Well since I never really used my hosting account for anything much, but I still kept on posting either to learn some new stuff or tell others about what I know and to check things out. None the less, just think of the myCent's as a learning experience on how to purchase actual hosting if you were to buy it from Xisto - Web Hosting or any other hosting company.

\ When your in the domain options select I will update my nameservers on an existing domain then of course just add in your domain name in the first box and or the TLD (.com, .org, .net) in the second box and then go from there. Ouch that kinds sucks, although I would think from your post though that your reaction was a lot more then you let on, especially finding out boyfriend is getting freaky with another girl like that. Although I selected cats for my vote since I have 4 of them, but I am both a cat person and a dog person since they are such good pets to have regardless what PETA says about owning a cat or dog. No you can still purchase a top level domain but you won't need to save 250 hosting credits but instead you would have to earn 1000 myCent's or $10 in order to purchase a domain when you either configure your hosting package or seperately through the billing site. Yes that is how the new system works out and as for your actual earnings but It won't reset to zero, say for an example that you have 199.00 myCents, well that 100 is going to be deposited to myEarnings while the 99 cents will stay with your myCent's. As for your second question yes the v3 system is connected with xisto since it is using actual prices, though a with a small discount for Xisto and Xisto members. As for 2.0 that will eventually disappear once the new system is complete and most everyone has transferred his or her accounts over to the new system. No one knows but my best guess that if a member does some good posting that he or she can earn a $1 in ten posts or less, of course tutorials will earn you more in one post. So it is just the matter of posting long quality posts in order to earn a lot of myCent's and so if your good in that area you can bring down to at least 5 posts that could earn you a $1 or more.

Don't forget that you need to post at least 5 times after you registered for myCent's to appear in your profile in order to start earning from your posting.

I can double confirm that after I purchase a domain this morning for a new site and I did a whois on the domain that purchase. So if you got a domain and your person information is your concerned then make sure to get the ID protection when you configure your package.

I haven't heard to much about that myself, but I would assume there will be no cap because depending on which package you get, every cent will count and if you write a good tutorial you can earn quite a lot from it. To answer your first question yes, especially your currently are being hosted the accounts under the old system will be deleted and so all your data will be deleted. As for your personal information you can make all that up, however, if you get a top level domain like .com, /org, .net you need to use your real information. However, when you get your hosting package you have an option to get ID protection which will make your personal information private to those who di a whois search on your domain. Besides your not using real money it is just a new look to the hosting credit systems, but think of it as a simulation as to how you would have to pay a hosting package with real money and trust me your not the only one as we had on Xisto a huge blow up because the TOS and AUP that is connected to Xisto - Web Hosting was a major concern for one member. To answer your first question no one has tried calculating the ratio of myCent's to characters in a post yet and I doubt anyone will because of the time gap to update the myCent's is so long that no sane person is going wait for it to update. It may seem harder but you need to post almost on a daily basis and they will have to be pretty long, I usually average $1-$2 a day in posts and so just as long as you can post quality posts you will more then $5 a month.

Welcome Trappers to another great year of posting and of course the Xisto awards, in which members are recognize for his or her participation in the Xisto community both in and out of the Xisto forums. This topic will be used for general information, updates and various other things as I finish up the new website with a new look and its own top level domain. As we all remember last year we had some big names and big winners and of course the prize pool of hosting credits for the winners. So now that we are under the new system at this time I am not sure if awards will be giving, I'll be talking with the admin about that in the coming weeks. It would seem that in order for myCents to kick in that you need to make at least 5-10 posts in order for you to start earning myCents. So once you register at the billing site doing some posting in the forums at least five to ten times and then an hour or so you should see it in your account and then your set.

In terms of layout need to dull the brightness of the orange just a bit because that sticks out the most and is quite bright. Also I would suggest designing content boxes that way you don't have to deal with repeating the background image when your content expands outside the original layout and I do agree you need to work on your logo just a bit more since it seems half finished.As for your statement about not being a designer I would say that depending on how people look at it a designers and a programmer can mean the same thing to some while others can seperate the two, but most of the time job applications usually say designer because your doing more then just programming but setting up the layout of what your program as well.

I usually watch Friends reruns more then Two and Half Men just because of the times slots these shows have been slotted to. However, I do sometimes catch an episode or two of Two and Half men during the week if nothing else is on even though both shows are equally good it is just a matter of timing for me.

Running With Scissors is correct that this is deal is pretty much obsolete now under the new credit system, but if you haven't transfered to the new system yet and have the 250 hosting credits needed then you might still be able to get that free domain. However, your better off getting a "free" domain through the new credit system since you can get it along with the hosting package at the same time without having to go through the process that was described i nthe first post.

