Are you sure you really read what he complained about OmArEmAd? he cant even boot at all and his computer is not even recognizing any hardware not to talk of booting into windows. this a hardware problem and not something you can cure with an antivirus. People in this forum should try to understand the context of any posst before they start saying anything. He is looking for a way to tackle a hardware problem n not a non-booting PC. Another thing I might wanna add is this, I you still wanna continue using your AMD microprocessor, I would advice you to provide a very good cooling system for the it. One thing some people dont understand is the fact that most games tend to throttle your processor and make it run high, in most cases, at a whooping 100% utilization and that consequently makes the processor to utilize and generate more power. the final consequence is the heating up of the processor and if there is not enough cooling system to withstand the heating, the CPU or the mobo could get fried. It aint like I hate AMD or that I am anti-AMD, it is just that I dont buy the idea of so many dead processor in their history.

You guys have to understand something very important here. Irespective of the fact that, as most people believe, that AMD microprocessors have a higher edge in gaming (I dont think so though), you also have to understand that these particular family of processors have a higher tendency to go bad than their Intel counterparts. The AMD processors come with smaller heatsinks fitted on them, unlike the intel ones. comparing a pentium 4 and an eqquivalent AMD athlon XP 3200+, you will find out that whether it is the PGA 478 or the LGA 775, they all have larger heat dissipators than the AMD. It is only the newer AMDs that come with larger heatsinks (of about the same size as the Intel ones).So, wat am I trying to say here? Basically, Intel processors have a longer life span based on the fact that heat being generated within the processors is being actively dissipated by the heatsinks (inbuilt and overlying). I am a ssytems techie and I have come across these problems a lota times. People come complaining that something went wrong with their AMD CPU whereas you hardly get the same complaints about Intel.So, if you are using an older AMD procesor, I would advice you not to run very multitasking applications in other tht it doesnt get overheated and fry your mobo.As it is, this is what I suspect happened to your PC and there is about nothing you can do to revive either the mobo or even the CPU.

Personally, I wouldnt wanna buy something that ambiguous though. I know that I am currently thinking of making a very serious upgrade to my PC but I aint ever thinking of using water cooling. I heard taht this is very hard to manage and I dont want something of which I have to get bothered about.

I use pre paid plan too. As it is everyone understand that a plan means that you have to spend more whether you make your calls or not.I kinda prefer pre paid though cos you get what you pay in that one while you just have to pay a static amount for a plan.

I have given them as run down of all the services, scripts and everything being offered by Xisto - Web Hosting. I have actually suceeded in building up faith in Xisto - Web Hosting n their part...and now this. I honestly hope that everything has beeen rectified 'cos it is going to be a huge degrading for me if my colleagues start thinking that I have recommended a bad webhost for the new company.

I am currently using an nVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 (128MB DDR). But that aint what I am gonna use in the new PC. I iam thinking of GeForce 8800GTX. I know about video cards and their effects on 3D and multimedia applications. You are right their I must say. I know that the Core2Duos would definitely out perform the Pentium Processors but what I am considering here, like I said before is the final cost. As it is, i am not gonna be buying only the processor and the mobo. I would have to think of the Graphics card, sound card (or maybe I would continue using my ol' Creative sound Blaster Life CT4830), the Memory RAM, Hard Drives, and of course the CD/DVD Drives. I am actually building a new computer so to say. I would also want a few periferials too like them FM/TV cards, WiFi, Bluetooth and some other things too. The thing is that I made an exchange with a friend. This is how it went... He came with his laptop for Windows Vista drivers download and we got into a discussion. He mentioned something about liking my desktop and I told him that I wouldnt take his laptop for my desktop. His laptop config is Core Duo T2400 (1.83GHz), 512MB DDR2 5300, 80GB HDD, DVD-RAM, WIFI, Bluetooth and some other smaller things too while my desktop is Pentium4 630 (3.0GHz), 1GB DDR 400, 240GB HDD (80x3), 4CD/DVD drives, the rest you read from the first post. Well, I considered it and decided to take the laptop but I would have to remove 2 CD-RW drives, the sound blaster card, my USB 2.0 card, 1 HDD plus 1 cooling fan. Do you think that this is a good deal? Wel, so I thought and that is why we agreed for the exchange. And he also said he is gonna balance me some money for the FM/TV tuner card I have in there too. Despite having this laptop, I still want a desktop for my server stuff. The laptop cannot take all my computer problems. Well, I wouldnt know whether to say that she was hiding behind what she really is. You know, she was really good and honest in the beginning. I just cannot say exactly what went wrong. She suddennly changed and everything I say, all my pleas all fell on her deaf ears. Actually, I disliked her mom from the very day that she mentioned to me that she knew all the while about everything. You know, she is one kind of person that is quite close to her mom and they share a lota things: ideas, thought and stuffs like that. So, you cant tell me that her mom never knew all these were hapening. Well, It has hapened and quite unfortunately, I cant rewind time. It was just a real pity that things went wrong between us. I really loved her with every damn iota in my heart, mind, body, sould and spirit. I just praying to God t please give me that loving spirit so that I can love my new girl more.

