  1. Interesting topic. It's quite a hard decision. They're both good. I can't decide now.Family Guy is epic! I just love the entertainment of it, it's funny and it's a classic. However, The Simpsons is quite good aswell. It's been on for longer than Family Guy. And you can watch it without needing Freeview, cable, Sky etc. And it's less entertaining, I only find a few episodes which are very funny on it.
  2. It's a very entertaining movie. I felt like watching it over again. I especially loved the first part, it's a really great movie this one!
  3. It could be because of your operating system is not compatible with it. Or maybe your OS is 64 bit? Try getting CS4 and see if it works, or CS2. If they do not work, then it probably is your OS fault.
  4. NETGEAR routers are quite good. I've used two versions and they seem to work perfectly without having any trouble. First version: DG834G. Second version: WGR614v9. I've got these routers for free from internet providers. For the DG834G I got from AOL. (I no longer use it but I still have the router lol.) The WGR614v9 I got from Virgin Media, which is my current internet provider. If you do not want to change your internet provider, you can just buy a NETGEAR router, usually around ?40 (its worth it) and modifiy the IP's to your current internet provider. NETGEAR routers also come with extra features, such as parental controls, portforwarding, port-triggering, security etc. So why not get a NETGEAR router?
  5. Hmm. I have seen a difference there between Dictionary's translator and Google's translator. Look at this example: One of them must be right, but I'm not sure as I'm not Dutch myself. And, as you already know, Google Translate is still in BETA stages, so that's why it may not produce 100% perfect translations.
  6. Happy Birthday, Google. Wow, I never knew Google was 10 years old... I'm older than Google by 2 years lol.
  7. Why did he sell it for so much? It's not that special... although it is a simple web link. I wonder what he will do with all that money then...
  8. Nice car mods. I love the Aston Martin, where can I download it?
  9. Britney Spears back again? Oh well, I don't really care lol. But good news for all of you out there who love her music. But where'd she go? Did she come back, with a shaved head again?
  10. Since I got my Vista computer (but I'm not on it), I've only reinstalled it 7 times. This was probably every 4-5 months. Now, it's gone really slow and I don't use it no more. I would laugh if someone actually voted 'Daily'.
  11. With a 64 bit operating system, it may be tricky to download programs, games, etc. But probably not documents. And for an Anti-Virus program.... well it depends on what company its from and there latest releases, whether its for a 64 Bit OS or 32 Bit. There are rarely alot of programs made for a 64 Bit OS. But I do know one program which was designed for 64 Bit OS's - SmartFTP . I'm pretty sure you can still download documents in such extensions like .RTF, .TXT, .PHP and all, if you were on a Windows computer. I'm not sure how to check if your OS can run a program though. What if you download the program and try?
  12. Are you sure it is officially in development, from Microsoft themselves? You'll never know, it could be some people who are just making it up. Like modifying Vista files then releasing it as another name; 'Windows 7'. I, myself, don't think that Windows 7 will be released. The next operating system which will hopefully be released is 'Windows Vienna'. Thats all I know for now. But lets wait and see until 2009-2010, whether Windows 7 will actually be released from Microsoft.
  13. Good detailed history of the 'Windows' family. I've used Windows 95, Windows 2000, Windows XP (Home Edition and Professional) and finally, Windows Vista (home basic, premium and ultimate). I think Windows XP is the best operating system Microsoft have made, I don't really like Vista because many programs are not yet compatible with it. And thanks for this version history, I found it quite useful as I didn't know some of the operating systems you have put on there, or the dates.
  14. This game is really fun and cool, I gotta admit that. When I downloaded it, I was playing on it for a long time. Now I've grown out of it and don't actually play it. It is a really good game for kids.
  15. I used to play it when I was around 10 years old. Now, I don't really play it. I've forgotten all about it actually. I can't even remember what my pet looked like on it lol. But it gets boring.
  16. You're very late. GTA San Andreas was out on computer a long time ago, and it's cheap too. It's around Ł9.99 or Ł10.99. You can get it via eBay or in-stores. But the PC version requires 3GB of available space, and atleast 1GB of RAM to play... but that's worth it. And if you havn't already known, you can add modifications to the PC version aswell, like these: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/404.png http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
  17. Coke Music is a great online game to play. It's better than Habbo Hotel. But unfortunatly, I no longer play it, myself. Infact, I don't play any games at all. I just care about keeping my site online by posting on the forums now. Its more important.
  18. Official Website: http://mccodes.com/index.php Pricing: McCodes V1: Free! McCodes V1.1: $75 USD [i don't think they do sell it in ?'s.] McCodes V2: $300 USD [i don't think they do sell it in ?'s.] If you look on Google using good phrases, you might find something useful.... Information: MCCodes allows you to make your own text-based RPG game. Variablez, a friend of mine (yes, he is on these forums) has got a great example of a game using MCCodes. I'm not sure if I should post the link in this topic though. So why not try out MCCodes if your making your own RPG text-based game? It's one of the best ones available.
  19. Wow, I love the new features and everything. Thanks for telling me about the new Credit System version, looks great.
  20. Yeah, I've came across one of these type of viruses. 15% of the contacts on my MSN have been infected by this virus. It's pretty annoying that it keeps trying to send it. I'm lucky I never accepted it.
  21. I've never came across anything like this before. Give your computer another scan, see if anything is found in your system. Or try using another scanner if nothing is picked up. You should have used your common sense, ask the contact what it is before you accept it!
  22. Oh no, more viruses every single day. I hope those virus-creators get banned from using the internet. Thanks for telling us about this virus, I'll never be visiting those websites if I come across them in Google.
  23. Just get AVG (Free/Pro). It's fast, only 25mb and it only uses up 1-2 processes. I've used McAfee AntiVirus before and it uses up to 5 processes and it makes my laptop slower. When I installed AVG, I saw a difference. So it's probably one of the best antivirus programs I know. You can also try portable antivirus scanners. They might help aswell.
  24. It is ok, but there's no point, really. Anti-Virus programs are worth alot of megabytes, and it will slow your computer down, depending on how slow your computer is. I would recommend AVG Pro, only if you have the money for it. Norton AntiVirus is a pain. But why will you need two antivirus programs on one system?
  25. How about we develop our own virus-scanners? I know it will be tough work, but we will need excellent coders. Or, Microsoft/Apple/Linux should make a brand new OS which won't allow you to download these virus-makers. xDI wonder who actually made the first virus in the world of computers...
