You are lucky, my skool stars at 7.30 and finish at 6.30. Then we gotta do a activity. Home by 7. 3 homeworks, 1/2 our each. Saterday at school til' 5 then 2 homeworks. 3 tests evry Monday. As most of you, I'm having a very similar problem. Mine consists of my pc shutting down after about exactly 10 minutes it has been on.I've figured this couldn't be a virus, because I tried simply pressing delete and entering my BIOS setup, and staying there for 10 minutes. It shut down.I've figured this could hardly be a virus, because I did not even boot windows in the previous test.I've figured this COULD be RAM but it shows no obvious sign of it, although I'll take care of buying or borrowing a new stick to try it.What caught my attention here is the short-circuit possibility. I'll have to try with a new powerbar, but other than that how would that be possible?-reply by Recon

POWER OFF WHEN TRYING TO INSTALL XP Pc Powers Off After Boot - Need Help Hi I have new HD and I'm trying to install winxp from CD but the PC will not stay powered up for more than 30 secs. Whether I am running the install or simply leaving the PC in, for example, the BIOS set up menu, after 30 secs or so it powers off I have taken off the heat sink and cleaned a lot of muck out of it and reattached it to the CPU with fresh heat resistant tape. The fan is clean too and seems to run well. The power supply fan is running with no noise so I assume it is ok. Is there anything else I should be thinking of? Thanks -question by NICK

Punkbuster is causing LAg spikes Connection Problems And High Ping Playing Battlefield 2 Replying to iGuest I manually updated Pbuster a month ago and started experiencing this same issue - spike in lag randomly. It seems to happen at the worst possible time, when the action is taking place. I believe Punkbuster is bogging down certain players to test for hacks, etc. I don't know why they are targetting some and not everyone, but that is what I think. -reply by David

Seagate 750GB hard drive corrupted Help For My Seagate Sata Hard Drive! I have a 750GB seagate hard drive which I use as an external hard drive through usb cord since I'm using a laptop. Already I used to have some problems with delayed writing failed problems and never really got to solve it. Again today it said this and the hard drive just stopped working. Usually I just needed to restart it, but today it wont work. It'll turn on and my laptop notifies me that I have plugged in a usb but when I try to open it it says " the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable" I have about 400gb of important stuff on it... Cant afford to lose it. Please help! thanks.

Nothing happened on that date, but I've had a really scary personal experience with the number 666. Former route 666 goes through north-western new mexico, usa. Its road number was changed the year I drove on it, but the map we used was from a previous year, so it was marked 666. We drove on former route 666 from gallup, nm up past shiprock to cortez, colorado. We stopped early in cortez and stayed at a hotel. We went to the pool. One of the drains on the pool deck was not covered, and my mom stepped in it. She got a huge gash on her knee. She could not walk for a few hours or even get up. It was bleeding badly and left a big dent there. She had to be taken to the local hospital later that evening.
