  1. Here you go: I was kinda at a designer's block with this request. But that's what i managed to pull off.
  2. Yeah, that was the problem when i had Zone Alarm Pro Firewall. Like you, i didn't know it was the firewall, cause i had never seen it before. But later found it was the firewall. It would get annoying when trying to check if my pages were 100% XHTML valid, through Opera, and find out i always had one thing to take care of, and it was what the firewall injected into all pages. I got rid of Zone Alarm.
  3. Repentance should increase your chances of believing that you would be going to heaven a bit later after death. It always does.
  4. Religion is wisdom. How could it be wisdom if it were illogical? What cannot be understood gets rejected, and gets claimed as false or untrue. It gets rejected due to lack of understanding. Just cause one can't understand, doesn't make it false. We just need to change our way of thinking.
  5. It's called a Mac Mini. Probably the most affordable Mac out there today. Very good computer, for something so small.
  6. You would have to keep in mind the cost of such a trip. Will there be snacks? The weather conditions of the designated location. Do people have an open schedule--nothing to do? What if they call in sick? Would they be better off with just IM clients?Personally, i wouldn't go. I have other future plans i want to get accomplished.
  7. That's insane. Just how many layers did it take to pull that off? And this was all because you were bored. I wonder what you'd pull off if you weren't bored.I say some of the brighter petals in the middle could use a light, gradient outline. The background could use some red. Border?
  8. Seeing that the topic-starter did not specify whether it is barefoot or not, we'd be able to walk on all three?without any injury or discomfort. And this would not be called cheating . Everyone is assuming it is barefoot, because it would seem pointless to even ask, otherwise. But i wouldn't walk on any.
  9. Yes, you've made a row for each [cell #]. Here use this: <!-- MAIN PANEL// --><table border="0" class="panel" align="top center" width="100%"><thead><tr><td class="head" valign="top">Member's Area</td><td></td><td class="head" valign="top">Site Statistics</td><td></td><td class="head" valign="top">Support Us</td></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td align="left">row 2, cell 1</td><td></td><td align="center">row 2, cell 3</td><td></td><td align="right">row 2, cell 5</td></tr></tbody></table><!-- //MAIN PANEL -->
  10. The reason why the images don't show, is cause the site has hotlinking disabled.
  11. Here's a little quicky i did (though, it took over 20 minutes). It contains all colors mentioned, though, gre/ay and white are very subtle. If you want the PSD, let me know. (Click image for original size)
  12. I checked your site in IE7, and the hover works, but if one condition is met: Slow mouse movement. Whenever i moved the mouse too quickly (which is basically as fast as i would normally move it), the sub-menus would disappear. If i move it slower than usual, it would work fine. Only way i can think of fixing this is by changing it to onclick, instead of hovering.
  13. I've always had trouble getting CSS menu hover effects to work in IE. I am always forced to use JavaScript to mess around with the CSS. But it solves the problem. It'd be easier to solve your problem if you provided some source coding.
  14. That looks like Photoshop material to me. Have you recently obtained Photoshop? And, yes, that is great improvement. Though, i feel something is missing, and i can't quite put my finger on it...Anywho, nice realism with the lighting. :)Strange, i just got a feeling that it's more of a photomanip sig.
  15. In Opera, the images do not load while hidden. In other browsers, like Firefox, the images load whether hidden or not.
  16. Although Cable has the ability to go fast, it has its drawbacks. Unlike DSL, it's a shared media. Meaning, if your neighbor is connected to the same provider you're using, they can slow you down! You would require a connection that is consistent. I would recommend at least T3 (T1, i wouldn't think that's good enough). One more thing, if you're planning on surfing the web, while at the same time you're hosting your site on the same computer, you'd be slowing down your visitors.
  17. I would uninstall the Google web accelerator (no one really needs it, IMO). But, about the Firefox problem, have you recently installed any extensions that manage your cookies? If so, have you told it to allow cookies from "Xisto.com"--whether for session, or in general?
  18. [1]What kind of angle do you want it in? And how thick the stripes you want them? And do you want them far apart or close to each other?[2]Find the comments where it says MAIN PANEL in the source. You'll find two divisions. Replace them with a table that has two rows, and three columns. The table should have the class "panel" on it. The columns in the first row should all have the class "head" on them. Then add the following code to the CSS file "style.css":table.panel {padding: 3px;margin-bottom: 10px;background: #505405;}td.head {color: #ffd700;display: block;margin-bottom: 3px;padding: 3px;text-align: left;background: #5e6306;font-weight: bold;}That should do it.
  19. Two ways: PHP include, or (i)frames. Since you've posted this in the HTML section, i'ma suggest using an iframe. Information on how to properly use an iframe can be found here. If you would like to know how it's done with PHP, let us know.
  20. This tutorial is valid for Opera 9 or above; but previous versions might work. In the menu bar, go to Tools > Mail and chat accounts... Click on Add... Make sure Regular e-mail (POP) is selected. (It should be by default.) Click Next >. In this section, you see three fields: Real Name, E-mail address, and Organization. Organization is optional. Type in your name in the Real Name field, and your account's e-mail in the E-mail address field (syntax: cpanel_username@your_subdomain.trap17.com). Click Next >. In this section, in the Login name field, type in your C-panel username. And in the Password field, your C-panel password. Click Next >. In this section everything should be filled out automatically for you, and all you'd have to do is click Finish. After clicking Finish, Opera's Mail Client will attempt to gather any mail you have in your Inbox for your account. Hope this provides some convenience for those who use their account's e-mail, and who love to use Opera.
  21. When viewing the updates, there's no title attribute, or whatever, that shows when [such-and-such] was posted. Usually, in the case of updates, you inform the readers when [such-and-such] was posted. I know the code can be easily modifed to have this implemented, but just wondering.
  22. Hey, nice script you have here. I can see this going places. Will there be a part 2 of this, with more advanced features? I'm sure this will be very useful. Keep up the good work. :)Btw, i noticed the date isn't really used when viewing the updates: why is that?
  23. Eh? How'd you manage? I remember trying to downgrade IE before, and it gave me an error saying that it was not possible, cause i had a newer version installed. So, i only assumed it was like that, in general.
  24. [1]Besides the ones that are still present since 6, and before? Not that i know of.[2]No, once you upgrade, you can never go back; unless, of course, you reformat. But i haven't heard of any programs that stopped working due to upgrade. I'd also suggest getting a different browser, as well. Like, Opera, or Firefox.