it all started in october 2004. when I stupidly (I would call it stupid now though I never felt it that way then) fell in love with this half cast (Indian-Nigerian) and she also fell in love with me (I was daft enough to have believed that back then). Everything was moving very fine for us untill I started noticing that she is kinda too hard a person for me. Ok..I am a soft person so to say. When I say that I am soft, I mean emotionally such that even my friends generally tease me with these words "I THINK GOD MADE A BIG MISTAKE IN CREATING YOU TO BE A MAN. yOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN A WOMAN INSTEAD."So, you could imagine how I felt at realizing taht I have landed myself with someone who is way too hard for my liking. She also didnt like the fact that I am very soft. Ok we continued that way and things kept on deteriorating between us to the extent that we started raising tempers against each other.Everytime this happens, I will always be the person to apologise, whether I was at fault or not. My friends, when I confide in then, will always tell me that that is quite wrong of me. that I should allow her to apologise whenever she is wrong, but I was so much in love with her that I didnt want to loose her for any reason. I guess this fact got into her head and also the very fact that I dont wanna loose her made her feel as if I am gonna die if she leavse me (and so I actually felt at that moment).It got to the extent of quarels (and I mean, insessant quarells) that will always leave me feeeling that I have messed up my relationship and she will in most of the cases, go home without bothering herself about me.She is already a University graduate and wanted to get married. As stupid as I was back then, I was thinking that I would be able to make her wait for me until I am ready to marry her. And one thing that kinda made this seem very certain (the fact that she is gonna wait for me) was that she once told me about a dream she had in which we were married and she had a child for me in that dream and some other things that she said. Well, I continued to persevere believing that everything will turn out fine at last.Finally, she had to go for a program we call national Youth Service Corps in my country (a program which every university graduate must undergo before going into the labour market to seek for job) and guess what happened? I got my greatest shock the day I called her and she told me that she has fallen in love with a guy I have seen on the occasions I went to visit her in her service area. I nearly went outa my mind but I decided to keep it kool. I completely lost me appetite and everything called food tasted like dust in my mouth at taht time. Anyways, i still continued visitting her and even became friends with this guy.The guy made me believe that he has nothing to do with her (I still dont know whether that is the truth or not) and we actually became friends. when he heard that I was having difficulties with my girl, he tried to unite both of. all to no avail. she even quarelled with him because of that.Finally, I was really pised off tyhe day i went to visit her and she refused to see me and switched off her phone so I wont be able to call her. I felt so bad because I have travelled a very long journey to see her as she is in another part of the country coupled with the fact that I got badly beaten by a very heavy rain on my way to see her. Only to be treated the way she did.Well, I was only able to meet the guy who tried to help me locate her. we were still outside as at 11:00pm while we were trying to locate her. Finally I had to go back to my lounge and really had the worst sleep ever.The next day, i still tried again to locate her but every effort was in vain. I left that place feeeling like a sunken tree trunk. She later came back to my state only to tell me that she is through with the relationship.Actually, all these things are not the major thing that really bothered me but the fact that her mom, while I was discussing with her a few weeks later, told me that her daughter used me to gain her freedom from her dad. OMG, I just couldnt take that. that I have been used for a whole 2 years +. Ohhh.....Well, such is my sad story and the final result of this is that I am finding it difficult to trust any girl that comes my way.Actually, I have another girl now who has also passed through some kinda ordeal in the hands of some other guy. Well, i am believing that since she has understood what it means to be REALLY HEART BROKEN that she is not gonna try and play any stunt on me like the previous one did (but you just can never tell women and their ways).

