  1. It's most likely that they are starting on making the ps4. My dad worked at a IBM plant in New York in 2000, and he was working on one of the chip production lines for the PS3, so it would be likely that they started on the ps4 a while ago.
  2. First of all, Happy Holidays to all of you out there in trap-land. This is my favorite time of year, not only because of christmas(this is the holiday I celebrate), but that my birthday is also 6 days before christmas.Wow, I really do have a lot to be thankful for. I am really thankful for my family. We are really going through some rough times during this holiday season, and I'm just glad that I still have them. I am also thankful that my mother's newly bought house is oficially hers after a 3 month battle with the county it is located in. I'm thankful for the citizens of Jefferson, Ohio for voting yes on a bill for 3 new schools, and a state-of-the-art auditorium. It's too bad I won't be around to see it, since I will be in college. There is just so much I am thankful for, I can't even list them all.My main hope is that the war in Iraq will be over soon. I know many families are being torn apart by having a loved one over in Iraq, and it is just devistating if one of them dies. Earlier in the year, there were about 9 or 10 people from a town near where I live that were killed within a 2 week period. I just cannot imagine what those people have gone through. My wish, although it may be a little selfish, is that I might find the right girl. If I'm lucky, before prom. Right now, I kind of need someone there for me, that isn't part of my family.I think, for my new year's resoultion, I'm going to try to work out a little more, eat a little less. Hopefully this will equal less body fat, and a little more muscle. It wouldn't hurt to concentrate a little more on my grades. And again, Happy Holidays to everyone. 3. I'm trying a little g-mail experiment at my school. I'm going to open a g-mail account, and see how many 2 line e-mails it can hold. I'm just starting to learn VB, and I have no clue how to even start this project. I'm hoping some of the awesome minds out there on the forms can help me.
  4. Well, this is my review of Netzero Hi-speed dial-up. First of all, unknown to most, Netzero is a subsidary of United Online, which also owns Juno dial-up internet. Pros With the 15 dollar per month fee, you get a 1gb mailbox, 5 e-mail adresses, the accelerator software, and a reasonably fast dial-up connection. The e-mail is very nice, but is not the best. There are not many pros. Cons This will be the larger section. First, you must use the Netzero software to connect to their network. This would not be a problem, except for the fact that it contains ads, and it does not work for linux. In the US, there are always ads on the tv for the accelerator software in which they claim that you can surf at broadband speeds. So far, I have yet to see a improvement on my surfing speed. In fact, on my gaming PC, I have seen a drop in surfing speed. The software does not work in firefox. The image quality is terrible, even with the acceleration at minimum. I have also witnessed a large amount of connection drops. I am going to give this product 2 ratings, one for the average user, the other for the computer guru. Average user rating:8 out of 10 Computer savvy user rating: 4 out of 10
  5. Man, I hate it when that happens. Usually, I only dream when I'm really tired, and I sleep for over 9 hours. I used to keep a book on my dreams, like what they were about, how long I slept, what I did that day, etc... and I figured out a strange pattern, which I won't go into great detail about, but I figured out that If I watch a movie with comedy, I get dreams about normal life. But anyway, it is usually my cellphone, or my computer that wakes me up right before the good stuff. It's almost like my dream knows when my alarm goes off, and just tries to torture me.
  6. I know what you're talking about. My grandma had the exact same thing happen to her. I had to just hack the plastic thing off. The people at these companies really need to use their heads, and put out a product that you can use easily.
  7. RIght now, I have Macromedia Studio MX 2004. I have no problems with it, but I've heard that studio 8 is also very good. I know that 8 has some inprovements, but is it worth paying another 400 dollar to upgrade? Thanks in advance.
  8. Does anyone here use a newer Panasonic Toughbook? I'm just wondering how good they work, because I'm thinking of buying a newer one off of ebay. For all of you who don't know what a Toughbook is, it is the world's toughest laptop. The case is made out of a magnesium alloy, and all of the components have shock-dampening measures. The keyboard and pointer are splash-proof, dust-proof, and soda-proof. Some of the newer models have the capability to use cellular networks to transfer data, surf the internet, etc... Anyway, I'm hoping someone has one, and can tell me how some of these features work.
  9. Well, I'm not old enough to get the broadband myself, otherwise I would buy it in a heart beat. Regarding the dial-up with linux, for some reason, netzero will not authicate the connection without the netzero software. It really sucks that my parents just don't get the point.
  10. I've been asking for DSL or cable internet for over 3 years. My parents seem to think its not worth the 35 dollars to upgrade. We are paying 15 dollars now for the Netzero 3G(which doesn't work with linux). My parents also get extremely mad that I take up so much time on the phone, but they won't do anything about it. It just doesn't mane any sense to me why that they won't spend 20 more dollars to get broadband.
