  1. I'm hoping to get a panasonic toughbook to take to school. Lucky for me, I'm the stuent computer tech, so I know everything on how to use the network. As far as it getting stolen, I believe that many people respect me at the school, and they wouldn't take it. For the others, they know I'm in with the staff, and that if I report it stolen, I will get it back. The staff will search book bags, and everything. I'm so lucky...
  2. Right here, baby. This is the sweetest car not on the market. P.S. I am a audiophile
  3. The first CD I ever bought would be *Clears Throat*Eiffel 65's album(whatever the name of it was)I bought it when I was 10 or 11, and it was the sweetest thing ever. That is what got me into techno.
  4. I went up and talked to the Verizon guy up at the local dealer, and he says that the 700 will be teh best smartphone ever. I personally don't have one, but I am thinking about getting one. Does anybody have one, and would like to tell about it?
  5. Right now, I have Living After Midnight by: Judas Priest for my ringtone. Usually, I do have it on vibrate, because I can't have it go off in school, So I barely ever hear my ringtone.
  6. Hehe, Bill nye was the man back when I was a kid. All of my friends used to ruch home to watch it, or they would have it set up to record whenever it was on. I can't believe he's already 50!
  7. Like most everyone, I always go back to google. Google personalized homepage is the best invention ever! I really use google more than any other web page out there.
  8. It's kind of dumb that people would actually believe that the FBI would E-mail you instead of actually calling or visiting your house. Anybody with a brain should know that the FBI isn't stupid enough to send a e-mail containing questions that you have to answer that contain personal information.
  9. yea, I guess I kind of forgot to include that little snippit of information. I'm going to plan on running CAT6(gigabit). Yea, it's going to be fun in a cement block house. Oops, I forgot one thing. The router/switch needs to be about a 6 or 8 port.
  10. I'm finally getting broadband internet at my house after 5 years . I need to set up a network, but I don't know what kind of router/switch to buy. I'm going to have a network printer, satellite dish, and 2 computers hooked up to it. Any ideas what kind to buy? Also, I need a print server for a HP DeskJet 940. I have no clue where to start on looking. Anyone have a good one, and would like to share what kind it is?
  11. It seems to be working fine on my Firefox. Are you updated to the latest version of firefox? It's at 1.5 I think. That may be a reason why.
  12. I just have one question: Where do you put the ammo? If it really shoots that fast, it would need a ammo box bigger than the robot in order to fire for more that 10 seconds.
  13. In my mind, Law and Order for the PC was the worst game ever. There was hardly any gameplay, and the storyline sucked. I fell asleep playing it.
  14. The weirdest thing i've eaten is popcorn. Just wait, it's not your ordinary popcorn. I was at the movie theatre with a few friends, and we were all acting stupid that night. The one guy bet me that I wouldn't eat popcorn out of the garbage can. Well, I did. It didn't taste too bad, and I didn't get sick, but it is still wierd.
  15. sorry I didn't post earlier, I've been trying to get my old hard drive back up and running. I found out that I had a faulty mobo, but I just decided to take that SATA hard drive back, and try to fix the old one.
  16. Ok, here it goes.Well, first of all, I just got my license a few months ago, but I cannot get a job because it interferes with all of my after-school activities. So, I have next to nothing for gas money. It used to be that I could save up my change from lunch money back in the day, and be able to fill up a 5 gallon gas can, and be able to mow the lawn. I can't even afford to fill up the gas can after saving the same amount for twice as long. Back before George Bush took the U.S. Presidency, I remember that gas prices were about 99 cents per gallon. That is about 1/3 of what it is today.I don't understand how in 5 years, the economy can change from a booming economy, with unemployment at a all time low, to a resession, going into a depression. Now, in the past, hasen't wars boosted the economy? WWI, WWII, Korea, etc... had all boosted the economy in one way or another. America is in a war right now, and everything is going down the tubes(except gas prices and Bush's bank balance). I really don't understand it. Can someone explain this oddity?
  17. You know what's really funny? When you go to fix someone's computer, and everything is pirated, and yet they insist that it is all legal, or, "Well... I have this friend...and... yea". I laugh everytime that happens to me. I just walk out, and say that I'll fix their computer when they actually buy the software. Well, I don't have many clients anymore.
  18. Come on people, haven't you played the Half-Life series? Seriously, I think teleportaion is going to become possible within the next century. What would really be cool, is if you could store all of your molecules on disk, and in a few hundred years, have somebody put you back together like you were before.
  19. Yea, microsoft invited me to download it, and It seems pretty cool. But, it is still a new beta, so I'm expecting lots of bugs.
  20. I really don't have a favorite color, more like a favorite hue. My favorite hue is dark. I wear dark blue, black, red, etc... I don't know why.
  21. I prefer mid-blue jeans. Especially those from old navy. They are so comfortable, I bought 5 pairs of the exact same pants.
  22. God, I know exactly what you mean. A few days ago, I was going to Micro Center to return a $120 hard drive that I didn't need, when all of a sudden, I hear a really loud pop from my car speakers. Come to find out, I just blew my front door speakers. So, after I returned the hard drive, I had to go to best buy and buy $140 dollar speakers. <rant> <--! This my related rant-->I hate it that I have to buy the best of the best for anything. The best clothes, the best parts for my car, the best speakers, etc... They are so expensive, that I can't even afford gas any more. Is there some kind of therapy that is offered to make people save money? </rant>
  23. The best thing you can possibly do for a computer is to go out and buy a good UPS (Uninterruptable Power Source). Basically, it is a battery hooked up to your computer. The good thing is, is that if you have a power surge, it will put the load on the battery, instead of your computer. Anyway, we had a Brand-New 24-port 3COM switch go bad because of a power surge today at school. It really sucks, because it was like a $400 dollar switch.
