Which Would Work Better For A Girl?
Cerb replied to MaverickFang's topic in Dating And Relationships
If you really can't decide, get her both. I'm leaning towards the video games, though. Everyone loves video games, and you can play them again and again without getting tired of them. A stuffed animal is just going to sit in the girl's closet after a few days. -
I don't necessarily believe that Google is putting some 'super-cookie' on your computer. I do believe that it is the greatest thing since the internet. Google will take over the world one of these days.

125 Yr Old Woman Sprouts New Tooth
Cerb replied to miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG's topic in General Discussion
I don't doubt the story in regards to some old chick sprouting a new tooth, but at 125? That's the part that I'm having a hard time believing. Someone find me another source and I might believe it. -
Gmail For Free - No Invitations You can sign up through Mobile
Cerb replied to scab_dog's topic in The Internet
I think it's a great marketing scheme. You sign up with your mobile # to get an account. Then they will more than likely send you advertisements occasionally by text message. Not only that, but they have that nice little option for sending your friends gmail account numbers. Now they have their phone #s as well.See the reasoning there? -
Plus, with or without him, Korn will never be anything good. I wish the Fieldy would realize what a horrible bass player he is and drown himself.

It seems that the article has been taken down, as the link no longer works. Did anyone happen to save it or know of a mirror site? -
Which Ring For Christmas? Help me decide, ladies
Cerb replied to Cerb's topic in Dating And Relationships
Not that many of your care at this point, but I suppose I will tell you all anyways. It looked like I wasn't going to be able to see her on Christmas, so last night we exchanged gifts. She did decide that it was too large, and seeing it on her hands, I agree. She has very small fingers, and the size of the pearl just didn't compliment that. I was sad to see the ring go, though, as it was one of the nicest looking rings that I'd ever seen. So, today we went back up to the mall. We looked around together for a little while and she found two that she liked. Together they did not add to what the first had cost, so we got them both. It's funny, though, because one that she picked was #4 from the poll, which was what I originally really liked and what everyone voted for. The other was a simple white gold band with a small marquise cut citrine (her mother's birth stone) with small diamond chips on either side. -
I'll drink almost anything, but I enjoy water the most. Though, I mostly drink Diet cola a lot, not because I need to, but because I really like the taste. It seems to quench your thirst better than regular cola, and it doesn't have that horrible sweet taste to it.

What Is The End Of The World? In your opinion...
Cerb replied to bigfatme2000's topic in General Discussion
There are two flaws with this post.1: It is completely random, and there is little coherent thought throughout.2: This is in the wrong forum. -
Crunchy Or Smooth The ultimate peanutbutter poll
Cerb replied to flamette's topic in General Discussion
I can't stand crunchy peanut butter. It's especially bad if it is unexpected. I hate biting into a PB&J only to realize that it was made with crunchy peanut butter. -
My obsession would have to be neatness and organization. This is especially reflected in my writing, because I make sure everything has a place and topics are organized. My second obsession would be music and/or bass. The two fall hand in hand. I also suppose that my building a bass would go into this category.

You also managed to totally disregard the point of that post. -

Very cool. I, also, wouldn't have questioned the realism of that for a second. -
Will We Be Reimbursed The Credits Lost? While t17 has been down...
Cerb replied to Cerb's topic in Web Hosting Support
Well, it seems that everyone wants their piece of me. Though, I do wonder, now that my credits are up enough for my site to be working, why it isn't working. What ever happened to getting above 4 credits and having your site turned back on? I've been above 4 for a while now and it's not back up. Previously it was automatic or within an hour or two.P.S. Obviously I didn't heed the warnings about staying above 10 credits, but one also must realize that the normal person doesn't expect a 3 day downtime of the forums. I went below 10, yes. I do, however, have a life that takes tending to. -
Obviously, the people who planned it realized all of the possible dangers beforehand. I'm sure, especially being as these people were trained on such things, that the thought of cracks in the rock had not been overlooked. To say such silly things is idiocy.Needless to say, I would walk on the thing. I love heights, and that would certainly be.

Which Ring For Christmas? Help me decide, ladies
Cerb replied to Cerb's topic in Dating And Relationships
I showed her step-mother today. She commented on its size and whether or not my girlfriend would enjoy a ring of that size. I'm not particularly worried, as it is not huge. The pearl is 7mm, though, and I can see where size would be somewhat of an issue.Though, I did make my girlfriend swear (on our relationship... I'm such a *BLEEP* ) that she would tell me if she didn't like her Christmas gift. Of course, she still has no idea as to what it is. If she decides that she doesn't enjoy the size of it, it should be no problem. A simple trading in of the ring for another will be little trouble. Plus, she would be able to pick one from the store. -
Marriage I think its a waste of time, and money
Cerb replied to Nani Cheri's topic in Dating And Relationships
Marriage is more than just being with someone and living together. You are legally considered part of that persons family. Let's say that your significant other was badly injured in a car accident and you took them to the hospital. Of course, you'd want to know how the person was doing. Would the doctor be able to tell you? No. You're not in the person's family. There are many situations just like this one. Some are far more serious, though. -
Public transportation is a joke. I just hope that I never have to rely on it.

I also agree with those that are saying it is somewhat pointless. We have already been to the moon, and landing on it just to land on it seems a bit pointless at this time. Now, if they can reach Mars, I might just watch. But, I certainly don't see that happening.

What Do You Think Of E-bay? any experiences?
Cerb replied to Peaktao's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I've bought from eBay many times, and everything that people so far have mentioned is good advice. Just use your common sense (the least common of the senses), and you should be alright. -
This year I'm getting stuff that pertains to my bass building; a few router bits, routing templates, carbon fiber rods, etc. The only big thing (expensive) I'm getting is a nice 4" leather bass strap. It costs around $100 and has a talkbass.com logo on it.

I'm having trouble waiting for the 25th. Gah!!!! -
I had a little over 2 credits the other day. Now of course I have -5 because the site has been down for a few days, and I haven't been able to post. Once I hit 0 credits it, of course, went straight to -4. Is there any way that I can be reimbursed for this, being as it was not my fault that I dropped below 0?
