  1. I think this should suit your needs. I have the PSD file still alive, so I can change the font, font colour etc. I don't want any credits, but won't refuse them either
  2. 25 posts aren't hard to get, so you can quickly see wheater the service really is good or not. I doubt it, but who know. Nevertheless, there must be some catch. We'll just wait here, and you tell us when you get a free domain name
  3. That's cracker :PThe news is rather good, but the whole situation isn't. This one is a small fish, and there are many others. Those others are even more threatening because they make viruses that spread through the internet and infect everyone - but they are untouchable (the crackers), it's very hard to arrest them. Maybe the law should try a bit more to catch those guys, and only after that to catch the ones that attack a certain are of the network. I'm not saying that it should be forgotten, I'm only saying that a crashed system network = mess and crashed internet = catastrophe.
  4. Well, you see, people who are not really into computers think that hackers are the bad guys because they crash systems etc. - but that's just movie stuff. The real world is different. Crackers are the ones with bad intentions and they break into government systems, crack CDs and do other illegal actions. And they are often reffered to as hackers. However, hacker, the real one, is something like a computer guru, a person who has a vast knowledge of computer technologies and is willing to expand it. If they wanted to, hackers would be able to crack, but it's just not them.
  5. Yes, I know this one. I'm registered over there, but figured that it will take too long for me to get a domain, so I just bought one. It's really saves you from waiting, and isn't expensive. However, those who have been patient enough to wait, say that the web site is rather good.
  6. It has probably come to your mind to open a web site with goooooooooooogle.com as a domain name. Well, if you haven't, you did now But no, somebody has thought of that earlier - Google! Try this two links and see where they lead: https://www.google.de/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=RtwwVPiMFKiH8QfO1YHABQ&gws_rd=ssl - 3 letters "o" http://wwwgoggle.com/ - 5 letters "o" Yes, both lead to Google It's interesting, however, that Goooogle (4) doens't lead to Google As far as I got, there are no more google domains - only the 3 and 5 letter ones.
  7. Well that I don't understand! Sometimes people just need something and they want to get it at all costs. But they don't see sending threatening email won't help them! When I applied I was quite near to being rejected (I did get the account), but I surely wouldn't send such emails. It must be learnt not to give up - post again, this time better posts, and now or then you will get accepted.
  8. Let's just answer to some of these.1. Zebras are black and white :P2. For anyone in front of you it would seem as if the lights were of, because the light wouldn't get to him. As for you, behind the lights.. I'm not sure.4. Probably not, because it would ignite and burn before it reaches the high temperature enough to melt.
  9. It really depends on the amount of digital manipulation. For example, reducing the red-eye effect and adjusting the lighting is OK, but improving photos is an illusion. No one likes to see a popular actress live, because that's not what they saw on the picture. That's why you need a good photographer. However, if you get to manipulating photos, it's a different thing. This is usually done for pleasure or money, and it changes the photo not in order to improve the looks of a person (or something else), but to create something new out of something that already exists. And that is art.
  10. Aww, that's cute I already have an Xisto banner, but I'll put one, too. And we're not destroying his dream - this host is ad-free, our web sites aren't And you must understand all those people that apply with pathetic or none posts. I would probably do that 2 years ago, because I wasn't that much interested in web sites. They also aren't, but one day they might realise (like I did) that a person needs to try hard in order to succed. In the case, the person should post to keep the service active.P.S. Have you been thinking about a "Donate" page? I'm sure someone would be happy to give you some money
  11. Yes, I have just read the post and was about to tell you that you are exaggerating. All that you said is true - I respect Xisto the way it is and thank OpaQue for the wonderful service. And I am sure that's what all other members think. I don't see why this post has made you so angry. He just said what was his dream and explained his situation. Nevertheless, I agree with everything that you, maybe unnecessarilly, said.
  12. Actually, the best way is to make you own But I know it's really hard for beginners. About a year ago I wasn't able to make a decent web page, but I didn't use templates. I went with the ugly design, and improved it all the time. Yes, I did download templates, but only to learn more about web design. Just be patient and make what you can. You will anyhow need a lot of time to develop a good web site, so why not spend one year on web design? It's worth it, because if you perfect your skills you can charge it just like that. An average web site with average design and 10 html pages - $100. And it's done in a week. To end with, the first Google result when searching for "free templates": https://www.freewebtemplates.com/
  13. No no and no, when will you people learn? Hackers aren't bad, whereas crackers are! Hackers are just people with a huge knowledge concerning computers, but they don't use it for mischiefs - crackers do. That's why I support hacking. But I'm not doing it by having a hacker boot screen
  14. I don't think you should use 1.3.1, because it's not as safe as 2.x.x versions. Of course, it's not easy to crack as phpBB, but you better stick with SMF until you get enough money to buy ipb.
  15. m^e just said exactly what I wanted to No matter how much we try to improve the overall opinion on IE, it really isn't posibble, because we would be lying. So, my voice goes to Firefox.
  16. Ah, I have found the mistake! Actually, my friend told me (maths freak). You see, if we represent 0.999999.. as 1-0.000000..001, that is incorrect. We are playing with endless numbers, and therefore 0.0000..001 is equal to 10^(-infinity) - I hope you understand what wrote. And 10^(-inf) is equal to 0 (that's how it's defined in maths, as far as I understood it). That's why we can't represent 0.999.. that way. That's the error
  17. Yes, I started having this problem too when I switched to a top level domain. You access CPanel from your domain, but the certificate is not connected to it Don't worry about that
  18. Exactly what I wanted to say. This thing is good, and I find it funny, but beware! Have a backup ready all the time and be prepared to work with DOS I tried this once, following the manual, but it didn't work out well. Fortunatelly, I was able to fix it from safe mode. Nevertheless, try it, all you can do is crash Windows - which is not such a bad thing at all
  19. Opethian, I love your manipulations! That's something I'm keen on learning, but my manips are still far away from perfect.
  20. It's more dangerous with lap-tops, since all the electronics are beneath the keyboard. As in my case, it probably only needed to dry.
  21. Sarah81, you are right, and I support using free software (Linux, OpenOffice etc.), but you see, sometimes it can't give us what we need. For example, look at AutoCad. There are many people that need it, but it really isn't easy to get it, since it costs a few thousands dollars. Sure, you can get another software, free, but it won't be as good as AutoCad. Some software just can't be replaced with something else. And what about games? I'm sure you can't find a Half-Life equivalent for free, can you
  22. Oh well, I hope someone will find my answer useful
  23. True Now you can get keyboards for $5. But quality still remains quality.
  24. I hope I do not get busted for saying this, but IMO piracy is a great thing. Well, maybe not in a rich country, but where I live, it is necessary. Until two years ago, you could get into any games shop and buy a game for $2. Now it is illegal and there aren't any shops. But piracy is still surviving. You can always find someone who sells pirated copies. But why, you might ask, when originals are better? You see, an original costs about $50. It might seem cheap if your salary is high, but in my countru the average salary is $300. You buy food and everything else you really need. After that all you have is - nothing. That's why people rely on piracy. It really doesn't matter, because if it did, companies such as Microsoft and EA Games wouldn't be as worth as they are.As my friend would say, give piracy a chance!
