Xhtml is like the evolution of html, its the next step for html. It stands for eXtensible Hypertext Markup Language. It is more strict than html, by this it means that certain elements were removed or changed. For instance, you can have to close every tag you make, even the br! < /br>, and you have to separate presentation from content (put presentation on a style sheet). In Xhtml you arent supposed to have a font property, color etc in each text, instead you define a tag and use it in all your text. This is supposed to be a standard that will be, or is, a cross browser solution for many navigators, and it comes in three flavors: strict, transitional and frameset.

Gta Vice City PC version Anything about GTA Vice City, tips
FLaKes replied to zippy77's topic in Computer Gaming
I actually like just fooling around in the game then actually passing the missions. I think the cop missions are really fun but then when the police get in my way is when I loose the cop missions because I end up killing everbody, I dont think that should happen since you are working for the cops. As I said, I like fooling around, I definetely dont like it with cheats because thats when the game gets boring, with the cheats. I remember when you start a new game I would be able to get to the other island without acomplishing a single mission or using cheats. All you have to do is throw a couple of cars in the water next to where the diaz or cortez missions are, then you jump on them and back to the harbor and steal a boat. You like go around the entrance with the cars in the water. Try it, its real fun, you can come back to the main island with rocket launcher and helicopter and the missions will be funner at the beginning. -
Yea!! Civilization IV is going to rule so much that I wont mention any other games because I simply wont have time for them.

Daddy Long Legs Did You Know its most poisonous
FLaKes replied to devildude93's topic in General Discussion
I was taught not to be afraid of them or kill them because they were supposed to be "good" spiders because they are not aggresive to humans or poisonus, and besides they trap mosquitos and bugs. Know I dont know what to believe but anyway I have never touched them and never will. Definetely not gonna eat one ever. -
My First Flash Movie Clip Using the flash player
FLaKes replied to wow's topic in General Discussion
Wow, those are impressive. What surprised me the most is that it really didnt take time to load. -
Look no more, and get Civilization IV!!! I think its the most complete strategy game that has ever existed. Its like if they combined an rpg game with a strategy game. Ive been playing the Civilization series since Civilization II, and all I can say about it is that it is the most addictive game that I have ever played. You will never get bored with it. But beware because youll end up quiting lots of things you can do for playing this game.

I just saw the Nintedo revolution controller, and ..... Boy is this really going to be a revolution. Though I really stopped liking nintendo after the gamecube (and Ive always been a strong nintendo fan) I think this will be the console that will win the console wars. Just because of the fact that games will be a whole lot more interactive than the other consoles making them a whole lot more fun. Yes, xbox has awesome online play and playstation 3 will have good games too, but I bet everyone is going to want to play virtual tennis or cook or play guitar or something not just by pressing buttons or moving a joystick but actually pretend and do the movements. I was totally impressed by it, though I think Im going to end up with the three consoles. Especially because they are going to come out in different dates.

Wow!!! Amazing!!!I totally want one of those!! I dont know what to do now. I guess Im going to end up with all three consoles.

Your Favorite Rpg Game and why its your favorite
FLaKes replied to XxPrinceValoxX's topic in Computer Gaming
I really like ChronoTrigger. It was the game that introduced me to Rpgs. Before this game I would think that rpgs were slow and boring games (I never considered zelda and diablo type games to be rpgs) were you had to wait for your turn to attack and things like that. I really liked this game because you get absorbed by the games story and how everything comes a long. Final fantasy 7 was really really awesome too. I really liked the animations and specially the hi tech fantasious mystical graphics. Its crazy. I cant wait for ff7 to come out on ps3. -
I remember seeing somewhere that the Japanese have commercially developed a robot who is capable of recognizing people and holding conversation with them. I think its price was around $3,000 and he can do chores and protect the house by detecting intruders and sending you video feed or message to you cell phone. What do you all think about that? Do you think its worth it for the price? I think that in a few more years we are going to have, (what was the jetsons maid name?)... whatever... We are going to have these type of robots in our houses.

What if evil things are done with these nano bots. Since everyone is replying on how good can they be, what if this technology falls in the wrong hands or something. Though I dont really think this would happen its just a thought.

