By now, if you ever even logged into Xisto... you would have noticed the obvious pathetic condition that the admins let this forum turn into. Literally there is NO ONE online.... the familiar faces around here never even make it into the Top 10 Posts of the Day. So, I have an idea that we pretty much "not care" about the other members that are not online and not think like "ohh... there is no online online/no new posts so that tha i will just log out".

 

Instead, try to somehow create 10 new posts per day in the forum, whether you join in a talk with a new member or simply create your own thread. Think about it, i bet there are at least a few people who still care about this forum... even if it is the single digits. Imagine 5-9 people still care about this forum enough to spend like 10 minutes trying to create 10 posts per day. That's like 50-90 posts and possibly more. And over time, those add into thousands.

 

It doesn't need to be like super-long length posts (like the ones anwiii makes )... it doesn't matter if its just a few lines (25 words min is the spamline in the forum). This could potentially kick start Xisto... like trying those shock things when someone is dying. . And if you can't make 10 posts per day, dont worry just add how many posts you can... even if its only 1 post. And please try to get carried away LOL.

Not completely sure that the admins are gonna help you around here. I would rather try my luck with the Ticket System in Xisto - Support (https://support.xisto.com/).

Haha, I agree it is pretty fun. I started playing Angry Birds when it first came out in the App Store... i think almost a year ago? Can't really keep time in the AppWorld Well, anyway I too got addicted to playing this game... i mean who doesn't? I was like playing this game everywhere... whenever i wanted to kill time. Waiting for the bus, blackouts, and just for the heck of being addicted to it. The reason i like it the most of all the games in the AppStore is that Angry Birds is like only .99 cents but the developers keep updating the game where other month and when there is a special event/holiday coming up... Like Halloween and Christmas. The gameplay is also pretty good... only some other games ever come close to it (the biggest being "Burn the Rope" and "Trainyard" which i liked more than Angry Birds for a while ).

 

Overall, if you have a computer or anytype of smartphone... you should definitely NOT CONSIDER because you will almost always get addicted. You have been warned.

I voted for Mich as I somehow felt like there was more work done on it (I may be wrong tho). Both are nice tho.

I'm pretty sure that your wrong... what i think with my limited gfx skills is that its a picture in the background and a black foreground. Then the black background has been erased with a large PS brush and then added a gradient on it for the green effect. oh yea, there is a shadow on the brown paper thingy too. the thing i like the most about it is the border... which i stupidly forgot to add to my sig

This site is OK but I think this is just a lame remake of Prizelive. Prizelive has been around for a LOOOOOOOONG time and they have events EVERYDAY and a lottery everyweek. They have a instant cashout too and a cool chatbox where the admins are online 24/7 and the users can chat with them. The offers are organized and everything too, and there are TONS of tutorials on the forum about how to get yours offer approved and the steps. If you don't get enough approved, just post a Question in the forum and it'll be answered in minutes. But sure, i think i can give PrizeGrand a try...and referrals are forbidden in trap. (think so )

LOL. I don't believe in Jesus. Does that mean I am condemned? or God's gonna "unleash his wrath"? That's just absurd. I mean, there could be a Mr.Jesus Something a loooong time ago (1 a.d.) and he was a spiritual guy and then after he died, people blew up the story about his powers and how he died... just like Santa Claus, he lived but he was a normal person... people just added Rein deers and flying sleighs and the stuff about elves and north pole. I believe in God though, a bit. Not the Big White Guy with A Huge Beard. I think its like a spirit inside everyone... or its like a force around us that creates everything and like what everything is made up of, those are my closest "GOD" things. Nope, I'm pretty sure that opaque never coded that. It's just the same 'ol mycents system with less mycents for posts. I know cause i have 4 of em and i have never gotten more than i usually do (usually in mycent 4.0 is 1 buck for 3-4 posts for me). Hope that answers your question.@anwiii - she/he never got any mycents for this post.... it says 0, and (as i learned) you can't take away mycents. Maybe a mod took it away?

Naw man, the rules can bend by a bit all the time, I didn't write those rules with intention of screwing people over, i wrote them intending to keep the signatures in a general guide line, but now if people begin to take advantage of the rules, thats a whole different story.

Contrary to what the topic starter states Google found the website by itself. It seems Google has a big interest in Xisto. This can imply that the forum of Xisto is more important for the internet than some members might be aware of. Since Google had already found the website and since Google published the name of the website and the link to the website in the list of results before the link was posted in this forum there is no reason to blame somebody for posting the link and making Google aware of the name of the website because the link was published. The only conclusion might be that Google is faster with finding the name of a website and publishing the name of the website.
Although it would have been funny to make Google aware of the new website by posting a link before Google showed the link in the search results this is not what happened. Google managed to find the website by itself. Maybe new websites of Webpress are send to the Google engine by Webpress itself automatically.

