Cloning Into The Future Kinda like Time Travel....
Tran-Gate replied to Tran-Gate's topic in Science and Technology
http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Lol, sorry, the link above, the bottom paragraph is kinda like what I am saying. It is kinda wierd that the site above contains what I meant. Just to let you know, I did NOT copy that....... -
I had just thought of a possibility that could have people travel into the future!! If cloning was possible, would collecting data and storing it and cloning for a few decades later to live into the future? You would be able to share what happened in the past and explore the future. You could live like two lives. What are your opinions about this thought?

Theoretical Question - Teleportation? Question 1
Tran-Gate replied to galexcd's topic in Science and Technology
This is possible BUT is not probably not going to happen...... "Teleporting an electron or an atom is one thing. A human body is made up about 7,000 trillion trillion (no typo, there are two) atoms. Then you would have to worry about if ALL the parts get transported correctly and in the right place." From http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ : I believe in souls and if you get teleported. You would be dead and you wouldn't be able to live in the afterlife properly. The soul needs time to depart from your body. I thought of just using a teleporter as an item teleporter but then that would be extremely dangerous too. -
This can vary whether the human state is healthy or not and if you are living in a humid place or a dry place. I think that people can live from 2-5 days without water.

A very interesting topic...... Though, consider these paradigms: You are probably thinking that these quotes are STUPID!! But these people can't predict the future...... Charles H. Duell probably thought that technology could not advance or progress because he probably thinks that everything is top-notch. Well...If technology didn't advance, then we wouldn't have computers, cell phones, and all those good stuff. =) Well....in the future, I predict that time travel would be possible. This doesn't mean that this is not true!! But it could be possible. Actually, asking if time travel is possible is as hard as asking what time is. This preceding paragraph looks very interesting and is a must read!! So if mankind or any living things in the future could create a capsule or some kind of high speed device, they might be able to travel into the future. I bet that mankind at this very moment as you are reading this are developing a way to time travel without defying the laws a physics.

I found: It is supposed to be a big dish consisted of Fish slices, Fish of the Elasmobranchii subclass (a shark or ray), Rotted dogfish or small shark's head, Generally sharp-tasting dish of several ingredients grated and pounded together, Silphion "laserwort," apparently a kind of giant fennel, A kind of crab, beetle, or crayfish, Honey poured down, Wrasse (or thrush), Was topped with a kind of sea fish or Blackbird, Wood pigeon, Domestic pigeon, Chicken, Roasted head of dabchick, Hare, which could be a kind of bird or a kind of sea hare, New wine boiled down, Wing and/or fin, I am not exactly sure if this would be considered an english word or a word in general though.......

I can't really remember dreams back then but I do remember one that took place in my old elementary school in the cafeteria. I was eating breakfast when my aunt busted into the double doors and greeted everyone in a texas accent (creepy, I must have watched too much spongebob). My aunt then came over to eat breakfast with me in the cafeteria and a few moments later, the police came in and arrested my aunt for some reason. My aunt resisted so the police took out some kind of gun and turned my aunt into a smoked watermelon (wierdest dream of my life). I then ran away. Apparently, I drove an old chevy and I was somehow in the desert crashing into trash cans. After totaling my car in the "boss" trashcan monster, I woke up. This was really, the wierdest dream I ever remember............

Gunbound is kinda fun. It is a strategy aiming game where you use power and angles to bypass the wind and attacking other bots. You can download and register at ijji.com. =)

Maplestory is really fun. I found it extremely addictive for about three years. I started playing around 10 years old. Right now, I find it a bit childish with those graphics but the game play is actually find of fun if you get involved in the community. When I played, I tried to promote for player-started events and started some myself. I liked to play Maplestory because of: -The classes, the skills, and the fact that getting to the level cap is extremely hard. -The community is friendly. -GM are events are occurring more. -New items and game content just about every three weeks to a month. -The are a few other things, but I am too lazy to list them. You could play MS at maplestory.nexon.net or mapleglobal.com -------- Both go to same link. Minimum System Req. Recommended System Req. CPU: Celeron 500MHz CPU: P3-700MHz or higher RAM: 64MB RAM: 128MB RAM HDD: 300MB Disk Space HDD: 500MB Disk Space OS: MS Windows 98/ME/2K/XP OS: MS Windows 98/ME/2K/XP VGA: 3D Acceleration Card VGA: 3D Acceleration Card SOUND: None SOUND: 16bit Sound Card NETWORK: 56kbps Modem NETWORK: Cable Modem That is about it, I hoped this helped!! =)

