  1. i like adobe dreamweaver for most of my website work, enables you to keep a constant back up up your site and preview changes in a browser before you upload

  3. I recently ran across http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ when searching for the pretender season 4, thought id share it with everyone
  4. google already has cloud os and microsoft also has a version of cloud coming out, cloud computing is going to be something we hear more about in the future, eyeos has the code availabe to download free to put on your own server to host your files and many applications... there will be drawbacks but even those will be overcome in time
  5. I tried it and all i get is a command prompt, im not an expert but not a novice either, in my opinion when they have a fourth attempt im sure it will be worth looking into, but the third is not there yet
  6. ive been searching for an os that does all i want... doesnt exist im sure but ill give this a try i like to try new things... who knows what one might achieve with opensource
  7. win avi will convert your videos to dvd, and the menu screen is great, for ripping dvds i prefer dvdfab5 it simple and works great, there are many ways to acheive what is mentioned and the main differences are time, dvdsanta for instance was very slow when i converted a few videos with it, but they worked great

  9. with alot of companies and individuals moving to online storage, I would think buying a harddrive that size would be more expensive than just paying a low monthly fee to store your files
  10. with vmware player my windows not only looks like a mac it is a mac
  11. i like tunebite to play and work with the audio and video i have, mplayer is my favorite free product
  12. i for one think that after paying 30.00 for a game that doesnt even offer offline play is wrong, the one i bought had been tampered with and i didnt even have a valid 30 day serial number... at least i can play mario without internet when my bills get to high and i cant pay the dsl bill
  13. I have a 4gig u3 cruizer micro, and also 1gig sd in my motorola L7i... had a few others but who knows where they are now

  17. not to be cruel, but dont do anything stupid or dangerous... just wait it out.. then in two weeks post an update to your situation... I have a feeling you will find it is resolved

It might sound crazy but i once after a bad breakup quit my job and wandered homeless for about a year, it was a neat experience and there are plenty places to stay the night eat ect, you would be suprised who you meet... then one day just went back to work when i found a town i liked.... sometimes detaching yourself from everything and just relying on faith will get you far
  19. I have always had problems with IE, but i need it for things like netflix and other IE Dependent software so i guess ill have to live with it, i mostly use google chrome for every thing else
  20. I use adobe cs3 suite and its great for building websites, designing logos, editing video, photo touch ups, and much more... nothing i cant do with it, not always the easiest to use but very functional

I prefer mandriva one 2009, it looks good, works great and has a lot to offer, plus i never have trouble setting up my different wireless cards, second would be opensuse 10,or go for open solaris, it is a unixbased offering from sun... although wireless drivers are a problem or id be running it now
  22. I ran across a new gentoo based linux called zonbu, looks neat and it backs up all your files online for easy access from anywhere
  23. I found a cool application, that offers online storage games and applications to go, the even have the script available for free to build your own webOS
  24. I like the video download helper addon, great for downloading movies and music, i use it all the time and the quality is great, if i want to watch a movie i just download it the night before and without any inturuption i can watch it ragardless if internet peoblems
