Oh well, that's because some topics are pretty inactive and the fellow feedbacker bumps them

The poll says it all, what's your favourite OS and why?Mine is Windows Vista and XP, I like both but for some laptops or old PC's, Vista's just a damn bottleneck even to new PC's, its aero effects occupy too much GFX Card VRAM and slows down the games. For XP, well it's old but I still like it, basic effects, no big deals in crashes (BSoD's instantly if a driver is bad) and it's easy to use, but not as hard as Vista btw. Also XP has more game compatibility atm, when Windows 7 is out, I will upgrade every PC at home.

Not very sure about who's best. But I am happy with my Compaq Presario , though it needs special SATA drivers put with nLite to work with Windows XP.

Why Google Is The Best Search Engine Among All
SpiderVV replied to tinoymalayil's topic in Search Engines
It always gives me the results I want. I never liked Live Search, too common and competence to Google. I first found it in like 2001 when I was like 8, I was browsing some sites and found it. Started searching for random s%$% and liked it. It's been always a great searcher for me, I could even get this and other websites with it, get mods and tutorials for Grand Theft Auto, Midtown Madness, and so many others. Because of it I am in like 4 GTA forums and I even forgot others. -
For example, check the browser Wyzo. It's practically Mozilla with addons, but made by other creators who got Mozilla's code. If I were a developer, I could also do one. Linux is the same, tons of "unknown" OS'es are made with Linux/Ubuntu code though they have custom themes, cursors, etc.

Well, that's true but we can only hope that Google doesn't lose their money. It's impossible how that's happening because, almost every search and google bot crawl gives them money. AdSense, GMail, all that stuff. But I think I know who's responsible for this. Uncle Gates.

It's natural. They are already in an operative system war...

What If People All Saw Things Differently?
SpiderVV replied to Nitefell's topic in Science and Technology
Well, imo all people would become mad. One would see what the others wouldn't and the world would be different for everyone, creating possible riots and a major crisis. -
I am Lost And Need Help Moving On Can't Get Over My Ex
SpiderVV replied to iGuest's topic in Dating And Relationships
Think on other stuff. As myke said, you can go on vacations, have a nice sunny beach visit, play some computer games that help you forget it, etc. You will see that you will forget her; of course it takes a long time as I believe it's difficult because such thing never happened to me (Still with my GF ). -
Adding that post of mine, I also like IV. Since I re-did it three times I got bored, the story is always the same and the city just starts to be boring. As I stated, I play GTA San Andreas because of the modding and better playability, this meaning better FPS counts (Around 80 outside and 100 inside interiors) and now that I have an Endorphin animation mod and a GTAIV vehicles mod, it's even better. It's like LC in SA.Talking about LC in SA, I also pass my time with GTA: United, which is a great mod. I was waiting for one called Gostown 7 but the developers seemed to leave it as it was too much work since 2003 when they first made it for Vice. And other thing I pass time with, Design Your Own Mission, a great CLEO mod to make your own missions and submit them to a site if you want... Ahh, good days they are.

In Multiplayer you will never get that as the internet activity if it's slow can decrease a lot of FPS. Known as MP Lagging. Intel cards have always been said the worse for games, so if you don't care about graphics, put everything on Very Low. or if you do, try tweaking a bit the settings, but warning, for example for me it happens in every game, on the menu where there is NO graphics its at like 200FPS but when I go in game the graphics card, CPU, etc starts to work and you'll get, of course a FPS decrease. But try what I've told you or try single player.

Well, not everyone has their time to go on Xisto. As I don't have much to do, I am always active, like these members. Though you're right, it may need a bit more of activity and these 500 guests should really join.
-
Well, you could also get Xisto. Not 17mb surely but a lot more expensive.

I hate Bing. I mean if you get a website link wrong, it redirects you to Bing. Microsoft is now controlling the internets. Still, it's great to search for products.

Sure. I was tired when I wrote that, didn't have much sense of life.

What Components You You Manage To Kill? PC components that died...
SpiderVV replied to Galahad's topic in Hardware Workshop
In the last 15 years I killed 2 Windows (3.11 ), 1 graphics card, 2 mouses. Nothing major, though the Windows still works, I repaired it for the lulz. (ahh, the time when I broke it... I was like... 3!) -
Well, the topic title says it all. Do you use Sketchup to mod games, like saving as .3ds and converting it? Discuss. I actually do. Here is a picture of some of my models outside the game (GTA): - A "facetable" one. I never converted this to a game due to its size. It was suposed to be a neighborhood. That was rendered with IDX Renditioner, a very nice one. The first model I made some months ago. I forgot to scale it so it went like this: LOL So, as I said, discuss and if you want post pictures! P.S: I made more, I just couldn't be arsed to take pics.
-
Nope. Like hacking other computers, websites, make offensive jokes in the internet, post (for example) pictures of yourself doing something funny all over the internet, et cetera.
-
I'm using uTorrent. Pretty good, never disappointed me.

I still use floppy disks from time to time to repair some old PC's I get at home. Also, yes I think external USB drives can also be used with ReadyBoost, your PC would have like 23G of RAM, that'd be epic. lol
