  1. Personally, I loved Ragnarok online. It was my first MMORPG I've ever played. The moment I started playing, I was totally addicted to it. I started playing when it was still in Beta, and I've been playing since. Though, alot of people dislike it, because it has pixeled graphics.
  2. A tad off topic, but in my opinion World of Warcraft was a let down. I loved warcraft 3, I loved it when it came out, and I still do. Mostly because warcraft was more unqiue then anything at the time. But World of Warcraft seems like another generic MMORPG (Mass multiplayer online role playing game) If blizzard was to make Starcraft 2, and Dibalo 3. I think diablo would win. Diablo (i think) has more players. There is always tons of people playing. (d2: LoD: USwest) And it has more substance, compared to Starcraft. I've played D2 for about 1 year more then starcraft. But really if warcraft 4 came out, I think it could be equal to, or ever better then both Diablo3 and Starcraft 2. One more thing, I think they should just finish up Starcraft ghost before they start working on anything else.
  3. I am so addicted to MMO's also. Unfortunately, my computer sucks, and the only MMO's I can run are basically Runescape (ew) and Ragnarok Online. I've basically lived my life on RO, until recently, I've done basically everything in the ragnarok World, and am bored. So... basically, Im waiting for a job for some cash... need a better computer.
  4. I used to play about 3 years back. *logs onto account*...Woah, I can't believe I worked so hard on this. I was 11 at the time. Kept me interested for about a year. Decided it was a bit boring, and started learning HTML, and got into a coding community, later got refered to Gaia Online, and been there since....But back to the game, I remember this, I was so rich. I just bought a bunch of Honey Potions before I left, 400K. I wonder how much those are going for now.*goes to check* Were is the trade... place button.Ooh, 750K, Almost doubled. Thanks for reminding me. *goes to see whats new**is bound to get bored in 10 minutes*
  5. I think Revolution will also be the last Nintendo Console. I really hate that since im a big fan of nintendo, but I think its true. I seems that being able to download every game for nintendo sounds like such a awsome idea. But it also sounds like a last attempt. If they were to make a new console, it would have to have downloadable games aswell, but what would happen to the ones on the revolution. I don't really know, im just rambling on. I am still going to buy a revolution though.
  6. I am on IE and DSL, and its pretty slow for me aswell, I was actually wondering about this for a while. I am glad to see I am not the only one experiencing this.
  7. Tales of SymphoniaLegend Of DragoonThese are my favourite generic RPGSBut if we include MMO's, then Ragnarok Online, Rose Online and FFXI Aswell.
  8. I liked the first trick, to make a famicon, but there is a program in which to do it aswell. Still very good though.
  9. I'll try it, thanks for the link. ^^;
  10. Thank you, I got it to work, and am testing scripts at the moment.
  11. If anyone else would like to help, I still don't understand. *is an idiot* I made a .Php file in notepad, saved it as "all files" not "txt file" I uploaded it on the file manager in my "/" folder It says Php.php I clicked on it, then Edit File <?phpprint "Hello world!";?> I typed this in. Next I went to show file. It says. "php.php File Type: PHP script text " But nothing underneath. In otherwords its blank. Shouldn't it say Hello World?
  12. Well, I don't know where to begin PHP. I understand scripts and everything. But how do I make a .PHP file? I am guessing go to the file manager. Create a file called [insert].php. But what type of file do I save it as? Perl? I am really lost, but I really want to start learning PHP. Thanks.
  13. Final Fantasy was good, long time ago. FF7 is a tad overated in my opinion. I mean its an awsome game, but everything keeps saying stuff like "FF7 IS THE BEST GAME IN THE WORLD, NOTHING IN THE NEXT 5 YEARS WILL BE BETTER" Stuff like that, just make it chat speak and add a bunch of exclamation marks. *sigh*
  14. A flight Sim sounds fun. I haven't played one since my PS broke. To bad I can't play it, my graphics card isn't good eneough.
  15. A windows '98. Thats all I can remember about it. **represses all the crashing**
  16. Actually, It really isn?t much of a surprise for google to buy out mozilla. Its a famous webrowser (since IE is out of their grasps.)