I had this assignment in my racism, ethnicity, gender and class course I am taking to give an analysis on an article that follows one of the many ism's and I chose this one because it brough up a major issue once I did a little more looking. So read my view on this after reading the two articles and discuss this question that I bring up. At first when I saw the title of this article I thought interesting, but once I started reading it and eventually read the comments posted by people on this article I was like �Come on! Really?� The article did not go into too many details as to why they came up to this theory or rather a farfetched theory. Granted, stress has been a major factor, and, or a concern when women are pregnant, but to tie racism in as a separate major idea then a small factor is way out there. Although they provided some statistics for the mortality rates, and after reading one of the insensitive comments about getting pregnant, the article didn�t provide any pregnancy rate statistics either and so it would be hard to make racism a major factor without looking at the other side of this page. However, when Charmayne Lewis started talking about her story while she was pregnant it seems it could be possible that stress from racism could be possible. Of course, I did a little research into this and found another article about stress and African-American Children and this article really set the tone about the possibility that racism is a major factor in the infant mortality rate. Part of the article gave another example of the racism card played with a pregnant African-American, who had a college education and was financially stable, she was treated like she came off the street till she showed her insurance card and then the hospital staff treated her like she was royalty. Even though, Charmayne Lewis did not give her full story in the article, it was stated in the first article that she is married; it would seem that regardless if you were financially set or married. The hospital staff and even people who see a pregnant black woman would instantly think that she got knocked up by one of the twenty men she slept with and is poor with Medicaid with no financial support. So it would seem that classism and racism are major factors in this stress and could become a major factor if the studies prove that racism is a cause of it. So the question I bring to everyone is that do you agree or disagree with my statement and if so why? The next question is Has racism is the hospital system undermine the care for people who need it regardless if they are white, asian, black, latino etc?

I just realized something after it was mentioned to me, but when you customize your hosting package I do believe that if you select that ID protection for your hosting package. I do believe that will make your personal information private if you select that option, but I am not to sure about that yet unless one of those admin or velma can confirm that.

For those concerned with keeping their personal information private if they have a top level domain, please select in your package ID protection and I do believe that will make your personal information private from those who do whois searching.

Question #1. YesQuestion #2 You can default the rest and keep it at 1Gb of hosting and 10gb and that will be plenty for what you need to start with until your forum and CMS start to eat up space then you might look into upgrading into my space and bandwidth.Question #3 Id protection is used to keep your personal info private if have a top level domain such as .com, .net, .org.Question #4. Right now no transfer system has been set up for this, but I have feeling though their will be no transfer or reward type system for version 3, however, there could be onre just have to find out and wait.

You can choose month or annually but that depends on how much you post because on Xisto I can get about $2.$2.50 on a good day of posting there. Of course I be lucky if I get that there since I don't post that much on here, but if you can earn at least $2 in posting a day and depending on if you get a monthly or annually then you could make your payments within two weeks. As for what you need for your website, the basic 1GB disk space and 10GB will be plenty along with the 5 MySQL database option and since I don't know how your DB's are set up I am assuming its individual databases. As for the rest of the default options they come along with the default pricing and so if you look at the drop menu options you will see prices if you want to increase them. The FTP account is used to upload and download your files for your hosting account using FTP software such as FireFTP, SmartFTP and cuteFTP and for shell access is like a command prompt to the server to communicate with the server. as for transferring money at this time there is no system to transfer money to other members, but I don't think that system will be put in place though. Well its not about posting more for less, more like your paying for services that usually never free anywhere else and on top of that your not really paying with real money so it still free just the system is different though. As for the deletion I still don't know when that will happen or if it will happen, but odds are for hosted accounts that haven't been touched in months and are well into the negative hosting credits will be deleted. As for the active account odds are that once the system is fully operationally I think you will have a week before your account gets suspended or terminated. the logic plan has everything you would need and if you look at my example your forum and cms would work with what you need along with disk and bandwidth. As for a forum it doesn't take up a lot of space at first but once you get into 500,000-1,000,000 posts then you would want to look into upgrading your account to something bigger. The difference between myCents and MyEarnings is that mycents is used to earn cents and then when you reach 100 cents it will be transferred into your account and your will earn $1 and that will be adding to the total myearnings you have made since you started the account. to your first question, yes all earning you made on both forums will be combined and added to your account, of course you will be getting separate emails saying that your earnings have been transferred. The reason it is seperate is that your on two different website, I would assume that it could be possible to unite both forums under one script, but for now it will remain separately. To your second question as far as I know you do not lose any mycents like you would in the hosting credits per day. Of course, in order to earn from both forums you have to post in both but you don't have to and you can just post in one forum that you know you can maximize your earnings from. For your third question not to sure, but I don't think OpaQue made the my earnings private so I am not sure about that. Yes it goes back to 0 if you have exactly 100 cents, however say like you have 115 cents, then it will only remove the 100 and keep what is left order in this case the 15 cents.

