feel Is The Best Game Ever? put ur best game
Darren1405241470 replied to khemso's topic in Computer Gaming
I cannot tell you which game I think is the best so I'll just give a list of some of the best. Diablo 2 is a great game with the expansion improving it quite a bit. Age of empires is definatly a brilliant series of games with an extraordinary ability to reinvent itself, and last but not least I have always loved the FSP counter-strike although I haven't played Half-life 2 yet .
