Hi friends, I have been a Ubuntu user for a long time. In Ubuntu, I used to use windows drives (NTFS) as normal as any other drive. Just a double click will open the drive for me. But in Mandriva to open a drive I have to go through a long procedure. I have to go to Local Disks option in customize your computer section. Then I have to create a mount point for each one of the NTFS partition and mount them. Then only I will be able to use NTFS partitions. Doing this everytime is time wasting. So guys, any other ways to mount NTFS drives on Mandriva?

Chrome didn´t impressed me. As it is in beta stage we shouldn´t expect much from it. But it doesn´t have any extensions. We cannot customize it as we do in Firefox. For now I´ll stick with my Firefox. If Chrome gets more options like Firefox then I´ll think about using Chrome.

May be, I think. Even in virtualbox, you have to configure ubuntu. But on Windows your internet is connected. So you can try that.

It doesn't work. I tried to send sms to my mobile. The addon confirmed that the message was sent but I didn't received the message. This addon is obsolete.

Official Google blog says : Initially there release for netbooks and then they extend it to others I think. Two days back Mashable has released photos of Chrome OS. Instead of spending thousands of dollars, I would create a wordpress site with a theme that suites the requirements and put the links of Youtube on my blog. There are few advantages with this. Wordpress is free and themes are numerous, so you can get the one that suites you. By uploading videos on Youtube we can save bandwidth and disk space if the videos are hosted on our servers.

Hosting files on Skydrive is secure than other free online storage services. Because other online storage services try to reduce their expenses by deleting inactive links etc etc. So there is no guarantee for our files over there. There are also some good free ones like Rapidshare, megaupload but CAPTCHA part and time delays is an issue.

25 gigs is a lot of space but 50mb is small for people like me. Even government officials in India are using this free services to notify their employees. It saves money...

Winblows? funny akashi! I wonder that Microsoft add this feature on windows 7. Microsoft is also doing some good these days....

Adbrite and Bidvertiser ads can be an alternative to Adsense, but the amount you earn per click is way lesser than what you earn with Adsense for same number of clicks. In my sense, there is no alternative to Adsense in terms of the number of advertisers they have and the amount they pay per click. You may try widgetbucks, Kontera, Yahoo Private network. I suggest you using CPM sites which pay you based on every 1000 page impressions. You can also google about this for more information. Best of luck.

I personally like DBpoweramp, the best free audio converter. It has very advanced options such as ID3 tag copying, multiple conversion at a time etc. Super converter is for advanced users and it never works for the first time. It works but you have give it a shot many times to get the correct working output.

Facebook is better than Myspace but not the best out there. I like Orkut becoz all my friends hang out there. So, the best social networking site differ from person to person.

The mobile video converter you mentioned is not a free one. There are many free ones which perform the same job at no cost. I personally like Super converter, Any video converter. They take any video file as input and provide the output as required.

I still don't understand why they release such crappy freeware. CDburnerXP and burnaware are far much better than this free version by Nero.

Nero free edition lack burning iso image feature. I am seeing if there is any workaround. Apart from burning images it has the other two features you've mentioned.

I think the last version you used may be Nero 7 or Nero 8. Nero 7 takes around 1.32 GB. so is the case with Nero 8. But Nero 9 takes only 10.7 mb. In program files it took 130 MB only. Not bad! Here is the proof : The Nero 9 free version only has data burning and disc copying feature (which is not there in CDburnerXP). It can erase re-writables.

Nero has released their first free edition. Anyone can download it. It is not OEM version. I want a software that tracks each and every action performed by other softwares. For example, I have spotify, I want to know what folders it is accessing and websites etc.

Well, Bidvertiser and Ad-brite pay very low. Bidvertiser is better than Adbrite in case of ads published. Adbrite ads are not for all people. In case of click frauds, I've seen many people got their accounts reactivated, surely not all. To reactivate your account, you have to contact them and your tone has to be polite, you have tell from which IP address those clicks came and the reason and you have show proofs that you are ignorant. If that satisfy them then they will surely reactivate you account.

I love ebay. I bought a pen drive at ebay, the shopping went smooth and in 1 week I had it. Also I love those coupon codes and discounts that ebay give to their customers. At India, ebay is cool! Well, I am not that stubborn Mr.Wutske. I am not saying that Google is bad, they are sucking money from customers........like that. What I am highlighting is the view of Richard Stallman on Cloud O.S. technology. He said if you use cloud technology then the data will be in the hands of others which is not good. He mentioned that your data has to be yours and it will be safer in your hands only. This is the view of Richard Stallman. Wutske view of Chrome O.S. is like another Ubuntu, which is standalone O.S. If such is the case then we all gladly welcome it. I am not a person who always spend life criticizing others. There is difference in my view and your view of Chrome O.S. Just want to clarify the misunderstanding between you and me. Anyways I wait till Chrome is released, and definitely that will clarify my doubts about it.