Ur View On Cheaters Whats your view on cheaters?
Tran-Gate replied to Accure's topic in Computer Gaming
Cheaters are quite annoying especially in FPS games because they could use "chams (wall hack)" to see through walls and be able to tell where you are.... I only respect Cheaters if I cheat and I face another cheater to see who is the best cheater. Yes, I admit that i cheat on more than half the games I play.........*even on spider solitaire*. Sad, isn't it. In the cheater's perspective, they think it is fun. It doesn't mean that they suck at the game if they play legitimately. The cheaters, however, most of them, do not know how irritating it is to cheat. They mainly do it for fun though. And believe me, if you try cheating, you will find it highly- addicting. =) -
What is the best USB Flash Disk outhere?
Tran-Gate replied to hansley's topic in Science and Technology
There isn't really a "BEST" flash drive. It depends on the user's need and interests. A really tiny flash drive could be the "BEST" flash drive to someone but could be the "WORST" flash drive ever in the whole entire world because they might have misplaced it or they think they might misplace it. Sorry I didn't place my favorite "BEST" in my opinion flash drive because I don't really have one. I see lots out there. I like the kind that are retractable and have a encrypting function on it. =) -
I hope that Windows 7 fixes all of the bugs, crap, and speed problems that Vista has.....They could possibly remove some major graphic features because it takes up too much RAM and makes the computer slow... Along with Windows 7, I bet that they are going to release a DirectX 11 plug-in that is only compatible with Windows 7 just like they did with Vista and DX10.

Best Way To Transfer Files I just bought a laptop
Tran-Gate replied to disneyreporter's topic in Science and Technology
It depends on how much space you want to transfer.... If you have just documents, a few songs, etc. You may want to transfer using a flash drive. If you have lots of programs, hi-def videos and crap on your computer. You may want to use an external hardrive. If you get an external hardrive, you may not even need to put it on your computer. You could have it separate maybe next to your laptop so your computer can run faster not having to fill up so much hardrive space on your laptop. -
Hey guys, I am a very, VERY, curious person on finding out how things work on the computer if I find them interesting and I can't stop thinking about the thing until I find the answer. The sooner I find the answer, the less time I get a headache. So I was wondering how websites work. I mean how everything would be put together. Like how a game would be put together linking object files and libraries(i think). How would you export a website template onto an actual webpage and how would you edit an HTML file to make it fit the template exactly. How would you know how tall(length) your website template would be? How does PHP work with HTML and how could you put together MySQL and PHP together. I think that MySQL is a database manager, right? But how would you access the database/website from your computer? And how does PHP work with MySQL? So many questions. I am sorry for asking so many questions. I would at least appreciate if you(the reader) would at least answer the questions you DO know so I could learn something and stop wondering so frequently. Another favor I want to ask you is to try to make your posts/replies descriptive so I could possibly picture it. =) Thank you in advance~!!

Dream of Mirrors Online is fun once you start out but gets repetitive after a while. Yes, you get to be all the classes but they are pretty much the same but somewhat different.....somehow.....o.o Anyway, I do admire the cute little graphics and the people. I also think that the heartbeat and the line thing for the love system is cool. It was fun when I first found out what that was. I thought it was some bug and the heartbeat was for something else. Then the line I was connected to threw a snowball at me. I thought I died. LMAO.

Well, you kind of listed all of the pirate MMORPGs. Pirate King Online and Tales of Pirates are technically the same thing. Pirates of the Caribbean Online is pretty fun. Except that you can only get to level 7. To get all the features, you COULD pay ten bucks a month. I think it may be worth it even though it is based on the movie. You can choose over 10 ships. It is pretty realistic and fun.

Why Do People Care About Gmail? i made my account first try
Tran-Gate replied to GaMeRrEmAg's topic in The Internet
Well, gmail has a GREAT SPAM protector!! I mean, I once had a gmail account with 1.5k emails in my inbox and 15k emails in my SPAM folder(I was testing the SPAM preventer). Gmail also has about 7GB of space so you can "never have to delete another email". I actually got lost in my emails so i don't really care about space. I could have about 5MB space for email and not even use half of it because I check my emails everyday and delete read ones. Some people admire the fact that GMail has all of these functions. So they probably use GMail because they think it seems better. It is also user/noob friendly. It has a tutorial on how to use the email service. The Gmail invite thing, I don't know what that is. If I did find out, it would probably be stupid. -
I don't like Runescape too!! My school is non-stop runescape also..... Maybe because there are lots of functions if you pay monthly for it. Or maybe they don't have a very good computer to play any better games. o.O They could be addicted to RuneScape the way people are addicted to Maplestory, Gunbound, Combat Arms, Soldier Front, Halo, etc. If you are or have been addicted to a game, that is the same feeling and position that those addicts are in. I am just sharing my opinions. No need to think me wrong. =)

You can use PowerISO, Daemon Tools, etc. You can pretty much use any programs that can mount virtual hardrives. =) I hope that this post helped!!

// Reverse case using array indexing. #include <iostream>#include <cctype> using namespace std; int main(){ int i; char str[80] = "This Is A Test"; cout << "Original string: " << str << "\n"; for(i = 0; str[i]; i++) { if(isupper(str[i])) str[i] = tolower(str[i]); else if(islower(str[i])) str[i] = toupper(str[i]); } cout << "Inverted-case string: " << str; return 0; } In the for statement, how is the condition str? I am confused!! Thanks in advance!!
