Traffic exchange programs are bad, real bad. You just surf around for nothing, people don't even look at your site, and you get no quality visitors. These people won't click on an ad, they won't come back to your site ever again. I'm starting to doubt if they even are people. Maybe some 'traffic generators', just doing hits on your site, which is something you do not want. What's the difference are there 1000 or 10000 impressions if the revenue is the same? There's no point joining traffic exchange programs, and they all are based on the same script. I have tried them all!

WEB DESIGN COPYRIGHTS the untold debate
ackotheadvertiser replied to Saint_Michael's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I think aerin is pretyt right in here. People are really trying hard to do the right design for their site(s), and not being copyrighted is like giving a deer to the lions(tigars, leopards, whatever). Some lazy dude will just copy your design and than start adding maybe some more sofisticated content, and start earning more than you-which is not right. Everything you do in photoshop(or every other software) without using any 'already done' stuff belongs to you, and people should not have the right to copy it. It's like a piece of art. -
I was playing Need for Speed:Most Wanted as my first NFS game and loved it. It had been so speedy, and the graphic was something new and great, the campaign was fun to play, the gameplay was good. Than I got Need for Speed: Carbon, and it was a OK game as well, the graphic was a little approved, the story was ok, but it was easier than Most Wanted, and the cars and the music were worse than the ones in MW. That's what I didn't liked. Than when Pro Street was out, I couldn't wait to have it, the youtube videos about it were so well made and it looked so real and fun. Than when I got it, I find out that it wasn't that good. The system requirements were up to the almost highest(in that time), and the story was a huge zero-it was the worst video game disapointment ever! How is the new need for speed game?

Animal Cruelty Why do people harm helpless animals
ackotheadvertiser replied to velma's topic in Home & Garden
I think only idiots abuse animals, by the reason they don't have a smarter thing to do or they are just too dumb to understand that they are creatures as well and they have feelings on their own(probably). And still, animals do nothing wrong to people, they treat them as friends and the ones who haven't been abused don't attack for no reason.I have a friend who says that his grandfather(at village lol) have put their dog to sleep, with a single injection(not even amnesia), and now he's probably feleing sad or something, he even went to see his death body being eated by the flies. But the point is, that dog had probably being feeling as a part of the family, as their friend. And now in winter there was probably not a lot of work for it, so the old man just killed it for no reason, without any feelings. That's pretty cruel. Also, the kids at school kick dogs for no reason and I hate to see when they laugh at it. What's so funny? You wanna show up being stronger, funny or something? Go find someone bigger than you! And yes, people torture cats, dogs, turtles and other animals just to take some funny pictures and than they upload them on the Internet. -
I Must Have Been Living Under A Rock
ackotheadvertiser replied to henrijs's topic in Computer Gaming
Maybe I was too for some time and than I got Internet and saw that everybody is so interested in the halo serials. So I strated being as well untill I got Halo 2. It really wasn't that good! Maybe because I had been playing it on Windows XP, I installed it using some bios tool or something. It might be me, but I almost hated it. I was playing all alone, those hundreds of alien robots were storong, not as I was used at other games. I've seen Halo 3 screenshots, and it looks pretty good. -
I've read about this as well. According to Nostradamus, in 2006 the muslims will start hiding into the caves, they'll start preparing weapons and all, and some of them will even make a nuclear bomb. The World War III will start in November 2010. The nuclear bomb is going to DESTROY the mediterranean!Tousands will suffer, millions will die, 'thanks' to the nuclear bomb, and Europe is going to be 'running' by the muslims(people with islamistic religion). What I think, there are two options:1. People are just trying to get attention, or visits to their sites and blogs. They want to earn money by getting other worried 'by death'. That;s insensitive, and if there are not any of those predictions written by Nostradamus, if people just invented it, those sites and blogs should be banned and closed.2. This was really written by Nostradamus, and it might happen. Well, in that case, we better get ready for it. I sure don't want my life to end because of someone's 'understanding of the world'. That doesn't makes any sense! Killing so many is not gonna solve anything, it's just gonna make the world go a few steps backwards. Women won't go to school(according to their believing, they are not allowed to study), there are going to be imperialistic wars again, the world is gonna be a whole big mess, and millions will suffer. Nations will die, cultures will die, dreams will die. No one should apologise of their way of life, if they are not doing something wrong. Trying to make it better or their people(for me, we are all one, there are no our, your or their people(you get the picturre)), they are just gonna make everybody suffer and die. Maybe I'm getting a little off the subject, but I think that it's better for everyone if things stay as they are, and people once forget about killing and making other people suffer. People are the only 'sort' in the world who actually kill each other because of nothing-at least nothing real. We don't know if there's 'someone' up in the sky watching us, we don't know is there paradise or hell, we can only guess. So is anything worth of risking yours or someone else's life?