Right now there is no set date for last chance of updating your hosting through the new system and as for what happens if you don't, last I heard your hosting account gets delete since Xisto will no longer running the credit system or that hosting package.

Welcome to the forums and like the two members above me enjoy your stay here on Xisto and don't worry we have a few members who just post without needing to be hosted. Either because they are hosted somewhere else or they just want to find a community to join to pass some knowledge around.

It is funny you mention that since I have yet to ask him about it ever since he first mentioned a few months ago I believe that he was working on some affiliate system. Of course, ever since v3 went online I haven't even ask him yet, but yeah I would agree that once the important things are taking care of then he will break down the affiliate system for us. I can't wait for everyone to start spamming or sig blocking their affiliate link here in the forums.

Well I just got back from the movies and saw the fifth installment of the Saw franchise and before I begin into the movie review, I like quick talk about the nachos I had. For some strange reason the cheese tasted watered down or was another flavor because it just tasted weird, I did finish them during the movie and what not but the cheese was just tasted funny. So before I get into my review of the movie let me catch everyone up on what happen in the first four movies and I am not going to use the spoiler tags because you should have at least seen them by now. Now I haven't seen any of these movies in awhile and so I might be leaving out some details or be missing some names and stuff but hopefully you get an idea on my brief synopsis of each of the four movies. Saw I The first movie introduces jigsaw the killer who doesn't kill but makes the victim decide if they want to live or die and of course we are introduce to one of his accomplices but you won't find that out til the second movie. Of course, we are introduce to many of the devices he used to fill someone with the surprise ending of him being in the room and standing up after the doctor gets out after cutting off his foot and locking the other in their to die. Saw II Now in this movie we are introduce to a group of people that all having something in common, they all got arrested by the same cop except for his son, and they all don't realize who he is later. Of course, after the detective finds jigsaw he see's his son in the maze of brutal death traps and the only way to get his son out is talk to jigsaw. Couple of hours later, the survivors find out who the boy is and so begins the man hunt on him and of course jigsaw's apprentice, but the catch is though this already happen and the detective gets trapped in their after the apprentice locks him only to find out the boy was in the safe were jigsaw was the whole time. So they highlight the first two movies knowing that a third is on the way. Saw III In the third movie we find out Jigsaw is slowly dying and Detective Eric Matthews is tied up somewhere in the building. So now we are introduce to a doctor who needs to fix or dies with a rigged shotgun necklaces and another man seeking revenge for the death of the son. Through out the movie the father has the choice to save people and obvious everyone of them ends up dead along with the guy who killed his son. Of course, towards the end Amanda admits to making inescapable traps which jigsaw totally disagreed with and so Amanda gets shot by the doctors husband after Amanda shoots her in the back and with that the husband kills Jigsaw and in turn kills his wife when Jigsaw was killed and so it concludes with all the events happening in the first three movies. Saw VI We know jigsaw is dead along with a lot of people, and so another officer takes the case as he tries to find Detective Eric Matthews who is still alive at this point. Just like the third movie, Rigg's is tested with various criminals in order to save Detective Eric Matthews, of course long story short most of them end up dead to begin with. Of course, the interesting part about this movie is that the events are unfolding along with Saw III and of course we are to the reasons why Jigsaw became who is with the loss of his unborn child from a junkie. Of course Riggs finds out that his final test consist of saving not only Detective Eric Matthews, but one more cop and another criminal but long story short we find out that Jigsaw has another apprentice. Also another cop who is involved in the case gets trapped at the end after killing the father who is looking for his girl and so he becomes trapped in the room with all the dead bodies. Which leads us into Saw V. Now obvious the ending of the movie leads into the beginning of the next and obvious we find out that the cop who got out of the chair is the next protege and so I end that info about the movie here. So as for this movie I won't go into too much detail and it pretty much ties up some loose ends of the first four movies and of course introduce us to 5 more victims and who go through a bunch of tests to survive. As for the traps themselves they were still as brutal if you became one of the victims however they lack compared to the other movies but of course their was a theme to all these death traps but still people dropped a lot faster because the movie was not as much about the traps but to tie up loose ends and making the connections. Even though those two aspects of movie individual would have bombed this movie horribly, they set this movie up to give each part enough time to be put together to form this movie. This movie was still awesome, but because of this movie being the fifth its going to be hurting in the box office I think just because it still continuing and if you know most sequels are cursed if they go more then 3. However, everyone was aware of a sixth Saw and so hopefully when that movie comes out this will end the franchise and once you see Saw V you will understand why they need to end it at the sixth movie. So now comes my prediction, well I would say that it will get over $50 million easily over the course of its release because it was pretty packed tonight, but I would say that opening weekend $15-20 million based off the history of the franchise so far.
