Thats funny.... I like get one or two spam emails a month in gmail. I think they must have a really good filter or something, because in hotmail I get like 30 spam emails per month. Maybe its because my gmail account is older than my hotmail account, but I dont know really. What I do know is that the more you post your email in webpages, forums, blogs.. etc, the more spam you are likely to get.

Im going to have to vote for Mich, I guess its because I did not like the text on the other sig;s much. Well actually Delivi's is good but I preferred Mich's though, it really is a tough decision becaus Delivi's stands out the most. I would like to give half to each but I guess thats not possible...

Very helpfull indeed, I cant believe I didnt learn this in programming class, or maybe I did but I have forgotten it. Well Actually I do remember studying some algorithms but nothing as descriptive as this. Thanks.

What I would do is sue them, and also sue Murphy for making his law. That way you can get attention to your case and I dont know, maybe something interesting could happen. Everybody has heard about the person who sued god right?

I saw Nikola Tesla in the Prestige movie also. It was a pretty interesting movie. I had read in a science article about science electricity a while ago, and I guess it should be about a decade away before we have wireless electricity. Cities are definitely going to look much cleaner without all those cables flying around the streets. Nice..

Me and my friends hosted a party last Saturday, It was really cool, I dj'd for my second time and everybody like it. We had costumes and glowsticks and we burned a huge elmo pi?ata. It was really fun, it was kind of like our prehalloween party. Since we know we cant compete with the parties coming next week. Next friday I will be going to a massive halloween party, they organize it every year and they are really cool. There is not much trick or treating here, Im not at the age anyways.

I've Discovered That Wrestling Is A Scam wrestling scam for real
FLaKes replied to sitesmakers's topic in General Discussion
Of course its fake, its all acting. If it was really fighting then the fighters wouldnt really last that long, and you would see a lot of injured fighters. Evverything is planned in the best way they can get more money. I still think it is somewhat entertaining though -
Cool, looks like I can finally try Linux, Im about to do a fresh install of windows which I will keep for music production, and the other partition for internet will be with Linux, specially this version. I hope its not to hard to find drivers for my pc, I have heard its a pain. The only game I play at the moment is Civilization4 and Quake3, so as long as I can run them with cedega or wine then I will be fine, though If I cant play them then I wouldnt really mind because I would rather play and record music anyway.

Computer Screw Wont Come Out =( Help me get this screw out please
FLaKes replied to FLaKes's topic in Hardware Workshop
Hi BuffaloHelp, thanks for the quick reply. Sorry for not being descriptive with my post. You are right about me not describing what type of screw it is, well the screw is not in a sensitive area, it is some sort of plate that covers the heat sink and fans. Thanks for the damaged screw remover idea, I did not know such things existed. Im not a US resident but there is actually a Sears somewhere downtown, I guess I will go and buy one. I guess I could apply such force to the screw but I dont know if there will be an extractor for this type of screw, it is really small :S. When the screw comes out, do you think that another one could be put in its place? or will the screw socket also be damaged?Thankyou for this very useful information Buffalo -
Hello Xisto Friends, I am posting this because I need help to get a computer screw unscrewed, the problem is that I sort of forced it a while back and it is sort of deformed. I am able to get all the other screws out except this particular screw. I need to get it out so that I can check the thermal paste on my processor and to clean the heatsink. I might even swap out the processor soon, so before I buy a new processor for it, I need to be able to get that screw unscrewed. Does anyone here have any tricks or ideas?Thanks..

I also find having 5 cores sort of wierd. Im also not really interested into jumping into this new cores fight as many applications arent yet ready for this type of hardware, so It wouldnt really boost up the speed that much, though its really just around the corner. I am doing perfectly fine with a pentium 4 and 2 gigs of ram at the moment. I will be saving money to buy an awesome laptop whenever I feel that the pentium 4 starts to struggle with the future applications. Right now my laptop runs perfectly though kind of hot.

I would love to take a cruise, it seems like a really nice vacation. Though I havent ever investigated any prices or anything, the ones I have seen in movies make them look awesome.

Well thats going to be really great news for people who wanted to have a baby anyways. Imagine that, they want a child and now they are even going to get a prize for it. Lets just hope irresponsible parents dont just have a child for the prize and then regret having that child. I think that the most effective way of increasing the number of population would be to promote good economy and increase job opportunities and promote that throughout the world. Thats what Australia is doing, though I dont really know how its working out for them, I am tempted to go to Australia though.
-
I think this is excellent, these type of restrictions are the ones I do like not like the ban of the Grand Theft Auto game, which I thought was a ridiculous law passed by the Australian government. This is really good for ecology, and I definitely support it.

If you get earphones be sure to get some that are comfortable, regular headphones are usually comfortable. I really cant stand earphones.

Thats good to know, Im about to install windows 2 times in different partitions on my pc, I dont want to be loosing my precious xp serial since it is sort of hard to find xp now days. I really dont want or need vista at the moment. I dont want to be calling microsoft either, just a waste of time since I can prove that my serial is original... its an oem version that came with my lap so there.

I really dont know about steel or concrete blocking radiation, but I suppose it will be very hard for the people that will work on this project. I bet lots of safety precautions will need to be taken so that the workers dont get irradiated.

Its nice but I think it could use more graphics, to make the graphical user interface more friendly. Im sorry but to be honest the navigation links are horrible, I cannot see them, I had to select the text to be able to read them. Well that is my opinion, try using a css menu for the navigation with on hover effects, that would make it more interesting, and edit the text in the main menu, add some margins or something. Its sort of difficult to read text all accros an entire page.

Lol, I also agree that vista will most probably end up as windows ME. I mean, windows xp works perfectly fine in most computers, and if you really want to upgrade just because of the visual appearance then go buy yourself aston shell or windows blinds. It will be healthier for your pc since you will require less ram for the OS and it would also leave your wallet happier. All I have heard about vista are problems at the moment, it will probably take a couple of months for everything to be worked out for it. Not many programs have been upgraded to vista yet.
-
There is another program that can customize the visual appearance of your desktop, they claim that it really does not slow down the computer since it replaces the shell of windows xp or vista. It looks really great, I was checking the themes and there are some really great themes. Its not free though, you can find more information for this at http://themes.astonshell.com/ I would rather buy this program than windows vista, everything I need runs perfectly fine and fast in windows xp, there is no need for vista with this shell, it looks a whole lot better than vista or osx.