If you're asking me, time goes to one direction only, and that's an impossible thing to change. You think you would be able to visit yourself in the childhood one day? Think again. If you would of done that, you would of have already lived it(you would remember some older man saying weird things while you were a kid). But, maybe some day...

Adsense Going Downhill? Not paying, low pay, etc.
ackotheadvertiser replied to rpgsearcherz's topic in Business Forum
I started hating AdSense but I may start using them again. I was a month away from my check being cashed(you have to wait 1month for the bank to 'do' it), and I got banned because some unemploied guy made 65 clicks. I didn't knew how to contact them and I just waited to get banned and than try to get unbanned. When I got banned, by an(as they say) 'serious investigation'(THERE SURE IS NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!!), I sent 10 online appeal forms to them. I got answers from 3 of them, that they are reviewing them. By actually begging them to unban me, as I was banned unfairly, they just replied(after the 10th appeal) that they denied my appeal. Oh, and yes, in the bank, they said that I have to pay them $15,l because their bank asked for that money. I didn't knew what to do, so I just gave those fifteen bucks away. Do they even apologised? You probably know the answer of this question. AdSense will regrate this-one day!The small revenue is probably you get irregular clicks, for example, 3impressions and 32 clicks(as I got once), and than you'll get $0. And I know-from an investigation, that they do not pay for every click, they don't even show you the correct number of clicks. And what is this 'max bid' thing? I bet no one in here would say that they got more than $3 per click(I've got $1.4-HARDLY). And we can't seem to get rid of all those sucesful adsense stories, which people use as an excuse to make a BAD designed site with not owning it's own domain and try to sell us books or something. I'm getting sick of AdSense. And what about PINs(Personal Identification Codes)? I'm going to register my neighbour or something!? -
Email Marketing Mass email marketing tools
ackotheadvertiser replied to EdgabtheGreat's topic in Online Advertising
I don't recommend using email marketing tools-I have nothing against it, but that will annoy people and may even get you banned from the affilate program, because no one wants to recieve marketing emails, and from experience I'll tell you that if you send a mass email to 1000persons, you will get about 50 visits, and they'll just take a look and leave, there's no sense doing it. It's just way to risky, and it's better if you work on your content, advertising and SEO instead of sending mass spam emails around. -
Do You Use Blogger? Vote In The Poll
ackotheadvertiser replied to rlineker's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Yes, I do use blogger and I have many blogs(somewhere areound 15), but I only got 6avg.(once it has 19, once 16, and once 2 lol) visitors per day on one of them, and it's the only one sumbited to google se, and it's content is copied. I feel pretty sattesfied from blogger.com(blogspot.com), because their services are great, you can add so many different things to your blog very easy, and it sure is very easy to update your blog. If you work on it you can probably bring it up earning $600/m (I know a guy who says he earns $400/m and he gave me a few tricks), which is a great revenue for a blog. But we started abusing blogger.com, by just filling it with our(maybe here are some good bloggers, if so I do excuse) bad, copied content, and just trying to earn money the easy way-which does not exist. Blogger gives a lot of opportunities, we just have to use them the right way. For instance, we cna add news, html or java script, polls, and even a blog logo. That's something pretty awsome for the ones looking for sipmle way to express themselves, or anyone trying not to bother with web design and all. And by clicking 'Next Blog', we sure won't find any useful blogs, at least 80% of them are like the ones above. -
Yeah, Zymic.com is awsome, they give 6GB and you don't have to pay for anything(unlike 110mb.com, where you have to pay if you want to use MySQL). Once I couldn't connect via FTP and couldn't do any site updates, but that was fixed in like day or two. I was wondering, is it possible to buy a domain from Xisto - Support.com, and than just point the nameservers to ns1.uuuq.com and ns2.uuuq.com, and than go to your Zymic control panel, and do 'Add a custom domain', and than you just add, for example yoursite.com, will everything be fixed? If I write yoursite.com, will yoursite.uuuq.com appear(badly said)? How does this thing works? And yes, I think Zymic's support service is great as well, they always answer, and your site loads faster than 000webhost.com and 110mb.com(I made a small test, correct me if I'm wrong).

