i think with cpu powers like this, i won't be surprised if netbook/laptop docks grow in popularity... just plug in the phone to a dock pad/laptop and continue working... plug it on to a dock at work and continue on working

thanks MC i will head that direction... on trademe i can grab hold of a VGA to S-Video RCA for around $8 shipment inclusivei already have DP to VGA, miniDP to VGA, and DVI to VGA adaptersi'm currently using the two miniDP, so i will try out the available ports and see if it will work cheers

so i'm wanting to connect my PC to an old TV (no VGA/HDMI input) with AV input (Composite)... now my video card only has DVI and 3xDisplay Port (1 DP + 2 miniDP)at the moment i have two VGA LCDs running of the 2 miniDP with help of miniDP to VGA converters... i also can find online VGA to TV/RCA converters would adding this VGA to TV/Composite converter be enough?

hehe this box came with Windows already in it it seems it already has the latest BIOS on... so i'll have to try some other way of getting a fresh install -

BIOS POST show up... even Windows Boot Screen shows... after that i get the "Cannot Display Resolution Cannot Display" message... monitor is an old Dell LCD 17" -
System Spec: AMD 64 X2 6000+ M3VMX mainboard (with VGA) /de/BrowserInfo.htm 2GB RAM 200GB HDD Windows XP Pro this box boots up but can't display Windows on 1280x1024 (native monitor resolution) so i get a blank screen i don't have a video card to use hence residing to onboard graphics anyone have an idea of tackling this?

I just scored a Case for $2 on local ebay (trademe) and came inside was this an AM2/2+ board, CPU (yet to check what it is), 2GB DDR2 Ram, DVD Writer asus.co.n68AM I haven't had an AMD machine since the Athlon Era...going through the list of supported CPU it shows some AM3 ones... does AM3 CPUs work with AM2 boards?
