Before concluding that you need to get a new monitor, i will suggest a couple of things that you should test out before doing so: Restart your computer (assuming the monitor is hooked into it). (Don't ask me why but this has solved my problem before when i turned on my computer without the monitor being hooked to it.) Plug your monitor into your sister's computer and see if it works there. If so, it could be your graphics card, operating system or motherboard (yes, i say this in order of priority). Plug your sister's monitor into your computer. If none of these help or provide insight, and if all the pins on the end of the monitor port are still there, then it might then be safe to assume you need a new monitor or other hardware. However, you can wait to see what others have to say.

I was going to dive into the Zend framework as well; that is, until i saw its filesize—i'm not uploading that to my website. Luckily, Wikipedia has a comparison list of frameworks. I used this list to figure out if there was another framework that did the same thing as Zend but more and with a smaller file size. Nette Framework caught my eye the most. The only unfortunate part about it is its documentation is in another language other than my native language. Google translator can help here, but it still slows down the learning process. I've also heard a lot about CakePHP in, ironically, websites that delt with Python and Ruby—but it was all mainly that it was good, nothing you can actually use in a debate or discussion about it. But my goal isn't insomuch using an already-existing framework for myself, however, but rather perhaps to dissect its code. I noticed that when working with AJAX it is good to have multiple files that access one main file (or core) so that it doesn't load more than it should, or so that it doesn't load nothing (for a core just mainly sits there until you ask it to do something, doesn't it?). The thing about my scripts that contain AJAX is that i try to accomplish making my scripts work if JavaScript were to be disabled. It's not necessarily a difficult thing to accomplish, though, but obviously requires some extra work. I've heard about design patterns and theories, MVC, etc, about programming, but never really took the time to really get into it. But from what i understand about it i feel like my current way of programming implies these things anyway. I would assume MVC is really important concerning programming languages like C and C++, but i don't plan on ever diving into such programming languages, especially since i've been spoiled by interpreted languages. Sure there may be a difference between interpreted languages and languages that need to be compiled in performance, but if my program loads within a second or two, i'm not complaining. But at the same time, there is now a way to compile your PHP programs into bytecode using the Roadsend compiler. And now that i have PHP-Qt compiled and installed on here, i can use PHP to create desktop applications. The Qt4 library is an awesome GUI library, and i recommend it over GTK. You should look into PHP-Qt. WOW as in World of Warcraft? If so, how'd they get that position?

That's already in effect. I don't think that'll be a problem. Once the warning level is removed, they should be able to go back in and add whatever they couldn't before to their account. Since they should still have money left over due to the inability to purchase a certain feature (if this feature indeed required extra money) (or plan), once the warning is removed they can just add that feature in.

Somebody Uploaded A File Onto My Hosting Account [resolved]
truefusion replied to Spyda's topic in Web Hosting Support
If a folder has all permissions allowed (i.e. 0777), then this should not be something you should be surprised about. 0777 allows anyone to do whatever they want to that folder, which includes creating their own folders and files. Having it changed back to 0755 was probably a smart thing on their side that is beneficial to you. However, this new file called "SubVersion" should only scare you if it was created outside of the folder that had 0777 permissions and if it can execute something on the server side. Should i assume you got rid of the file? -
Using Jquery Beginners Questions

Since i'm not entirely sure of the purpose of your script, i'll address what i currently can. Go to http://www.w3schools.com/js/js_functions.asp and scroll down to "The Lifetime of JavaScript Variables." -
Ah, i thought you would mention Linux. It's not a problem if you disconnect the network, remove your CD-rom and, if any, DVD-rom drives, along with any Floppy drives. Oh, don't forget USB ports. Otherwise the potential for a virus or other malware problem is there. Just like xpress, my experience with Avira, that is, concerning resources, has been good—the only one i can actually feel it not bogging down my old XP system (not that i still use that system). Plus, it was the only non-resource-hungry anti-virus program i've come across that offers a free edition of their anti-virus program that would actually keep track of your system in the background. Most free anti-virus programs out there only go up to mere manual scanning of files.