Google Chrome - Your Opinion? have you guys tried it?
ackotheadvertiser replied to y4nzi's topic in Software
According to me, Google Chrome was made so google can spy on their users(double e-mail,double AdSense accounts, avoiding their unfair AdSense ban, tricking AdWords, using proxy servers to cheat, talking bad about 'Google' etc.). When you delete the cookies, they get them. They might even get your passwords, the sites you visit at most, how long you stay on those sites(it's like free online survey for them). So that all will end with getting banned, not be able to protect your privacy, and sometime in the future-EVERY TIME YOU TYPE 'I HATE GOOGLE' YOUR PC WILL BURN OUT LOL.This is just a theory. -
Which software is best? Adobe Photoshop or 3D MAX
ackotheadvertiser replied to odomike's topic in Software
Every one of these two applications is great, but it sure depends what are you using them for.Photoshop:You can learn it in weeks. Yes-by seeing three or four tutorials you already know what the point is, you'll learn the 'blending options' stuff, maybe few effects tricks. Photoshop is great for web design, forum signatures, logo designs etc. It's sure very simple to learn, and you can even make animations with it. You can create a whole commercial with it. You can download brushes, plug-ins, renders, C4D renders, textures etc. Many people download fonts only because they want to use them in photoshop. You can get some money from working in it.3D Studio Max:Now if you start learning the 3DS Max, it won't take weeks. It will take months! Rotating around and rendering-that's the big PLUS in 3D modeling. You can get lots of images for an object, you can see the way it'll look like with different materials and all. By seeing a few tutorials, you'll get some picture about the interface and how stuff is suposed to work. You can sell some of your 3D models and scenes, and you can get free ones from the Internet, f you want to make an animation without working that hard. You can make a small 'intro', a cartoon or even a whole freaking video game(only the models,of course). But it's pretty difficult to learn-the polygonal modeling, the modiffers, lights, effects-that's all neceserry for a good scene. And one thing s for sure: It's TOO expensive!!! -
Cod4 Is Best On What? xbox, pc or ps3?
ackotheadvertiser replied to flashy's topic in Computer Gaming
I've tried it only on pc, and I think it was pretty good. Hacks!?-It's such an easy game, I''ve finished it in like 15-18 hours. Anyway, it's fun. -
What Author/series Would You Recommend?
ackotheadvertiser replied to Zeyomie's topic in General Discussion
I read books at level 5(Intermediate), because I'm not from the US or UK, and I fully understand them. I like the Sherlock Holms books- the famous detective. The books I read are probably re-writen for level 5 learners, but I liked them anyway.I've read the Harry Poter series on my language, and I think they are a pretty interesting thing to read. -
I think that 'board sports' are pretty fun for a certain adrenaline 'doze', but I don't know if they are healthy. Probably not, and they are pretty dangerous. According to me, cycling is pretty fun and healthy, and it's less dangerous. If you are asking me, get some not hevy ball and go into the water! You know which sport I'm talking about, that's the best exercise and almost the best fun a man can get. Cheers

