The same thing happened to me. I had 70+ credits before I got hosted... when it said that I was approved for hosting, all the credits disappeared. I just assumed that when you got hosted, all the credits were supposed to be reset. I don't mind all that much, because it doesn't take too long to get the credits back up there (I'm back up past 20 hosting credits right now) but the only thing I didn't like was I wanted to get a nice start on my site, but I had to spend much of that time reading through and replying to the posts. I would have done this anyway, but I was worried that my account would get suspended, because there was no credits left in it. So I got my credits up to about ten and then started really working on my site. Now I've just been reading through the posts a few times a day and replying to the ones I find interesting. I figure so long as I reply to a few posts a day, that will give me plenty to work with if I do need to take some time off (which I undoubtably will have to eventually). Anyways, keep posting and you should have nothing to worry about, but I still wish you the best in getting those extra credits back in your account

I Just Don't Know How To Play The Army System board game
midnightvamp replied to guangdian's topic in General Discussion
Yea, when I first started playing, I had no idea what was going on either. But someone over there directed me to that page, and after reading it I knew a bit more of what was going on. It helps quite a bit by explaining what certain things mean. The rest is just basically playing around with the things, and familiarizing yourself with the different pages in the army system game. It took me a few hours of play time to understand it fairly well, but I think I've gotten the hang of it now If you start playing around with it, I'm sure you'll get the hang of it and find yourself just as addicted as I've become Best of luck to your army! -
Yea, I seem to recall somewhere that the first chicken came from an egg that was laid by a bird that wasn't quite a chicken, so the egg must have come first.

How Many Hosting Credits Do You Have?
midnightvamp replied to thebluekirby's topic in General Discussion
Currently, I'm at 23.38 hosting credits... I had plenty to last me for a while, but when I got hosted, they were reset, so I've been working my way back up. Slowly I'm getting there again -
Don't Know Where To Put This...so I'll Put It Here.
midnightvamp replied to Peaktao's topic in Web Hosting Support
That was my understanding of it... I'm not very tech-savvy myself... most of the stuff I read on these boards goes right over my head. There are some boards that do have some nice content on that everyone should be able to reply to. (I think these do count towards your credits as well): - What is? (Some of these are techy, but there's a lot that aren't as well.) http://forums.xisto.com/topic/170-what-is/ - Gaming (There is tons of subforums all about gaming... if you are into that sort of thing. I'm not all that knowledgeable when it comes to that sort of thing lol...) http://forums.xisto.com/topic/157-the-gaming-zone-7gearscom/ - Creativity (If you are creative and like to share your poems or songs or anything like that, this is the place to do it. Or you can reply to other people's creations!) http://forums.xisto.com/topic/131-art-creativity/ - General Talk (Nice range of stuff to talk about in here) http://forums.xisto.com/topic/15-general-talk/ Like I said, I *think* all those places count towards credits, but I'm not positive. If you want to make sure for certain, just leave a post, and then check to see if your credits went up at all. Best of luck to you -

Poll Here:how Long Do You Use The Computer? How long?
midnightvamp replied to lud@m@n's topic in General Discussion
I chose all of the above, because you didn't have a "more than five hours" choice. I'm always on my computer... my total was more like each of the choices added together. It's sad I know, but that is my life :(At least I can take comfort in the fact that half that time is spent on work, because it's on my computer for a lot of the time. Plus, when I was in school, it's constantly with me... I'm in a laptop based program, so there's no getting around it -
Do you have a dvd burner on your machine? I wanted to burn some of my work to dvd because it holds more, but I only had a dvd player on my machine, so I couldn't burn anything onto dvd.

I just finished my first year of college... and have done very well in it too, so I'm quite happy. It's a two year course, but there might be a third year offered, we're not quite sure yet. I'm hearing mixed things from different instructors.Anyway, I too have noticed the small amount of girls in my course... we started with 31 students, and only 5 of those were girls. I don't mind it so much, especially because the class size is so small. It's nice to get extra 1 on 1 time with the instructors if you aren't understanding something.

I'm very happy schools done (for the summer at least) where I am at. I've been out for 3 weeks or so now... and it feels great. Mind you, work just started to slow down as well, so that also makes it that much better! Not that I dislike school either, but it was always moving so fast, it's nice to be able to wake up and not have another assignment due.

Hey! I tried to find the quotes, and I wasn't able too... I even did a search for files or folders with 'quotes' in the title, but didn't find anything that looked too close to that. Oh well. And I'm using XP Pro too As for the candy canes! Very cool! I got them working and now they are my screen saver. I suppose that means I'll have to get off my computer long enough for it to come on Anyway, thanks for the info!

I work at the library in my college, but there's no time to do school work while I'm there. There's always the fun stuff to do like shelving the books, shelf reading (making sure all the books are in the right order), processing the new books and donations, answering patron questions... anyway, it's a fun job, so I don't mind

Thanks... now I feel smart lol... I'm a college girl. Where I'm from we go to college if we are looking for a trade to get into, while university will get you a degree, but not really train you for anything in particular. Except for becoming a teacher, to train other people. It more leaves the door open for a number of jobs. I didn't choose university because the program I wanted is only offered in college. My sister choose university because she is planning on becoming a teacher. I know about the people thinking college is less credible than university. I hear that a lot from people. (Mostly the university students, because my school consists of two universities and one college). But hey, I'm the one that got a job in my field of work after just one semester (plus I was already working another job on top of that, and maintaining my 4.72/5 GPA) so I think that college is just as important as university, and I definately know I'm not stupid... even though I've only have a diploma.

That's the same as me... I had tetris on the original nintendo system, and loved to play it when it still worked (my controllers are broken lol). I also had a tetris-like game that was on the computer which was fun... it had jewels to collect and the layers would move and different things on different levels. It was really fun too. I've never managed to beat any tetris game out there though. Unless you count Dr. Mario, which is sort of like tetris, because I beat that one....

What Is Your Favorite Website
midnightvamp replied to allabout42's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Right now it's this one I'm pretty much always on it! But I do like to go over to MSN games and play on there as well. I'm more into the online games, because they are usually less involved, simpler to learn, and don't take as long to get through the game. -
That's true. Where can we find this game? And do they allow for a free trial, because I don't think I'd want to pay out the 20 dollars without testing it out first... anyway, I don't usually do war games, but I might check it out...

Hi! Welcome! I'm just new here too I've been listening to your song that you have up on your website. It's very different than what I listen too normally, but I like it. It's has an interesting sound to it.Best of luck, and we'll probably talk some time here
