Ok so the reason why I hate my job is actually undercatogorized in multiple sections, one of which may relate to the legal or unlegal use of telemarketing and telesales schemes. First of all, I work for an insurance company called RIAS in the south of England. This company is particular. I could write a book or two about it to be fair but won't caus I have go to bed and wake up tomorrow morning to go to work. Enough said. They train people for 4 weeks to become so-called ''outbound sales advisor'' and with a fancy name like that, everybody is obviously enticed to at least try the job. That is also along with the great promise of an excellent sales target BONUSES scheme. Which, by the way, is not exactly as they describe it in training. What I do is essentially sitting in front of the computer with a software called INSIGHT and WIDS Outbound connected together for me to receive the calls that come through from an amazingly huge automatic dialler machine that brings up the popup window of your computer, that is coming up for you to speak to the customer. Cold calling. You have a script of specific and well-thought out questions to try to sell home insurance policies to over 50's people. The script has to be followed to the 80% compliance percentage and whoever doesn't get compliant, gets told off. Coming to the core of this ''rant'' (even though it's not really a rant cause otherwise it would have been much more destructive on my part), I hate my job because I always have to repeat the same phrase over and over and over and over again until I finally sell that insurance policy to be able to meet sales/quotes to contact target and eventually even be able to keep my job. That is simply a little taste of what my job actually does entail for me to go through, those are all the pieces of information you need to understand how crappy it is. Right, because being a platform really helped the Mozilla suite, WMP, RealPlayer, and all the other crapware that's gotten bloated over the years. I used to play runescape and wasted 7 months of my life getting to level 70. It was so easy, and I don't think I even really enjoyed it. It was just getting the items and money that made me want to play like "the sara staff" and "gold trimmed rune armor." lol after I wasted time getting all the lame stuff in the game I realized what a joke the game was and how I wasted so much time collecting megabytes that weren't even real. Also there are so many hackers on runescape that it's not even funny. I got hacked about 3 times and was able to recover everything (from real hacks, not noob scam crap) but it just got boring and finally I realized how much time I was wasting. Now I play World of Warcraft which is SO MUCH better. The graphics are great, it's FULL SCREEN and the gameplay and user interface just owns. One thing I realized that runescape was so dumb because you actually had to get RUNES to cast spells and in WoW you just cast them for free as long as you have mana points. Not everything in warcraft is as overpriced either as it is in runescape.-reply by xboxdude

I hate people who talk on them while they drive, cross the street, shop, eat in restaurants, use them at the movies, on planes, trains and cruise ships.And I hate the ones with the cameras even more. What is so #&%@!)_+? important to talk about. Are you really that self-important that you need it so much? Somebody bought me one for my birthday. I absolutely hated the ringtone and I made the person change it. He showed me how to use it, but I paid no attention. It still is in the box. I have no intention to use it. My teacher is stupid and I hate her sooooo I much! even worse I am so mad at her I cannot sleep and I am up posting this just to try and vent my anger because all other normal people who I could talk to are sleeping and not up being furious at their idiot teacher. Basically she missed an entire section of my paper and then marked me 10% off for it and now I have a lower grade in the class for it. And she is rude and acts like I'm just trying to get her to raise my grade for nothing when in fact I spent time writing the part of the paper she said is missing!
