I have y! messenger and gtalk account, and use pidgin as my IM client so that i don't need to have 2 IM client (ym and gtalk client) in my desktop. The problem is, pidgin doesn't support voice. I heard about empathy, an application similar to pidgin which you can use voice conversation with it. But it's only for linux. If there is any IM client which support ym and gtalk protocols and also support voice (and / or webcam), could you share it. I heard about imo (https://imo.im/ register) too, but i prefer a computer application than a web application.

Open Any Unknown File Type With Notepad Make Notepad as default file opener
akashi replied to pasten's topic in Programming
I prefer drag the file into notepad than editing my registry. not all ppl know about this registry things and how it important is.About error in notepad character encoding, maybe you don't have the proper character encoder. you still can try to change the character code to ANSI or UTF8 or unicode when opening that file. -

If we're still using those words, then once there will be a new phobia. A syndrome of being afraid of long words like youknowwhat.. -

A Brief Review Of Google Os [aka] Google Chrome Os
akashi replied to ashutosh_malguri's topic in Science and Technology
@jihaslipYep, i've read that from chromium site. But I don't want to install it because of it's privacy problem.@angeWhat do you mean with "Btw, there are websites to let you create/customize your own Linux flavor."? -
and why it shouldn't? maybe he's from a country who use hebrew as their character. nw, this really doesn't relate here.It partly relates because most of us are probably unable to help reading the texts, and are not familiar with the database settings for hebrew characters!

A Brief Review Of Google Os [aka] Google Chrome Os
akashi replied to ashutosh_malguri's topic in Science and Technology
Yep, they're different. As SpiderVV said, it's a linux with google chrome browser inside it, and you run your apps inside the browser. But this only useful for ppl who spend their time time on the web. For they who don't have a nice net connection, than this would be a big problem. I'd rather using Ubuntu + linux version of Google chrome (haven't released yet) than downloading google chrome OS But if google planning to develope a new linux distro (not a cloud OS one), then it's worth enough to try ;p -
So, they put the watermark when we convert the artx files into template files. I read about this here : http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ It's really painful, but it's worth enough to try Maybe I'll try it later, when I use XP of course. I'm sure they haven't made any package for linux yet ;p

Does this also happen even we're downloading legal materials, such as linux distro, etc? If yes, than it really sucks.

Once i heard about this "lucid dream" things, but i don't understand it very much. I saw that at the TV, and it looks so cool. You can aware while you're sleeping. Is it real? Has anyone really tried it? They sell CD so that we can experience it. Has anyone tried it?

Hm, but that doesn't mean we can have / distribute licensed materials such as mp3, movie, and dvd, right?