I just started liking Anime a lot, this happened when I saw the trip of Chijiro, which I thought was an awesome movie. I really dont know the difference between anime and manga, but since Ive seen some real good anime movies lately I voted for anime. Does anybody know if Dragonball and Zodiac warriors also count as manga. They are the cartoons I sort of grew up with, which I think are awesome.

Yes. I feel like if the same thing has happened to me. When I was 13 - 19 years old, I would have all the time in the worlds. I look back to those days and it is sad to remember how I wasted a lot of time. Right now, days are full of activities from the second I get up in the morning.

Einstein's Quiz Quiz written by Albert Einstein
FLaKes replied to serendib's topic in Art & Creativity
I really looked at it in the fun side and pretended that the person who ends up with an unknown pet would eventually be the owner of the fish. As soon as I finished reading the problem, I thought it would be those stupid problems were the answer ends up being nothing, and after a few tries I thought it was an unsolvable problem and I was about to quit. I just kept trying and about half hour later I solved it and read the stupid conclusion about no one mentioning the fish (just as I predicted), but in the end I had the problem right and the best part is that I had fun with it. -

Wasnt there already a post about this a couple of months ago? Where some dogs where killed or nearly killed but they inserted some liquid to freeze them inside in the blood or something, then they would operate them and heal their wounds bringing them back to life. They also gave examples on how this would help people who got stabbed or shot or any other accident where they could be suspended until they were treated and healed. -
What?Simcity has always been a good and entertaining game. Though all people are different so I dont blame you, and that is good because without that everything would be boring. I Remember when I had the first simcity that would run on Dos. It was a real fun game, and godzilla would attack and destroy your city, lol.Did anyone ever play it on DOS?

That hasnt happened to me, and I do have long messages. Maybe ill try and get a closer look.

I was talking on the phone while I was navigating the internet in explorer and whenever I would scroll down a noise interfered on the phone. I kept doing it to ensure that it was because I scrolled down, and it did happen again. I guess its because I was on wireless and the phone and internet connection come from the same line but I can use them simultaneously (adsl?). I didnt try it on firefox but everytime I use firefox when I scroll down it makes a screechy noise. Does it happen to everyone else?

Cool! now I dont have to throw them at the wall to watch them break into little pieces when they are scratched or simply dont work. I can simply just eat it! I hope they taste good, cause I really dont take good care of a lot of them. What about the radiation from the laser? would it harm you? you could leave it in the cd rom for a while till it gets warm enough to eat. Whatever, at least it will be lots of fun eating cds while you play games or something, like if they were chips. LOL.

Linux, Linux Users, Linux Community, Etc. Me expressing my hate for Linux
FLaKes replied to dymondgurl's topic in The Vent
I think Linux is a very good alternative to windows, but its not yet as easy to use as windows. I used to think the same thing about linux, I was just like you (probably still am just a little bit) the only reason I wanted to install it is because I wanted to see for myself what the big deal was, and just like you I wasnt really impressed. The main purpose for linux right now is networking, some friends I stick a lot with like it very much, as do the programmers. The only way to love linux is to hate windows (which I dont), Im not using it right now because for everything I do windows is easier, but Im not denying the fact that we will see linux competing with windows in the next couple of years. I think that some distributions have a very big future, and some very good programs are being made (right now you can find a good web editing program called Quanta wich is really awesome, way better than dreamweaver, there is also gimp for graphics, not as good and pretty as photoshop but for being free I think its awesome, I have yet to try this audio editing program which I forgot what its called, just like this there are more programs) It does take time but I think its worth learning new things. -
I saw on Discovery channel or some channel of its kind that a good diamond expert can easily tell the difference between a real diamond and a synthetic diamond putting it through some tests which I dont quite remember what they consisted of since I wasnt concentrated on the television at that time. I do remember that the synthetic diamonds are made of carbon but If you look on the net I think that youll definetely find that information. I also heard some time ago that instead of having dead people cremated (where they turn them in to ashes, I dont quite know if that word is correct in english) they can turn the rests of people into some sort of synthetic diamond which is not quite a diamond but it looks like one.