I've seen screenshots of it, and there's probably a demo you can download and try, but i haven't seen any work from it that has intrigued me enough to try it out. But any program that allows for custom, resizable brushes and that is compatible with tablets should be enough for any kind of Manga work. Also, if you buy certain How to Draw Manga books, you can get a CD that brings some Manga material for Photoshop. For example, this one brings a CD: How To Draw Manga Computones.

Ubuntu 8.10 seems to work faster and has better hardware support. Switching back to Ubuntu from Gentoo showed to be a bit surprising performance-wise. But ever since i switched to Linux, Windows machines have brought dissapointment to where it makes me want to install Linux on those computers. I find myself to be more productive on a Linux machine and plan to come out with my own Ubuntu-based distro some day. I don't see myself ever going back to Windows.

What Will Heaven Be Like? A place for new perspective
truefusion replied to asdftheking's topic in Health & Fitness
Allow me to show you the faith, given the description of faith you give, within your own post: Now why is this faith by your own description? Because you did not provide any proof; that is, an excuse without reason—an excuse for not believing. For the former, the logic doesn't follow. For the latter, you've never been dead, so how can you know it doesn't bring that kind of stuff? Hell for one is known as the second death. Therefore, to ask you the same thing, how can you believe in something dependent on faith alone? Since faith is to believe, though you attempt to make it look like two different things, that implies that even the very things you see require faith. So then how can you believe in the very things you see? You can't do away with faith no matter how hard you try, so it is futile to argue against faith. -
For something like that i would have suspected readable instead. But if your system supports it, you can CONSOLE chmod 0644 /path/to/fileOr viewing the file properties in a file manager if the Mac OS file mananger allows it, to edit permissions.

Let me know if you want the xcf (GIMP) file, too.

Trap17 Myspace Profile! trap17 now has one
truefusion replied to joeblogg's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Ah, unfortunately we are a bit ahead of you on this one—MySpace has been done: Xisto On [myspace]-[orkut]. Orkut was hit too, as you can see. But you can join the group with this new MySpace account which you have started. -
If i remember correctly, that process is from AVG. If you have multiple anti-virus programs running at the same time, they could be colliding with each other, therefore causing the spike you see. However, from my experience Kaspersky was quite the resource hogger. Ah, isn't nice to live without the need of an anti-virus program?

All hyped up over what one guy said? Concerning opinions and choices, if everyone has that right to have them under the law, then why are you (plural) doing the same thing the priest is? Yes, let us therefore get angry over small things: angry over what one person says to another though unnecessary to get angry or emotional over it. In all seriousness, do you believe people (i.e. the Catholics that this is directed towards) will actually appeal to this? If the believers that this is directed towards are at all politically active (with or without emotions for politics), do you believe they'd care for what one guy they probably don't even know (except perhaps now due to the media) would say about their decision?Indeed the priest commits a fallacy by implying a multitude (since that is to include also those that didn't vote for Obama), but how did this one person become so popular for the media to make public? That page says that he told the Greenville News about it, but how do we know it wasn't the media that was searching instead? This is what i don't like about anger: people feel justified in everything they do when angry. Therefore, rather than concerning ourselves about a suggestion (though the media is trying to make it look like more than just that) that the priest told to the parishioners, concern yourself with whether or not this presidency will at all be good for this country.

If this topic is merely just to get a glimpse of what other people think concerning the issue, then you could have searched for similar topics that contain similar to exact information on the issue. Like for example this one: http://forums.xisto.com/topic/40507-death-penalty-for-rapists/ But your reasoning for why it is necessary doesn't really show that it is necessary, since number 2 is to explain why number 1 should occur.