For watching Internet(Satellite) TV on your PC, I recommend using 'Satellite TV for PC 2009'. It's an ok software and it sure has lots of channels.
-
Yes I sure aree with this. When I started making sites and forums, for like about a year and a half from now, I wasn't looking for money, but something to fill my time with. I wasn't even good at it. But than I started learning photoshop and web design and everything went different... Would of I been that interested lately if there weren't any money in the game? I would not-for sure. A good site is like a TV channel, the best content you have, the more commercials you'll get(and in the web business that means more visits=more money). If there wasn't for the advertising, 99% of the sites we know weren't be in here. Advertising actually provides us the good content we get from the Internet every single day, and still, people know so little about it. But as soft as advertising policies get, as more copied and unlegimate content we get! Now that's the bad part, and there are so many 'web applications' which copy the keywords you searched, and they show up at the first page, so an un-experienced user would just search and search before they find what they need. And the spamming has become a real pain in you know where. We just get all these spam e-mails and all.. But we should ignore those, it's just a small price for what the Internet offers us.And yes, By The Way, Ads do make the Internet!
-
Okay, this was also meant for my site, so please do not abuse as well. It's just news. What do you think? According to me, I'd like to have it, but it's a bit too expensive. Here's the article:As for now, I'll be giving full details on the capability of the one and only.. The Touch-screen Table. This great Product will be released in stores in 2010, and will cost anywhere between $4,000 to $10,000. Depending on your location. Some of the amazing features this product holds are (for example) the Image and Video viewing. If you have an every-day Digital Camera, you could easily withdraw photos and video files simply by placing your digital camera on top of the glass layer of the Touch-screen Table. Once you've withdrawn the desired Photos and/or Videos, you can Scale their size and even move them around as if they were really on the table. As for having some touch-screen fun, you can easily draw using hundreds of different Brushes and Tools that will each individually affect your illustration. Drawing on the Touch-Screen table allows you to use anything, as long as it can touch the screen. If you want to use all of your fingers to draw at once, that's easily possible. "It's as Easy as touching a screen", as some might say. One of the very interesting Features of the Touch-Screen table include Food! Yes, Food! The Touch-Screen table allows you to select out of hundreds of restourants depending on your Location, and then you can easy click and drag the food into a basket! Then, you place your Credit Card on the Glass Layer of the Table, and it withdraws the money on it's own! Within 30 minutes of your time, you will have your food delivered to you, and no Cash is needed. It's as Easy as That. Yes, this is For Real.

Ok, this is little something meant for my site, hopefully it'll be up in the next 2 weeks. I wrote it about Halo 4, Should Bungie whatever make it or not:You've probably heard people around you arguing about the fact of whether Bungie should make a Halo 4, or not. Bungie obviously stated that Halo 3 would absolutely end the Halo series, due to it's Storyline... But as you may know, the MasterChief fell asleep and drifted into space, he did not die. With this in mind, we know that there's a chance the Aliens might strike back. But what could Halo 4 Campaign be like? Could the aliens possibly come back and try to defeat the Humans for the 4th time? The reason 50% of Halo Fans hated the Campaign, was because it was basically the same thing over again. Aliens.. Against Humans. But we have to remember, the Master Chief floated away in his pod, didn't he? Now where do you think that will lead him... We'll have to wait, and find out. It's what you've all been aiting for. Bungie has decided to show you everything about their currently In-Production Videogame. The new Halo game will defenetily bring out the true colours of Bungie, with their defenite structure As Quoted by their Producer. The new details that will brighten your gameplay are long-lasting and enjoyable, Simply Amazing. Screenshots and other sorts of gathered information can be found (Where else but) on Google or Yahoo. This has been referred as the 'Halo 3 Spin-off'. Halo 3(which Bungie is still supporting by publishing new maps and stuff): Recon, everybody. First announced in Tokyo. Please DO NOT ABUSE. Thank you.

I think that there are no UFO evidences, because noone from the big shots wants there to be ones. We will all just...PANIC, and there'll start some rumors about attacking, and than another guy trying to earn some revenue on the net will think of something, and the photoshopers will start working and it'll become like this Planet X thing, but more realistic probably. According to me, they exist, but visiting the Earth-WHY? I mean, don't they have satelites or something lol. If aliens were visiting this planet, they probably would of be scared of us, and sure not coming anywhere close. Or they were just spying around for so long, so they now come here to...whatever. And lets not forget, who can trust evidences these days? Pixel by pixel, anything could be made so unbelievebly real. And there are so many videos and all, but lets say that 10% of those are true. What are the chances that your PROFESSIONAL video camera would of been around while an alien is trying to eat you or something. And sometimes I think of these stuff(probably because I'm intelligent ), and it does not makes that much sense.Oh, and by the way, UFO's exist, and one of the evidences is that UFO=Unidentified Flying Object(which could be a small bag of trash).Greetz and stay cool.

Anyone Tried Digg As A Marketing Tool?
ackotheadvertiser replied to Ouroboros's topic in Online Advertising
I think that being active at digg, and posting news every day will bring up some visitors. If you are lucky, they'll make more than one impression. The more 'diggs' you get, the more you'll be getting. -
Banner Exchange is it worth it?
ackotheadvertiser replied to Echo_of_thunder's topic in Online Advertising
I think banner exchange is good for you only if the site you are swaping ads with has more visitors than you do. Otherways, as much visitors you get-as much you lose.
