Yup. I had this problem back in day. It happens like this because the server is taking into account the timezones of all the different users at a fast rate. To stop it from happening like this, set a central server time and let the users change the Timezones at their end. That's how it works on most of the forums, i don't know what timezones in IPB though, it probably works like this too. You can give it a shot!

LOL... Xisto isn't that technical... it ain't rocket science! It's just a forum with tech addicts. Almost everyone who posts there has a 'technical problem' and wants some help -- that's what 90% of the forum activity is about and 9% about tech discussion and new tech stuff that came out and 1% is where the techies can freak out and post something non-tech related, which of course is very rare!

That is completely true! I got a whole bunch of lockerz money and when I tried to redeem them on 'redemption day', minutes after it started, they were out of stock. You refresh the site once, then they go out of stock. It's completely ridiculous and yet they have been giving false information that they were going to get more stock and game room for about a year -- yet none of those things have happened so far. I got on their 'Z-List' and they were supposed to send me a Z-Lister Shirt -- which of course never came. It's probably Amazon's weakest link so far... I bet they are ashamed to own Lockerz now.

No, there was already a discussion about this and OpaQue said that wisdom flags (not reputation points) were not going to be counted with the new credit system. At least that was what he said about a month ago. The REAL value of wisdom flags is to give people a look into how helpful and how wise a Kontributor is in the forum. It tells people how helpful the person is. That was the same thing that happened last time they installed reputation points around here. That's why they disabled it after that. Also, you can't give a person NEGATIVE wisdom flags, as OpaQue said early, there is no button for the - because it has been disabled. Hope that solved your questions

It's really easy Little A. But anwiii just did a rough estimate of it. If you want to calculate yours, take the number of posts that you made since the update and divide it by the number mycents you got after the upgrade. For example, web_designer made 400 posts and got about $40. So you take 400/4 = 10. It's pretty simple. The hard part is finding out how many posts you made since the upgrade.

I hope it is good enough to be included in the banner rotation I don't think that it is as original as the other ones like web_designer's but I tried to make it look as PROFESSIONAL as possible and a banner that could attract visitors. @OpaQue - Ooops.. I don't really get what you are saying is wrong but sorry for giving you the wrong code lol BTW can't HTML be produced in the same page as PHP? Also, on my forum boards, which run on vBulletin there are plugins for banner rotators... so you might want to look if there are IPB v3 Plugins for Banner rotation! It could make the process as Seo-friendly as possible and it would head-ache free!

It's funny that I have called many people African American and they don't curse at me. Sure, African American is not politically correct but it SURE is better than calling a whole bunch of people Black. Black people can be ANY people. Any race of people can have their skin color black, not only people from Africa. And also, not all people from africa are BLACK. This is the Internet, it exactly isn't a novel where plagiarism is that big of a deal... he didn't even take credit for it. He says that it was a email from his mother, which already means that it isn't his. Plagiarism is when you DON'T give credit to someone. In this case he tells us it isn't his, but you don't need to put a quote on it because (a) it is in the joke section ( B ) it could have originated from anyone and any language.

I like all the Kingdom Hearts Soundtracks, they are almost as good as the game itself. Another classic would be the Mario Soundtracks, I still like them. The best soundtracks of MMORPG's would be MapleStory, they got a plenty of good soundtracks for the cities and battle grounds!

The Native Americans put a whole fight to defend against the Colonists but they failed.. so now it is the American People's now -- fair and square. That's just how war goes, you just got to admit it. It's not like the Native Americans are they only ones that got their lands stripped from them, its happened to just about every single country. Another example is India, if Gandhi didn't put up the whole peace fight thing , they will still be under British rule. But the American people aren't treating anybody like outcasts, at least not now. Would you like if people called you 'Savages' or 'Indians'? Then why are you saying that people? It's African American -- learn the word not Blacks. Try using a different DNS like OpenDNS. Sometimes some sites don't work to the DNS server which your ISP is using, so if you use a another dns like openDNS, you could view sites that other people might now be able to view because they have DNS which has a lot traffic or just a really bad dns hoster. Update us if it is working now or not!

I think this a kind of obvious question here, if you decide to EARN their myCents and transfer to their Xisto account, that means it gets CONVERTED to actually money (us dollars). So when they BUY the hosting or domain, they will be actually using currency to buy it, so of course you get the money from the referral. There is something you need to understand here -- mycents are NOT free, you are EARNING your myCents here -- and OpaQue is not doing charity work here by giving you free hosting, all the mycents are actual xisto money. and all the money is generated by Google Adsense and Kontera.

Nope... Never been that 'stupid' in my life... at least not yet I have seen some ads on the paper and in some stores I see them but I just buy the Blu-Ray cds. Whenever a new movie comes out on DVD, I get it from NetFlix instantly and then watch it -- if it is good enough to be bought to play on BR CD, I go ahead and get the ordinary blue-rays. I don't really even have a Blue-ray player, I just use my Playstation 3 to do that job. I haven't been able to understand why you would need a DVD and a Blue-Ray CD. Probably someone like Comp2 or a guy who wants 2 collections?

Awww man... I didn't make it into the list.I think i made a whole bunch of posts during the last 2 months... I probably didn't get much money because I have a lot of 'awww' and '...' in my posts. Oh, Well! I might I have been added up there if you added like 2 or 3 people down the list. Wow... TrueFusion wins by the margin with all the quality. Although, Web has the least quality, it's probably because she doesn't add many keywords into her posts like 'car' or 'hp laptop'. I think thats how the quality gets calculated and of course, the amount of grammatical mistakes you add to your posts. I for one, don't care about the quantity really, cause people can go around making 'em one liner posts and all we have to do is posts a few with loooong words and wikipedia links lol Now I can post to my hearts content! I also think that there should be a Top myCent Earner list for the week/month... It could be excited to see people posting like CRAZY to be on the top, I bet I would post like hell to get on there. I think we will see the next few days to see if we have a TRAFFIC SPIKE that gets the traffic more than 25th June. I'm really gonna start to get my post count up and get more quality on the roll up the hill. yeah! finally, the myCENTS are updated! I never noticed it at first, now I do... i got 2x the amount I had before, now I plan to spam the forum until i get 500 posts Nice job, OpaQue. I didn't notice any slow down when the myCents were being calculated. I even feel that this myCENTS is more lightweight compared to myCent v3. Hopefully you can start a thread in Announcement called 'myCent v4 Launched' or something similar. I have a whole bunch of questions though, and I would appreciate it if you could answer 'em How often will the new mycents update? What is the name of the new mycents? Is it still mycents v4? How does the moderator editing the mycents work? Can you code a sidebar widget that tells the recent myCent rewarders? Can you have contests like SOTW or Army System where the winners get myCents as rewards? It could be loads of fun Can you add a link to Xisto Billing at the top menu? Something called 'Hosting', or 'Hosting CP' or 'Xisto CP' or just 'Billing' or 'Support'? Can you make it so that Blog Posts get myCents too? This could really promote blog posts in the forum. Thats all the Questions I have for now... If i get any more I will be sure to post them here.

I remember that the one i heard was different, this is a different version with more laughs. Well, in the joke section everything is quoted... so does it really matter? Jokes really don't look that good in quotes, besides no mycents here anyways.

Sure, its better than 'Xisto.com' and 'knowledge2.us', but only regular members can use this... all our links are indexed as 'Xisto.com/forum/number-the-title-of-the-thread, so new members and visitors won't even know that there is another domain. But its a better choice for members! Nice one!
