George Bush

Recommended Posts

Bush just has problems talking. He's actually smarter then kerry. He got better grades than Kerry in his classes. lol. But nonetheless people still hate him and call him "dumb as a doornob." i still don't get the doornob part. anyways. People find reasons to point to some side. We all do. When Democrats do a bad thing Republicans point the finger to them and vice versa. Its all politics. But Bush doesn't have any great plans for the environment. He's all war and money.

Wow, I never knew he did all that. Since I live in some other country, here I was thinking that US was better-off... WAAY better-off than we were. Guess I was partially wrong. :D Here, we have a president who wasn't elected on her first term, but became president due to illegal rallies to force the previous president (who was reported to have spent the people's money gambling) off the throne. Then, she didn't do much good! Then, when the next elections came up, she CHEATED! And she publicly admitted it! Now our economy here is plunging... Well, I admit that I knew Bush started a pointless war in the first place. What did Iraq have to do with it! If the deed was done by a person and his lackeys, does it mean that a whole country is to be responsible? I don't think so. I mean, if an American did destruction to a vital building in one country, does it mean all Americans are to blame? Definitely not! Plus, you don't have to wage a war in a snap. War isn't pretty, and people who try to solve decisions recklessly by starting war end up corrupting themselves. Was it all to draw attention to America and make them heroes?Did you notice that when a "good guy" kills a "bad guy", instead of bringing the good guy to jail for murder, the good guy gets all the praise and becomes a hero? Did anyone consider that the "bad guy" has a family and children to raise? Did anyone think that the people close to the "bad guy" will suffer for doing nothing? But if the bad guy kills a good guy, the bad guy goes to jail. It's such a horrible thing to think about. Because of proclaimed self-righteousness, you have no right to pay for your actions. :(

Not only did Georgie cut funding on the process of rebuilding the levee system in New Orleans, He handed the contract for reconstruction to Haliburtan on not a silver platter, but a f***ing platinum platter. Now, I do understand that this contract was made in 2003 with Haliburtan for all reconstruction efforts during the contract period. I still don't understand why Georgie can't even be decent enough to let the unemployed workers of America get a chance to make some money to help rebuild the economy, but he just keeps on giving more money to the rich people, so they can keep on getting richer. Yet, my father is currently working about one day a week as a union electrician, and it's hard to justify going to work, when your paycheck won't even cover the price of gas to get to work. The president says that the unemployment rate is going down. He is lying out of his a**hole. The only reason why the rate appears to be going down, is that it is only calculated by those recieving unemployment benefits. The unemployment claims are starting to run out, and those people will no longer be computed into the unemployment rate, until they can re-open their unemployment claim. Now, to the election. You all know those electronic voting machines made by Diebold? If you haven't heard, California and a few other states have stopped use of these machines because of the ease to forge results. Diebold workers were caught working on the machines, after the inspection and sealing by the state and local officials. Now, isn't it a little bit odd that Georgie is very good friends with the owner of Diebold? In fact, they used to golf together on the weekends before Georgie became president. I live in the battle ground state itself, Ohio. There have been many news stories how or govenor is extremely corrupt, and I believe the news said that parts of his administration stole coins from the U.S. mint,or something like that. This had happened months before the election. There had been a federal investigation ordered by the federal government, which is mostly Republican, as is Govenor Taft. Isn't it odd that they find all of this out just a couple weeks after Bush was sworn in again? I don't like to say it, but most of our government is corrupt. I'm not saying that Georgie spearheaded the entire thing, but I believe he is involved. The numbers show that he isn't a good president, and so do his approval ratings.

Karl Marx's puppet? LOL.Quite the opposite.

Was gonna say: George Bush a puppet of the guy who dreamt up socialism? How does that work?

How is it possible that Japan's gasoline prices have just barely inched up over these past few years, at about 3% per year, while USA prices have doubled or more?

That's not just a US phenomenon - Australia's petrol prices have nearly doubled in less than a year too.