There were four results shown. And two of the results were of Xisto. So Google managed to find the name of the website in the content of the forum.

Nope. That does not happen? Google just happened to "guess" the name of anwiii's website by itself? It had to have found out the link from your post (or somebody else's) and indexed the site. Though I don't say its completely your fault since ANWIII was kinda supposed to change the settings from "I would like my site to be visible to everyone, including search engines" to "I would like to block search engines, but allow normal visitors" to stop Google/SE's from indexing before you're done with the site.... anyways, try to find out more about the topic before you start saying stuff (try to at least)...

About the making sigs for other people. I know them as people so it doesn't really matter that much.

 

Also, you said that you liked the 2nd and 6th ones.. these two were two of my latest. The 6th being my second latest, the 2nd being my third latest, and Signature 1, which didnt show.... is my latest.. Its below

 

 

No problem! Your latest one looks good. You could have picked a better render, the low opacity makes the background visible in it (or it was intended). I like the firey effect the left, you could make it more visible. A better font/color could have been used too, try out different fonts and colors. And lastly, experiment with your signatures -- don't stick to one formula. Can't wait til your next sig!

Hey! I think you should try to work on your blending in of the render, there are hardly any blending.

 

Take a look at this signature I made a few days ago -

 

 

The render is somewhat blended in and it looks like a part of the signature, although I got the render, c4d and background images from different places. That's gotta be your goal when you start out. Try to duplicate your sig and smudge them in the background and put them on "linear dodge" over your background. You should try looking up Tuts on deviantart.com

 

The 2nd and 6th sigs are the ones that I think you did a good job on, others look like they were mashed together in 5 mins. And I really don't think you should be making sigs for other people until you get moderately good at it. Well, anyway i think you should participate in the SOTW next time, its the best way to improve. Here, vote in the new one and observe the techniques of each of the sigs. Good luck!

OK. That's one of the best posts i've ever read on Xisto.... so, before i start, i might as well give you the 1ST wisdom flag i ever gave! But I'm not really that generous... so if you don't keep your word, im gonna take it back (if i can.. i don't know if i can).

 

I don't know how you time your posts or something but you just added this thread right when I was researching seo for my new site,

"walking.d.e.ad.cent.ral.c.om" without those weird periods. Well, its a new tv show, or new niche in the net. I wanted to take the advantage by picking up a site domain. It only has like 2 episodes or something right now, so its still pretty heavy. Though your keyword is like 8K, mines soo new that it only has 140 global searches (i think it will be in 10Ks by next month)and BOOMING search trends. What i wanted to know is, is it gonna be harder cause its new and everyone is making a site on that show or easy because its new???

 

Well, anyway i did the SEO and everything and its pretty plugged up swell on the SEO... BTW... you were wrong, AIO SEO is NOT the best seo plugin for WP. Though, its the easiest (and most popular), its overrated. There are 2 better plugins, one being Platinum SEO Pack... which USED to be a ripoff of AIO SEO but now it has MANY MANY things AIO doesn't have. Just install it and see.... AIO is lagging behind and its pretty much dead now. And the ONE I USE, the one which is the best (or so i believe) is called "HeadSpace 2 SEO". first ill tell you the ONE BAD THING ABOUT IT, it has serious bugs.... getting it to install is the biggest headache and another thing is that you have to edit your title tags in your header.php. Now, here's the good part: its 100 times better than platinum (or AIO). You can EDIT ANYTHING YOU WANT in the description and Title tags for all your posts and entire site. You can automate it (like i did) so it uses shortags and automatically adds the post name in between. Like for a example, I set it so in the POST title tags always go by this rule: Watch %post% Online - %sitename%. So, i don't even have to EDIT THEM AT ALL! I just add the post name and headspace switches it... but it only does it if you don't specify a title in the post page. Also, you can go back and edit your title tags, keywords and descriptions for all your posts ALL AT ONCE!!! What i do is, combine this with the the plugin "Robots Meta" so it adds canonical tags, no dyip tags,etc. You should try it out btw

 

Secondly, i wanna know what you're gonna have on your site anyway... some kind of article or something? but don't you have to re-write articles yourself to get the maximum SEO advantage? And did you really do any "physical" seo? I thought no body was getting a kindle anymore and moving on to the iPad... and the kindle sales fell ALOT recently or something.... you should check that out, seriously. I think you woulda been better off with going with the iPad or something.