  11. Man, I hope my prom goes better than that. I've never been to a prom, and I'm hoping to find someone before the dance. I've heard good things about our prom, but I'm going to have to see it for myself.
  12. Now, I know that many people don't know how to change their own oil, and most cars are slightly different. So, I'll try to explain this the best I can.The first thing you need to do is to check your owners manual for what type of oil to use, and how much. You should usually buy one more quart than you need, to help flush the old oil out.Step 1: Jack up the engine end of your car, so you can easily get under the engine. Make sure that the car is secure before going under it.Step 2: Next, you will be looking for the oil plug. It is under the engine, usually under the oil pan, there should be some kind of large bolt. The bolt should stand out.Step 3: Get a large tub or bowl, and place it under the oil plug.Step 4: Remove the plug, and let the oil drain out. This may take a few minutes, depending on oil temperature, and age.Step 5: If you like, you can replace the oil filter at this time. Just unscrew it from the engine, and empty out all of the oil in it. Replace the filter with a new one.Step 6: Replace the plug, and open the hood.Step 7: Find the oil filler cap, get a funnel, and pour a quart of oil into the engine. After you do this, remove the plug, and drain that oil. This will help to clean out all of the old oil. after all of the oil is out, replace the plug.Step 8: Go back under the hood, and start filling the engine back up with oil. Make sure to constantly check the dipstick to make sure you don't over-fill the engine.Step 9: After you fill your car up with the right amount of oil, replace the caps, and lower your car.Congratulations! You just changed your oil.
  13. I've been using AVG for a few years now. It's free, and it works well. That is all that counts for me.
  14. It's not that my job sucks, but it is extremely boring and stressful.I work as a student computer tech at my high school, with 3 others. I'm the only one that really knows what I'm doing, thus I do all of the work. The actual IT guy is lazy, and Just plays aroungd with dreamweaver all day, and leaves me to do all of the hardware troubleshooting. The stressful part is that all of the teachers depend on my work, because all of the grade software and attendance is all done by computer. I do love my job, but I do wish it could be a litthe easier on me.
  15. I can't wait until I finally get one. I've heard many good things about them, but I really can't wait until halo 3 comes out. Then, I will know for sure if I'm impressed with it.
  16. My favorite is either the AU-300 (bullpup) or the terrorise equivilent. I do also like the M4, and the AK, vut I strive for thge accuracy you can get with a scope. For pistols, the deagle would definately be my favorite.
  17. I keep hearing commercials for the ROKR from cingular. They say that it has iTunes, and can hold a few hours of songs. Does anyone have one of these phones, or has used one, and can post some pros and cons about it? My contract for my wireless provider is up in a couple months, and I'm starting to look around for providers and phones.
  18. Sorry about not giving enough information. It needs to be about 450x150 pixels. The whole site is going to be kind of a DOS-Shell kind of look, so it has to kind of fit in with that. It would be nice if it kind of had a matrix-look, but it doesn't have to. I'm really up for almost anything, and I'm not a stickler for prefection.
  19. Personally, I like steam very much. It is the only real way to get the good games, and they have fixed many bugs with steam 3. And yes, I do think there should be a steam sub-forum.
  20. I'm looking for someone to make me a banner for my web site. It needs to say something about "Kevin's Site", or something along the lines. It needs to be kind of abstract, or modern. The site colors are: Background:#00000; Text:#00CC0CThanks in advance!
  21. In my Algebra II class, the teacher gives the homework list for the next 12 weeks. This way, you can get all of your homework done weeks in advance. I do agree that most teachers do give way too much homework. But, I do think that the homework is beneficial to my learning experience(except for homework in computer class).
  22. Well, now I know not to buy this game. I really like the CSS AI. Especially on the hardest setting, playing on Office.
  23. I really don't know how you would compare the two companies. The only product that competes with each other in their graphics programs, which are in a dead heat, in my opinion.
  24. I completely disagree that Firefox extensions such as adblock will lead to the downfall of the internet. First of all, there is only a small fraction of people who use firefox over IE. Most of the people that do use firefox don't even know what an extension is, they are just referred to it by a friend or website such as this. Secondly, most websites can afford to have paid hosting(I don't see many websites with ads on them anymore), or they have hosting such as this.
  25. Wouldn't be possible to have a terabit connection anywhere? From what I understand, If you could somehow manage to get a few hundred T1 or T3 lines together, have a computer dedicated to networking(it would have to have over 100 network cards), and bridge all of the connections, I think it would be possible. Not logical, or cost effective, but I believe it would be possible. Anyway, that would be sweet to have a terabit connection, but it would never be able to get out to where I live. I would never have any lag in CS.