Firstly I want to have a good laugh  I'm not an American and my feeling about George Bush is plain and frank. I feel that Bush represents today's Americans. It's not that Bush is too bad and everyone else and America have become like respected members have opined here. He is the representative of today's Americans. They couldn't think of a more courageous President than George W. Bush. Kerry was no match to his macho style of acting. To blame the down fall of the American economy and other things solely to Bush is unjustified. Its that America is somewhat falling from what everyone is expecting of the country. Because the period of Americana will also come to an end like the great era of British and Romans. It is therefore unwise and foolish of us to say that Bush is an idiot. Are you more wise? Why don't you become your President? Its the frustrated quarters who are blaming everything on others. Job lose? It could happen to other President as well. what's the use of retaining jobs which will only eat up the country? My conclusion is that America, while facing terrorism in and out of the country needs Bush and Bush represents what Americans are today.

I'm sure GW is a very nice guy if your his friend. Heck, I'd love to be one of his buddies in the top levels of Haliburton right now! But lets face it, if you're an American, you're seeing the US Constitution eroding before your eyes through the Patriot Act. You're seeing money being spent to destroy a foreign nation that was no threat to us (Iraq) and then more money spent to rebuild it. And now you're seeing money spent to rebuild a part of our country (New Orleans) that will very likely end up under water again within the next three years.

I work in the Federal Government myself, so I see the BS trickled down from the very top every time a new administration takes over in the White House. Most of the BS I've seen is disturbing, but tolerable. But what we're dealing with now are forces that are destroying the fabric of this country.

We are fighting against an idea (terrorism) and calling it an enemy. Gas in Iraq, is $0.05 per gallon and we're paying $2.75 per gallon where I live. And the conflict of interest and outright ethics violations that were committed to award and maintain Haliburton as the prime contractor for Iraq, not to mention the Haliburton subsidiaries working in New Orleans, are atrocious.

That's all for now. But next time, I'll tell you how I really feel! :-)

I don't have enough time to read through this whole topic, so excuse me if someone has already pointed this out, because I know people are thinking that bush is directly related to the gas prices rising. He's not. Gas prices are rising all over the world because of high demand from mainly the US, India, and China. Both India and China's economies are becoming more developed, more people have more money, so the result is supply and demand.

I don't think anybody blamed him for the oil price, actually I think it should rise at least to $10 - to properly reflect the real cost of our oil consumption. But that is just my humble opinion.

No, Bush is not responsible for the fact that we are reaching a level of oil consumption where we will run out of oil pretty soon (Peak Oil anybody) and of course he does his best, afterall he invaded Iraq just to make sure you can fill your H1. No, we are criticizing him for doing a botch job at that. (as well). He only sent in so few of the finest this country has to offer that Iraq is now controlled by the Iranians. He did a fine job at that, which means instead of gaining greater independence and securing more oil for the US, he actually managed to give the worst enemies in the Axis of Evil control over the US futures. He is an utter failure, not even Kerry could have messed it up THIS bad.

Well the oil price is high for our country but i think it should go even higher so people will stop *BLEEP*ing and use more fule efficent vechicals unlike the hummers that get 5 gallons per mile. If you really think the prices on oil are high it's not bushes fault it is the hippie tree huggin enviormentalist's. It isn't that we cant get the oil out of the ground fast enough we can do that but what we cant do is refine it and the enviormentalist's son't want any. All enegry cost's are rising because of THEM.

Oh, yes I blame the environmentalist for all the smog and destruction of wild live and the asbestos and the environmental damage due to insufficient filters and the poisoning of our rivers and the sealing of our landscape with roads and the killing of hundred species every day. It is the environmentalists fault that hurricanes are getting more frequent and more severe. It it the tree huggers fault that the polar caps are melting. It is THEIR fault, that we will run out of OIL in 2050 since world consumption will rise and there are only limited oil resources. It is NOT my fault and can only complain that they are trying to make the world of MY grandchildren more liveable. WHAT do I care about my Grandchildren? They are not even born yet?

