I think you made a good effort at translating the info into English, good job. There are some small errors here and there, but it's understandable. As for Firefox, ever since I tried it, I've not looked back. Its spped, ease of surfing, security, features, sure beat Internet Explorer.

Creating A Forum How do I make one for myself?
jcguy replied to Lukey535's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Well, it's definitely easier and more convenient to just install phpBB from your cPanel or go register for a free one at the free forum sites. But the advantage of coding your own forum is that you get 100% control over it's function, navigation feature and other features. But you'll probably take very long to do a decent one. -
Google Blog Search one more area of the Net Google indexes
jcguy replied to sparx's topic in Search Engines
I've tried it out already. It certainly takes the legendary Google search technology to the blogging world. It is better than searching for blog posts and blogs with Technorati I think. I like the ability to subscribe to a RSS or XML feed of your Google search. That way you can read new searches in your RSS aggregator. -
Wow, the new beta interface does certainly seems to look very cool, exactly like a full email-client which you've described. Looks like Yahoo Mail is investing heavily to fight Google in the email wars. A interface change for MSN Hotmail is necessary if they don't want to lose the battle.

I think Ebay wants to get the first-mover position in the VOIP market by buying Skype. Skype is the clear leader in the free VOIP market, and Ebay would want to have an advantage and buy Skype. It's like back in the old days of the dotcom boom. Whoever controls the eyeballs (read: visitors) controls the money and profits.

Cancer Cure? Anyone Know If This Is True?
jcguy replied to KewlKC07's topic in Science and Technology
I believe that we are making great strides in the battle against cancer. With the rapid advances of genetic technology, for eg we have mapped the entire human genome, I belive that scientists are getting closer and closer to the root of the cancer problem and how to cure it. But it'll take quite some time though. -
I don't physically pamper my computer. It's all dusty and old and dirty. I do run anti-virus and anti-spyware and adware programs quite religiously. I also download and install all update packs and program updates as soon as they are available for download.

Is It Worth It To Get Gmail ? Is Gmail Good?
jcguy replied to wazzupster0204's topic in Search Engines
It's very convenient to download attachments and stuff with Gmail, far more easier than the other email providers. Let's say you have 3 attachments in an email and you want to download them all. Gmail has an option for you to download all three in a zipped file. SO you can download all at one go and later unpack your files. That way I won't lose the files I downloaded. Or you can download them all one by one. And the servers seem to be much faster too. When I was with Hotmail, there were times when the server was to busy. I mean, come on, it's MSN's Hotmail and yet there isn't enough fast servers. -
I have A Creative MuVo N200, it stores on 128 megs of music. Personally I think that you cant beat Apple when it comes to the looks of their iPods. Their designers have done a great job really, they have led millions to crave for the iPods and they are wiling to pay a premium for it.But if you're looking for features, go for Creative. They have a much wider choice, players of all sizes and colours and functions. The sound quality is better than iPods, I've heard. The battery life is longer too.

Google Talk Googles version of MSN Messenger
jcguy replied to xboxrulz1405241485's topic in Software
Yes, you need a Gmail account before you can login to Google Talk. I agree that Google Talk will not be in widespread use because not everybody can get a Gmail account freely as of now. Even when Google starts to publicise about Google Talk, I doubt if people will switch from their IM program like MSN Messenger to G Talk, unless there is an easy way to actually transfer all your contacts and IM info over. -
Hack Websites using a simple javascript
jcguy replied to jcguy's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I apologise. I was in a hurry when posting that and I somehow neglected to put the content in the quote tags. I thought that an attribution to the source is enough, but now I know it's not. I certainly did not mean to plagarise and I didn't know that you can gain credits like that.Very sorry.. -
Sometimes, I come across websites that are very annoying, like webpages which play embedded music files or excessive animations. Seems that people who encouter such websites like me have a solution is you use Firefox. Just use an extension and you can hack and alter these websites and webpages! According to Wired (https://www.wired.com/2005/09/cruising-at-12666-miles-per-gallon/?pg=7): Notice from moonwitch: Use quote tags next time and don't double post - credits adjusted

Google Hacks: Google Stuff You ( Don't ) Know
jcguy replied to finaldesign1405241487's topic in Search Engines
It's definitely not easy to hack into Google, the security around their servers is way too tight. It's like trying to break into a high-security prison with only a crow bar. It's wasting time trying. -
Cloaking is a technique that is banned by the search engine. I don't think there's any way to cheat withouth being caught with Google or Yahoo!. Just focus on buidling your site up and attract more visitors.

I've heard of a recent case where a woman used Ebay to auction off advertising space on her forehead. I think she was desperate for cash to pay for her bills. In the end, a US gambling company bought the adveritsing space the the woman has to go around witht he name of the company on her forehead.

Haha... who knows, maybe it's some Apple employee doing it, putting worms into the Zens?Jokes asides, I think there is quite a serious breach of security here. Creative has to do more than this to beat Apple and kill iPods

Best Site That Offers Pay Per Click Service?
jcguy replied to mckenneth's topic in Online Advertising
The support provided by Google Adsense is fantasic too. There's many options in terms of the banner sizes, and the reports and click tracking mechanism is very advanced and detailed. All in all, Adsense is a very viable option. My only complain is that they don't disclose the proportion of money you earn from each click. Dunnoe how much google takes. -
I've read many good reviews about Picasa from Google, but I'm always averse to downloading and installing software on my computer. I'd rather have the software available online, so there's no hassle downloading and installing. If you're like me, I would recommend https://www.flickr.com/browser/upgrade/?continue=%2F. It's very useful in organising photos, although you can't edit or re-touch the photos.

Can You Recommend Any Good MP3 Players? Good MP3 players?
jcguy replied to joe91179's topic in Hardware Workshop
If you want good sound quality, tons of features, reliability, Creative is the best in these aspects. If you want people to look up to you and give you some "status", go for Apple. The other upcoming competitiors like iRiver, Sony, they are cheaper generally. But I'm not sure of the quality. -
Well, I suppose Internet users don't just look out for surfing speeds. We look out for other qualities like user-friendliness, ability to work across platforms, support for web standards, features, open-source support, etc etc. Speed alone is not a very good comparison.

I use AceFTP, it's a pretty good FTP client. The interface is clean and user-friendly, seldom screw up often, it's reliable and connects and deconnects fast. The free version shows an ad whenever you exit the program though.

I would love to give the other advertising networks like Bidvertiser a try, but I'm very concerned with payment matters. Google Adsense is very reliable and you know that they won't cheat you of your money or refuse payment. If the alternative networks are relaible too I'll be willing to give them a try.
