  1. I have asked the seller for postal address
  2. i agree... so i'm currently waiting on the refund (hope it happens)
  3. luckily seller offered refund for the item... it was advertised as DDR3 i don't know why the response was DDR5???? It was a new/used Item, seller advertised as new opened item not compatible with the intended motherboard...
  4. i know its DDR3 and the reason i bid/purchased it is because i already have one, was aiming at dual channel setup... DDR5 Motherboard RAM doesn't exist (yet) i'm hoping the seller will refund my $$ because i am still going to get another 4GB KVR module
  5. I usually don't quote/copy text... i just post the link, i am lazy hehe
  6. Just bought a Kingston KVR1333D3N9/4G on our local ebay (trademe), i tested it on my machine but it wouldn't boot - so i assumed its a board incompatibility, tested it on another machine (diff board) and it game me the Memory fault/issue beepsSo i emailed the seller reporting on the situation, he replied quote "You do realise this is a DDR5 fitting?"I was like, what the flip?
  7. when you say properly quoting, do you mean to add the link as well where the piece is from?
  8. i think the naming convention for most popular programs are fine, its the not so popular ones (maybe rookie devs? hehe) that seem to have weird file/folder naming conventions i.m.o
  9. Samsung stomping its ground as the king of mobile makers...http://www.gsmarena.com/analyst_samsung_to_manufacture_100_million_galaxy_s_iv_phones-news-5546.php
  10. hehe agree... these new phones usually starts off under a grand here $800~$900, at the moment since Galaxy S III launch last year, a 16GB version without LTE is around $700~$800 and the LTE version is still over a grand... (NZD ofcourse)
  11. Huawei keeps pushing forward with their high spec mobile devices... now the Ascend P2 looks awesome in spec http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ spec here:http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ these phones were available here in New Zealand
  12. totally agree... a lot of malwares are installed without the users consent, i use to get this when installing Winamp although i don't really use the program i remember a few times opting out of all the additional stuff it comes with (eg. toolbars, homepage for IE etc) it still installed them for some reason... but most of the popular softwares don't actually install malwares, its the small/not so popular ones that i find they tend to be a nuisance with these malwares
  13. that's why it isn't exactly a passive splitter (just a cable)... rather this MST Hub requires power, so it must have some kinda processing going on... think of it this way, you can have a network hub and a network switch... a hub on amplifies signal (delivering to all exit interfaces), where as a switch process/scans the signal and re-route them to the right recipient/exit
  14. yea i think i lack your patience when it comes to gaming hehe... i should try and find a work-around but i opt not to
  15. i'm currently using a 750GB 3.5" 7200rpm and 250GB 2.5" 5400rpmWindows 7 has 5x100GB+ ntfs partitions and Linux has 2x100GB+I mostly use Windows so those partitions are getting 70%+ filled
  16. i have tried using emulator for some of the games i play - Need for Speed Most Wanted, Street Fighter X Tekken and they don't seem to work
  17. MST Hub is like a splitter (but splitter are passive/duplicate), i think this device requires power so it won't be cheap (i'm guessing)... at the moment i will stick to 3 displays... additional MST Hub(s) seems costly... i'm not sure if they are out yet though
  18. found it - IncrediBar i think it was installed with some software i added sometime ago...
  19. looking at that link i notice that it only has the 7900 series on the list of 6 display capability... a bit confusing as other link says 6 for 7850
  20. yip there are a few controller emulators out-there... i have tried a couple and find them a bit confusing and some games won't work at all... i've used a couple of cheap gamepads and didn't like them, the overheads of configurations just isn't worth it (imho) hence sticking to Logitech/Xbox 360 for Windows ones
  21. yea that's the idea... like playing split screen split onto a screen each instead of being split on just one screen... horizontal split screen might work with eyefinity