And what do I care anyway? I sit in my air-conditioned car and spit on them - well I have to open the window for that one, but that little bit of finger wiggling will be manageable.

THE HURRICANES GETTING MORE VIOLENT. you cant blame that on people. Fact:one large volcanic eruption causes more polution than all the polution mankind has ever produced. As for the hurricanes that is part of a natural cycle. The enviormentalist's hinder the progress of mankind. Soon earth will be used up and by that time we will move on but for now jus lets do what we wish with it. And exactally what do you care with tour grandchildren like you said they arn't borne yet. But there are ways to make cares more efficent like an suv getting 200 miles per gallon the idea was sold to the car companies and they threw it away. it's not our fault thet opec screws up on a regular basis.

It sounds to me like your an enviormnetalist but you should change quickly ecause someday real soon enviromentalist's will be getting something they dont like.

If the envormentalist's had their way we would be living in caves and starving because we have no food to eat because eating anything would harm a living thing

are you threatening me?

Well, you might call me an environmentalist, and maybe I am one. It is a pity that you don't seem to be able to see the worries that I have and that you lack the compassion to feel anything for the next person.

You say that the car manufacturers are throwing away the designs that would produce lower emission cars. And you blame OPEC for it. I think you are messing up your enemies here.

It is the car manufacturers, in their infinite wisdom and people like YOU that support them in buying overmotorised cars and therefore don;t realize what catastrophic consequences their individual action have - where the blame lies. and then we are back with George Bush. His Government reduces the regulation for environmental standards in all sorts of sectors. did you know that without Nader there would be no seat belts in American cars? Do you know how many lives that has saved?

I am not against progress, in-fact my wife works in an industry that might save us. That does not mean that we all, have to change our individual ways if we want to make any sot of impact.

But some people are to blind, that it will hit them over the head so strong, when their children have Asthma or general breathing problems or their house is being trashed because the see-level are rising due to the melting polar caps.

It is now well established - when reading science and not faith base literature, a place where you get your info from seemingly - that global warming is a fact. Yes, there might be cyclical alterations. but if you look at the changes over the last couple of million years, you notice that those cyclical changes have never happened so quickly.

I pray, that we will have a lucky escape, but I rather work, that it is not luck but human achievement, that saves us. Not limiting our consumption will lead to us having to rely on luck and on Bush, who first says we are going to Mars in 2020 and now we are back onto the moon.

What is this mythical place you want to go to? As I said before In 2050 we will have run out of OIL. Our whole industry is base on oil consumption. And that we are out of Oil you cannot blame on OPEC or Venezuela. Blame it on the earth - that it fails to provide us with the natural resources we need.

I don;t know you, I don;'t know your background, I don;t know your experience with tree-huggers. Yes, they are removed, but you are further removed. Because they are harmless. you however, seem to go off on tangents when I only slightly touch on a matter that concerns you. Get a live. Save energy and be happy.

i want to save the world just the same as every other tree hugger but it just wont happen because some people are so blind the enviormeantlists are not gonna change that. No i am not messing up my enemies, the car companies and opec are n a team so they can use more oil. I for one hate suv's i would rether drive some moter scooter. how would you know if they cycle changes happend so quickley have you been around for seversl million years even scientist's dont know for sure.I am harmless too you know i dont go kill them or threaten them but im saying soon one day someone will.

I thought the discussion was centered on George Bush. Well, I think he?s the king of all idiots (i?m not calling idiots the american people, I mean he is the silliest person in the world). He doesn?t know anything, their knowledges about economy or geography are just inexistents, he has that abnormal smile wen he talks about catastrophes like Katrina... I think he?s a little retarded indeed. Maybe it?s not a clinic case but he?s enough stupid to be driven by other people enough intelligent to govern a country without being the target of all complaints. How can american people vote him?