  17. Insaniquarium is an action/simulation game. Basically, you have a fish tank, where you feed your fish to gain money to afford upgrades. Also Aliens come to eat your fish, so you must defend them by shooting said aliens. With eneough money, you can buy egg pieces, once you gain 3, you can get pets. But thats getting ahead of myself. There are different modes of playing insaniquarium also. Adventure - Feed your pets, defeat aliens and unlock new Pets to help you on later levels. (4 different tanks, each with 5 levels) Time Trial - Try and gain as much money as possible.Withen 5-10 minutes. 5% of that score goes to your virtual tank. (*) Challenge - This mode is quite like adventure, but the prices go higher by 10% (of base price) every few seconds on all upgrades. Buy 3 Egg pieces to win. (this mode is only unlocked after defeating adventure mode) Virtual Tank - This mode is quite relaxing infact. You raise fish as you would in real life. Though they do drop money still, its more realiastic since you only have to feed your fish 3 times a day to keep them happy. There is a store where you can buy fish to add to your virtual tank which changes based on you computer clock. Every day has a different stock of fish. [sandbox] - This is a secret mode you can only enter after you obtain the silver trophy (*). This is also unlocked by imputting "the konami" code on the main screen. (up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A) With a press of a button, anything in the game can be added to your tank. A very fun way to test senarios. ----- Feeding Fish Ok, to feed a fish, just (left) click anywere on the screen (with nothing blocking it) and food with start to sink to the bottem of the screen. Hungry fish with go after the food, and eat it. Food is not free also, it costs $5 to drop 1 piece of food. Don't waste your food. Food also goes away as soon as it touches the bottem of your tank. Tip : Drop food near the top of the screen to allow long "drop time". Fighting aliens To shoot an alien, basically you gotta keep clicking on the alien until its dead (some aliens are different, but thats later) These aliens will eat your fish if your not careful. So you must "steer" the aliens away from your fish. Like if you shoot the top of the alien, it was "swim" down, and vice versa. Pets At the begining of the game, you can bring 3 pets with you. Pets are different then your regular fish, like they can't be eat by aliens, and don't need it be feed, but pets with give you helpful abilitys to finish each level. In adventure, to complete a level you must buy 3 "egg pieces". When the egg hatchs out comes a pet. Different types of fish There are a few different types of fish in this game. Guppy King Guppy Carnivore Star dropping fish Star Catcher Guppy Cruncher Beetle Muncher Breeder Ultravore Also one of the most coolest thing is, since we are dealing with a fishtank, it had to become a screen saver. And ofcourse, there is a screen saver mode. It uses your most recent save of your Virtual Tank. Your fish that you bought now swim around while you gather money while you aren't around. 18. I am the same as shigajet, I spend about 30 minutes to 2 hours a day, but if i don't have much homework, or don't have work I can spend more. But usually 30 minutes is what I spend.
  19. *sigh* I remember RPG maker, I decided to make a game, after about 1 month of learning about it, I started making a big game with everything I learned so far, then my computer got that MSN virus, and my sister freaked out. This lead to her restoring the computer, bye bye 4 months of work. (I also had school and a job, thats why it was pretty slow)
  20. Where is Gamecube? I like it mostly cause its pretty much the underdog of this gen. And my favourite games are RE4 and Super Smash Bros. Melee.
  21. I've heard of PSP online, and playing roms, but I've never heard of a DS being able to. Learn something new every day.
  22. *sigh* So much talk about iPods, I totally want one, A normal iPod would be fine, I don't even care about colour or Photo Viewing. Is the shuffle really that bad, I've heard it was good for not having a screen, then again I've heard that not having a screen really kills it.
  23. *sigh* I want an iPod mimi aswell, I've been wanting one since it came out, but I personally think it costs a bit much. But it does has alot of things like 4gB of memory. I can't decide if I want to go out to get one, but I've heard alot of good feedback about it.
  24. My friend has been looking for how to do this for a while, thank you. I am giving him the link right now.
  25. Ditto, I loved Diablo II : LODI really didn't care much for the story, but for the simplicity of the battle system was where it shinied. No complicated targeting/locking on to enemys, that was probably the best thing about diablo. Bad things were it became really easy after a bit. And training became to repetative.