Listen Jiulia, u have to understand one very important thing. it makes no sense at all to fall in love with someone without letting that person understand, one way or the other, about what you are feeling for him. if you are gonna continue the way you are doing, you might as well consider yourself a failure in this respect, which I believe you are not. So, what are you gonna do? The next tie you see him, try not to be shy (as this is the hurdle you must jump over in order to achieve your goal). Walk up to him and try in your utmost to be polite (not too polite though) and smile at him. I know it aint gonna be very easy but always try to say things that will cheer him up and not make him to start loosing his temper on you. Who knows, he might (most likely) even be having a crush for you too since you said that you both stare at each other from time to time. if thats the case, all the better for you. You will notice that from his prompt response to everything you say or do. that way, you will get to know/understand that you are not the only one in the confused state. You can even help him overcome his own fear of approaching you (you have to understand that this shyness thing and fear and confusion also hapens to guys too n not only girls) by being a lil' bit more open and approachable. Don't make yourself apear to be the hard to get type because you will onnly be scaring the hell outa him and you will only succeed in chasing him away. Windows vista automatically updates all the drivers in your computer hardware. All you need to do is to click on the Windows Update icon in your start menu and every other thing will be fine from there or you can go through the device manager and have windows search for each driver in windows online driver database.Drivers are never a problem with Windows Vista. I have been using Windows Vista Ultimate for about 3 months now. You might not believe that I rarely use my windows XP Professional even though they are both installed on the same computer.

Currently, I am using a Pentium 4 630 (running at 3.0GHz factory default) powered PC which I have overclocked to 3.40GHz. Combined with a 1.0GB of Dual channel DDR 400 (which my ASRock motherboard is clocking down to DDR 333) with 240GB (80GB x 3 [2 SATA II + 1 IDE]) and 4 CD/DVD drives (3x CD-RW + 1 DVD-RW). My motherboard is being powered by an Intel 865GV Northbridge chipset (800 FSB).It is not like this computer is not functioning properly, but I want a higher performance considering the fact that I am runing a lot of multitasking aplications like 3DSMax, MAYA, Photoshop CS3, DW CS3 and the rest of 'em.I was previously thinking of going for the Quad core processors but, OMG their price is something else. Ok for an alternative, I have being trying to se whether I can lay my hands on a Dual Socket LGA 775 motherboard so that I can pump in 2 Pentium XE (3.8GHz [Dual core + HTT + Virtualization]) and probably over-clock it to somewhere above 4.6GHz (Thats mad, aint it?). It would mean running on 4 Cores (2 cores per socket). A kinda motherboard that supports DDR2 and has the ability to still support the future DDR3 and with an FSB of about 1333MHz. preferably a motherboard with an Intel 965/975 or the P series Northbridge chipset featuring multiple PCI E slots for nVIDIA SLI or ATI CrossFire capability for my gaming. I have tried to do some googling but I have not been able to set my eyes on this kinda motherboard. Every other feature I want in the motherboard is there but I have not been able to see a Dual Socket LGA 775 motherboard. All the dual sockets I have been able too see are all meant for the server processors (XEON and Opteron) and I don't wanna use a server processor for my desktop. This is my main concern as I still wanna substitute the Quad core I aint able to purchase at the moment (considering finances) for the 2x Pentium XE. I understand that the Quad core still got its advantage in terms of performance over the 2x Pentium XE, but like they say, u cannot eat your cake and have it.I would appreciate it if anyone of you could give me a link to anywhere I can get a dual LGA 775 socket motherboard.Awaiting your replies.

I generally use a combination DreamWeaver CS3 and Frontpage 2003 for the web coding while photoshop CS3 and fireworks CS3 are for the graphical designing. If I have anything to do with flash, I prefer Flash CS3 professional. I combine both DW and Frontpage because I have found out that there are somethings that DW cant do which FP can do and some things which FP cant do which DW can do.It makes the whole designing a more easier for me if I combine both.
