  1. Wow only 10,000. But wouldn't using less people take longer to build the pyramid? I mean I can understand wanting to cut your time in half by using more, but I can also understand using only those who knew what they were doing. I know that the Egyptians developed some pretty interesting methods for completing tasks. I mean a race of people that can mummify a human sure as heck can do many other amazing things.... Makes you wonder that if the Incas had any sort of ancestral background with the Egyptians.... a long unspoken past.
  2. Well i imagine it's for security purposes. I mean don't you feel good knowing they DO have such stringent practices in place to make sure YOUR money is safe with them? I feel better knowing my account is being watched like a hawk. Prior to ebay buying them, I had an account that got hacked. He spent $300 of my money buying domains and hosting. And Paypal and the bank in which my account was attached to, both refused to do anything about it, and I would up owing the bank the $300.00. I even filed a police report, but since it happened outside the US technically, they could do anything. So I would be happy knowing they are watching all account activity.

  5. Hmmm... not that I am a genius or anything, but I still ask this, if chaos supposedly reigns, how do you explain the simple sphere? It's nature's, or the universe's simplest shape and it's, for lack of a better word, perfect.
  6. Ok here it goes:Take any 5 consecutive numbers and write them down vertically on a sheet of paper.i.e.:12345Now going down the line, square these guys and write the answer to the left:1*1=12*2=43*3=94*4=165*5= 25Now, going down the line again, take the smaller total and subtract it from the total below it, and write it between the 2 to the right, like so:1 >34 >59 >716 >925And do it one more time with those answers: and you will always come up with the answer 2.I am not sure why this happens, but here is the next cool part (Don't ask me why I thought of this in the shower, I have no idea why)Take another set of numbers, they have to be consecutive and cube them and do the same process, the answer will always come out as 6. (You may have to increase the number of consecutive numbers, in order to subtract all the way out to the common answer)Ready for the next cool part, want the answer to if you did those consecutive number to the power of 4? The answer will always be 24. Want to know how I know that? All you have to do, is take the subtraction answer of set 1 and multiply it times the power of the next set.So like this:Set 1, the set you multiplied by a power of 2, it's answer is 2Set 2, the set you multiplied by a power of 3, it's answer is 6 (2*3)Set 3, the set you multiplied by a power of 4, it's answer is 24 (6*4)Set 4, the set you would multiply times a power of 5, it's answer will be 120 (24*5)And then after doing a bunch of those, and subtracting all those answer out, somewhere down the line it all comes back to 1,2,3,4,5,6,...etc. Weird huh?Explain that one for me. Or if you need me to, I'll do it on paper and scan it in, if it's confusing to you guys and gals.
  7. While they were dragging these blocks up the incline, was there any kind of breaking mechanism in place just in case the ropes or hooks broke loose? I think it would be kind of hard to get this thing in the air and onto the logs to begin with, but half way up the ramp, I don't believe there would have been a crane type device to put it back on the logs, or else they would have used that to move the block into place to begin with.
  8. Well there are 2 schools of thought on this kind of thing.1) Welfare fuels a bad economy2) Lack of education fuels unemploymentBut saying that you need a college degree to get a good job, well... that's not exactly true. Work experience can sometimes, and most often is substituted for book knowledge or a degree.People of welfare are there for a reason. They don't want to work. Quite frankly, if you want to work, you go get a job. If you do not want to work, you go on welfare, at least that's the way it is in most major cities in US.Although setting up those work centers is a great idea, they have done it, and some, only some people take advantage of it. I mean let's get real here. If you have been living on welfare for any length of time, you realize, that you can get, housing, food, clothing and insurance all on the taxpayers dime. What's the point of working, if you can get by, by not working. It comes down to morals and standards. If you really want to work, you get your butt up and go fill out an application. Simple as that.
  9. WHAT?!?!?!?!?!Apple on Pizza? Are you kidding me? No way.Is it really that good? I never thought of that. Hmmmm.........Apple Pizza Pie
  10. I used to love photography, and I guess I still have an interest in it, but it does lose it's pinash after a while, just because I can't buy the latest and greatest cameras out there. But again, you should be able to take a great pic with a polaroid provided you know what you're doing. But I found an advantage to having ADD, I have a lot of hobbies. And they keep me busy. SO if I get bored with one, I just move onto the next, and so on, till eventually I come around full circle and start on that one hobby again.
  11. I think you should try anyway. The main purpose of these contests is to yes find a winner, but the underlying purpose is to help each of us get better. The people who are currently involved int his seem to be of good character, and I am sure you will get constructive criticism. Which actually I am hoping to get. because there is no way to know if I am doing some techniques right or wrong without others input. I promise no one will laugh or put ya down
  12. I like Ubuntu....easy to set up easy to use, great interface... just love it
  13. I don't know about that. I mean you can predict where the nest surface area is going to be right? I mean I have seen programs zoom in on fractals, and they all have symmetry to them. Is that really chaos?
  14. Ok here it is.... freestyle entry. Hope you like it.
