Well, by the looks of it, you have 3 choices. A website about DDR, a website about the Legend of Zelda, or a website of both. I believe the DDR one would be easier to make, and the Legend of Zelda one would be more broad. To decide which one to make, I'd choose which one I'm better at.

What's an extra 10 pixels? Size restrictions never hurt anyone. It's a shame you're not entering cause of a little size restriction. But, meh, maybe next week? I just hope someone else enters a sig. Wouldnt wanna be alone in this...

That's rather big for a sig. Sigs usually come in sizes at most 400px in width and 150px in height.

I think some of the coding could be removed, and instead of a while loop, maybe a foreach statement would have been a better choice.

Yes, well, it was my first time using the GIMP. You require a lot of knowledge of the program in order to make sigs similar to the sigs made in Photoshop. The GIMP could use a lot more helpful features, though the ones it has now are pretty nice.

The GIMP is harder to use than I thought it would be. But, it has some pretty nice filters. It's perfect for making grunge brushes, maybe even fractals. It's also pretty easy in making multicolored backgrounds. Anyways, this is what I was capable of making in the program.

Not bad. A good spot for the site's name could be on top of the banner, aligned to the left. The layout would take at least 9 images for HTML use.

If you remove the render, that might be good for a website's banner, not a signature. That's not a valid sig size. Also, try to keep the render within borders. But, the render doesnt go with the background.

Looks good, also looks like I'ma be seeing this in SOTW #22. All i'd modify a bit is the reddish background of the text, make it more apparent just to make the text more visible.

Congrats on getting hosted! Looking forward to seeing those tiles. I might have some use for them, or may give me some inspiration for patterns.

AA is short for Anti-aliasing. You should be familiar with anti-aliasing by now.

Background is nice. The color is mostly the problem. The render's skin color doesnt match the background's color, imo. I agree with Dawiss, text stroke could use a different color, maybe a gradient.
