1. Isn't it illegal to use commercial music on your site without buying the rights?
2. Okay, sorry about that. I posted that, but I didn't realize I wasn't signed in yet. Go FireFox!
3. I (my parents) would pay $30 except we get it in a package with TV, so it's less. My connection speed is 384kb/s, and I'm satisfied. I would be cool to get their (Charter's) 3mb service... I think it's mad expensive though.
4. Try starting up your computer in safe mode by pressing F8 on the startup screen (before the Windows XP logo). Then try to change it to not read-only and restart your computer in regular mode. Tell me if this works, and if it doesn't I'll try to think of something else.
5. I never use Windows Media Player because RealPlayer is so much better. I think they should put support to show what you're listening to in more than just Windows Media Player... even though it's their own trashy player.P.S. The main reason I don't like WMP is because it takes up so much of the screen, RAM, and CPU.
6. I looked at Xisto, but I prefer Xisto (I've never used Xisto, however). I have to think of what I want my website about before I'm gonna get it hosted.
7. Good (but very basic) tutorial on Add or Remove Programs, but I would like to note that in Windows XP (not sure about earlier version of Micro$oft Windows) when you delete a shortcut to (certain) applications (or executable files, .exe), it alerts you with a notice about removing the program via Add/Remove programs. Add/Remove Programs is also included in the Windows tours.
8. I completely agree. Google is a search engine, made so people can search and find what they need. So now webblogs can just place a whole bunch of links to a site that they think Google should put first, and Google ('s bots) no longer gets to decide what sites fit certain searches best? Would it be such a bad idea for Google to remove the exploit that allows Google bombing? I mean, no other search engines use it or there would be MSN bombing, Yahoo bombing, AskJeeves bombing, etc. wouldn't there? And how can you say it's good and right to Google bomb your way to the top if it's not as good, as tomecki said? Google should be able to have it's own rating system, without webblogs or multi-hundred domain holders being able to completely bypass it's system.
9. That would be because Micro$oft is a monopoly. It's too bad that everyone in my school uses MSN Messenger or I would never use it again. I use Firefox and might make the switch to Linux if I can get a "version" that suits me well. MSN Messenger is still not cutting into some of the greatest features of Messenger Plus!, which is a little disappointing. I like some of the new features like handwriting, but nudges and winks are a step down because all they do is add to the file size, memory usage, and annoyance level.
10. I would suggest using Shareaza out of the two snlildude87 mentioned, but I would suggest you also you WinMX. I use both because what one can't find, the other can most of the time. I started out with WinMX, but I like Shareaza better now, because the downloading is faster. The searching seems to be faster with WinMX, but lately I find a file with, let's say, 100 sources, and it will sit there claiming to be "connecting", but it never does. I've tried this with 40 downloads in a row and it did the same thing. I made sure I was connected and everything. Well, I would suggest Shareaza strongly.
11. Thanks for the update; I was using MSN Messenger Beta prior to this. I'll give the final version a try.
12. I got .24(something), the middle one. I have good reactions in real life though. People always try to like fake me out with punching one way and then the other or whatever by I can take 'em.
13. I would just like to add to this that ric said "I wonder when mozilla will release v1.0.2", but I have Firefox v1.0.2... Screenshot of my about page is here. It is possible that his post (Mar 15 2005, 11:46 AM) was before Firefox 1.0.2 came out, but I don't think so because I thought I've had Firefox for over a month. Well anyways I support Firefox, but I agree that if it became as widely used as Internet Explorer, it would probably have just as many bug exploits. However, I believe the bugs would be fixed faster due to Firefox's open source'ness.
14. Arg... sorry about that, I'm a little inexperienced with the [ CODE ] tag. Here's what I wanted it to look like: <script language="javascript"> var color* = 0; var hexco* = ''; function bl*() { color* = (16777215 - color*); hexco* = color*.toString(16); hexco* = "#" + ("000000").substring(0,6 - hexco*.length) + hexco*; document.all.b*.style.color = hexco*; } setInterval("bl*()",{option}); </script> <span id="b*">{content}</span> * = digits (if possible) that would start at 1 and count up depending on how many times this code was used and by how many people in one page. Otherwise, if the option to change automatically do b1, b2, b3, etc. to change blinking speeds wouldn't work, then just put it as replace all *'s with 1's and get rid of the option tag and replace it with a number (it is in milliseconds). I thought 500 is pretty good (blinks every half a second). Well, tell me what you think of it.
15. Alright, microscopic^earthling, so I don't know if you were saying only mods to suggest new BB Codes, but I thought it would be cool to have a [ BLINK ] tag. Here's my idea: <script language="javascript">var color* = 0;var hexco* = '';function bl*() { color* = (16777215 - color*); hexco* = color*.toString(16); hexco* = "#" + ("000000").substring(0,6 - hexco*.length) + hexco*; document.all.b*.style.color = hexco*;}setInterval("bl*()",{option});</script><span id="b*">{content}</span> * = digits (if possible) that would start at 1 and count up depending on how many times this code was used and by how many people in one page.
16. Mizako, I wouldn't say that's quite so simple. The others that posted before you are much less code. I like rvovk's way the best, and it seems to work on his site for me, and I'm using Firefox (who isn't?). It doesn't work as well on IE (I only have it because my family uses it ), but my IE has been screwed up for a long time. It doesn't work with custom javascripts anymore, and the css is screwed up a lot of time, and installing SP2 with the new version of IE didn't help at all.
17. Well, I could use good ole fashion paint, or PixelToolbox to make my own, but I liked the exact style of those ones. Thanks a lot snlildude87.
18. There will never be internet that charges per click. The price of internet is going down (same speed, e.g. 256k 5 years ago to 256k today), not up. That would suck monkey toes though if all internet services did that. You would have to copy paste every single link to avoid charges.
19. I was about to say just about everything coolboy said. PSP is jam packed with features, especially compared to competitors (Nintendo DS). I don't have one, but played one a few times, and I loved it right away. The only negative I see is that they bumped the cost from 17,000 some yen ($180-$190 USD) in Japan to $250 in America. I think that was a stupid decision because if they would have put it at $199 to start, they could have almost thrown the DS out of the competition. I might wait for a price drop to $200 before I buy it, depending on if I can scrape the money sooner or not.
20. I wanted to know how you make those email graphics that many members use in their signature. Most of them are for Gmail, but I've seen some for MSN and Hotmail. Also, I've seen a few different styles. Back to the question: can anyone tell me how / where they made / got them? Thanks.
21. Is it a breach of your terms if someone using Google AdSense could tell me how many hits per day, week, month, or year you need before Google will place ads on your site? If it's not, I would appreciate someone letting me in on it. Thanks.
22. I play trumpet and I'm second chair behind someone who's extremely good. I can catch her soon though if I practice enough.
23. I've never played them, but I heard they were pretty good and I might buy one of them to test them myself. I would say to check some reviews on the games from magazines [my favorite being OPM (Official Plastation Magazine)] or websites.

Corey, (as stated by whyme) you should have told us that your wallpaper was going to be porn. Regardless, here's my current wallpaper. (I don't think it's illegal to directly link to that picture from Nero, but if it isn't, mods delete my post.
25. Getting a few cents to read an email seems like a waste of time to me. I agree that you'll get spammed up the wazzu on your email and snail mail if you sign up for a site, and as was already mentioned also, you probably won't get paid at all. Why not just get a real job that has a reliable, substantially larger income in much less time? Even a job at a fast food resteraunt is 20 times better than getting 2-5 cents for reading an email and clicking on an ad and referring people.