Css Page Help I am going Bonkers here
truefusion replied to Echo_of_thunder's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Do you have hotlinking protection enabled? If so, maybe consider rechecking the settings? If not, then i find it odd that i am getting a 403 error when attempting to access the background image. Concerning the "blocks," do you mean the background images for them too (assuming we're talking about the blocktitle class and perhaps certain links)? If so, then do likewise as i mentioned previously. If not, then i don't understand what you mean concerning the "blocks." -
I don't need another example (since an example isn't necessarily proof), i just want proof that rights are lost by Proposition 8, since you have yet to provide any. You implied that you spoke for homosexuals, and you continued this implication by arguing your point even further without doing away with this implication. I can't be blamed for you providing an example that doesn't make them look good—i don't believe that you couldn't foresee this. They never lost the religious right to marry the opposite gender, and you can't lose what you never had: they never had the religious right to marry the same gender, so no rights are lost. If you say "But i have provided proof of loss of rights by giving the tax deductions article," that doesn't prove that rights are lost and that it is limited to homosexual singles alone; it includes heterosexual singles as well. For that reason, if indeed any rights are lost, then the heterosexual singles should team up with the homosexual singles in the fight against "the unfairness of tax exemption." But you can't lose what you never previously had. Therefore, if you are now finding that your first example can no longer properly explain to me why homosexuals seek marriage, then i am left wondering again.

Thats Just Great, My Accounts Been Hacked!
truefusion replied to kobra500's topic in Web Hosting Support
What CMS do you use to run your site that supports modules like newsletters or ability to send e-mails? If any, then i don't think Xisto would be able to do anything about it if you continue to use faulty scripts, since it would not be a security issue on their side. You should be able to track down where the problem is by examining which pages have content relating to e-mails, etc. -
Looking back at your post, the only part that could possibly imply a "no" is from the part that says homosexuals aren't demanding faith-change from churches. But that doesn't necessarily imply a "No," nor does it expand it to all faiths, since the context was about Christian churches. But at the same time, i would say that they are to some extent trying to change faiths, by having people accept homosexuality as a whole. So it's all about the money and not because they want to live happily ever after together? M'ks; i have my answer now.

Take a look at the barebone computers at Newegg. Yes, the majority of them may look odd and perhaps not to your liking, but some of them have decent specs and you can always later on replace the case. Then you can perhaps run Xubuntu on it. Personally, i would probably get one just to take good parts from and sell the rest on eBay or something.

Assuming your personal settings are located in the same place as a Linux set-up, it should be located under ~/.gimp-2.<number>/patterns. (You may have to unhide these files.) After dumping your patterns in there, refreshing the patterns or restarting GIMP should show your new pattern in the patterns palette. Otherwise, you'll need someone who has the Mac OS to help you.

You're implying that the income received by non-married couples is unfair when compared to married couples. Although no rights are lost with this, i would still like for you to show me the rates for each state of the United States for both married and non-married couples, also for singles, so that everyone may see the unfairness which you imply exists. I never limited it to Christian churches, so you are avoiding my question: Should priests be forced, by law, to go against their faith? Secondly, i have already addressed the consequences of marriages being done in an indecent place or a small place in the corner, etc. By stating what homosexuals want, you imply that you speak for them. So i shall ask you what i said i wondered about in the other post: If you can still be together till death do them part without marriage, then why do they want to get married? If it is to give marriage greater value, or if it is to give "being together" a greater value, then why let governments set-up places with lower value for it? Also, as you imply you already know, since marriage is not something that originated from a government but religion, and unless someone can show me somewhere in the constitution that we have the right to marriage, homosexuals have no case when they argue "We want equal rights" concerning this, for they do indeed have equal rights. But here's a quote i found comical from another site: It does bring up an interesting topic, as that is what gay marriage should actually be about.

Yahoo Bots And Captcha Is all this worth it?
truefusion replied to Echo_of_thunder's topic in The Vent
You can't blame Yahoo! for the bots. You just seem to be acknowledging what Yahoo! acknowledges: that these bots are ruining things for people. The captcha shows that Yahoo! is at least observing their chat rooms, to whatever extent that may be. It's not easy to do away with bots, especially those with humans behind them that are willing to go through the entire registration process just for the bot to get in. -
I do not see how not having a Mac prevents you from making the applications you so require to make. But if it is a need, then you'll just buy the Mac regardless of the price tag anyway. Running off of comparison like rvalkass started, even if you don't compare Mac computers with PCs found in stores or with custom built ones, you are still left comparing the price tag with how big your wallet (or purse) is. So i do not think that it is the case that these people are ignorant, but rather they don't care.
