  1. I don't have ads on any of my sites, but I use Google umteen times a day and I've looked at Google AdSense before and it seems to be way above all the others. It also is extremely not annoying compared to other ads that I see on sites. I have a question though: how many visitors per [ day / week / year ] do you need before Google will agree to advertise on your site?
  2. That makes me laugh, because I do the exact same thing: the funnier the phrase, the more ha's it gets. I used to say lol sometimes, but now I never say it. I completely agree that it is overused. It was probably one of the worst inventions ever because it's only 1 letter less than haha, and it's acually 1 letter more than ha.
  3. A terabyte DVD... Except shouldn't they call it a CD (compact disk) instead of a DVD (digital video disk)? It sounds pretty cool except I wouldn't get one because the drive would be too expensive, as would be the disks. Still a nifty little idea though.
  4. I like RPG games a lot too, but I had no idea that Diablo II qualified as an RPG. I thought it was more of an adventure. Well anyways Diablo II would be at the top of my list then.
  5. My favorite RPG is Final Fantasy X-2 followed by Final Fantasy X. I don't own FFXI because I don't want to pay for gaming .
  6. I'm sorry to write another post; I couldn't find an edit button, but this also sounds like it could be EXTREMELY (if it were acually invented) dangerous in the wrong hands. Think about terrorists manipulating people in high places or for torture or something.
  7. Wow. I agree with beeseven: this sounds out of control. I don't think it sounds like a good idea or safe at all.
  8. There is no way I believe in aliens because I was watching this show on TV (which I know can sometimes be misleading, but I acually believed this one) that said that there is this rare sleeping disorder that causes you to think you're seeing this you really aren't, like people that say they saw aliens at night that took them into their "space ships" and did experiments and stuff, and this disorder happened thousands of years ago and that's where people from ages ago said they saw mythological creatures. That's my belief anyways. Besides that, I am a catholic and I believe God created the earth and everything on it, and there is nothing in the bible to say that other life was created.
  9. There are already plenty of freemail providers that offer 1 gigabyte of storage for email accounts, and you could just use a few of those. I use Walla, and it's been pretty reliable to me. The only problem is finding a mail account that lets you send larger attachments... I haven't tried your suggestion because of the negative feedback on this page.
  10. I live in the United States. Specifically in Minnesota, and I use Carter Digital Cable. I have their lowest option: 384kb/s. Not so bad, good enough for me until I get a house of my own. Not that I pay for it.
  11. That's strange... I didn't know the blue screen of death happened anymore. I have never experienced it outside of my Pentium II CPU, 2GB HD, 32MB RAM computer running Windows 95. I acually have almost no problems with Windows XP and I've been using this same computer for... almost 5 years. Anyways about the topic: I leave my computer on most of the time... shut it off once in a few nights and for vacations and other such things. It doesn't seem to hurt it, and my computer has a good fan with a fan over the CPU, so I don't think it will cause too much damage.

    What Program...

I used to use Windows Media Player because it came preinstalled on my hard drive. Now I use RealPlayer all the way. It is more compact, more versatile, and I like it's look more (just my opinion). It also burns faster than Windows Media Player because WMP takes forever to "Inspect" and "Convert", while RealPlayer does it all in one quick step. I like how small it is when I play music because it doesn't take up my whole screen like clunky WMP. I've never tried Winamp before. I might some day.
  13. Hey, thanks a lot. It seems to work well and it is astronomically tiny. The only drawback I see so far is that you have to convert your images to GIF beforehand, but that's not so hard. Again, thanks a lot and I recommend Unfreez.
  14. I just joined here too. It does indeed seem to be different than others. The forums are all very well managed, and I haven't seen any spam at all yet. Three cheers for Xisto! I came for the web-hosting, but the forums cover so many topics and I'm glad I came here. Long live Xisto.
  15. Yeah, I have noticed that too... I use Firefox of course. I am still going to use Firefox to use this site though. Down with Micro$oft! I got tired of Internet Explorer, Java doesn't work correctly in mine, and neither do most custom javascripts on sites... Firefox is supposed to have worse javascript support isn't it? Not for me it doesn't. It didn't change when I got SP2 either (sadly I am using Windows XP because it's so much more "on the market"). Alright, enough of my mindless babling.
  16. My vote goes to Windows XP only because it is the most compatible with different games... It is more compatible with the higher level graphics cards and gaming essentials. That's just my personal opinion. I use Windows XP right now, but only because all the software and hardware I use aren't compatible with Linux.
  17. I think it's really nice. Thousands of times better than I'll be able to do in my whole lifetime. Nice capturing of the muscles, and the shading is good too. Keep it up, you could become the next Van Gough (please excuse my spelling).
  18. I enjoy graphics design and simple animation, but I can't find a good freeware GIF animation program. I am currently using "Easy GIF Animator" but it only gives you a trial of (I believe) 30 uses. I try to use to sparingly, but it would be nice if I could just use a program as often as I would like. Can anyone lend me a hand please? Thanks.
  19. I used to play Diablo II close to every day... I don't play it as often anymore, especially after the patch. As some others have mentioned, it pretty much screwed over all my older characters, but I do hail Blizzard's improving of the ladder system. I don't even remember what characters I have anymore, but I think I have a level 75+ traps Assassin (using Natalya's set... with a traps assassin ). If anyone wants to try me to see if I'm on my account is "iablo" (without the quotes).
